| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode felt kinda slow, more like the guys getting some of their spotlights. Mostly, I think it's Riku that got his moments and having the most fun. The outfits though.  So by this pacing, I assume each episode is half of slice of life content and other half is sports with the striding although it's mostly outdoors. Hope it focuses more on that. |

| Practicing switching because of last time: not just the runners, but also the relationer's instruction. The teacher / coach (Okiayu-san) for the club appearing to not just give out the first run but also speaking unusual phrases (sort of like idiom). Long hair guy (Suwabe-san?) talking about waiting for the wind... Wow, so many preparation for the run. About sponsoring, OnoD's character suggested for popular company that owned by his sister. With exchange, they have to modeling, too. Kimura-san's character showing dark expression when seeing his brother... Meeting three runners from another school (Mamo, Hirakawa-san, OnoYuu)... OnoKen's character being modeled in female outfits (well, kind of suitable for his character)? That's why he was reluctant to do so. Nobu's character is best at running, but not cooperative. Trusting, and what long hair guy said is the key? Changing rival at the last time and the opponent is that another school they met... did they request it? It's basically suitable for airing ED this ep. because of the appearance of the rivalry team, who are vocalists. They are just doing the same same pose all the way, though. |

| Uhh not much kakkoii running and jumping this episode. Instead they were doing photoshoots (for gathering sponsors). The two newbie + senpai OnoD are wearing tux why're the other two animal pajamas? I still haven't remember all the guys name... Haru-look-alike is really the Haru for this series >.< just his personality is different. They meet another school's stride club XD I'm kinda surprised one of them is voiced by Mamo (the young master one) lmao why are there so many similarities with free! ? Shogi guy (who wears glasses and look like Rei) also wears swimming trunks (whyy??) |
| Not much action, instead it focused on its characters. Slow pacing, but still good. 4/5 |

| More of a buildup episode, and the ED sounds nice. The character interactions felt pleasant to see. Takeru's always that one weird guy, but he and Riku somehow got on the same level of understanding by the end. |

| Kohinata best girl! Takeru is too serious, almost to the point of being annoying. But I guess he's bringing out the momentum of the team, although by provoking and inspiring Riku at the same time. At one moment, "You're not serious enough." and the next "I believe in you." Like, the hell dude? >.> Not really fond of the theatrical dialogues either. "Soka.. You're waiting for le wind. When you feel le wind, don't hesitate. Stand up and start running. If you can do that, le wind will help you." So, when there's no wind or you can't feel it, keep waiting and lose the race? Yeah, okay. |

| Characterization is a good thing so I enjoyed this episode a lot The training segments were pretty fun to watch especially since we pretty much were able to gauge how everyone runs together Takeru is probably the most impressive so far imo considering that he's able to run according to everyone's max speed but man when he and Riku finally synced up, that entire scene was beautiful The modelling stuff was HILARIOUS yet awesome (Showing its Otome roots finally lol) and I felt so bad for the blonde guy lol....Also it's nice to see that they answered the question of who Riku truly and I must say that it was itriguing to see that go older brother was the best at Stride We got to see the other guys from their school that were previously involved in the club and so far I like them too (Especially the one with the long hair) as well as our first set of rivals (Also What is with this series an having siblings that barely look alike lol) Can't wait to see the festival race though and I'm.expecting pure awesomeness so hopefully that's what we will get |

| Definitely a bit slower than the first episode, but it did a good job setting itself up for the action next week. This show's bread and butter is definitely the running/parkour scenes though so I do hope it focuses more on those in the future now that some of the characterization is out of the way. Also, I'm really digging the art style. It's very stylized and I think it looks great- especially during the fast-paced scenes. I still feel this will be a top 3 anime this season so long as it paces itself properly. |

| Slower than the first ep.. But that's ok.. They had to do some character development.. That feeling you get when they start sprinting! i mean, I also love doing it once in while when I'm working out so when I saw them I felt the urge to just go out and RUUUNN !! Anyone noticed Riku seeking attention from Nana? Haha I'm shipping them from the very beginning :) The next ep is going to be EPICCCC !! |

| Well it moves along okay and the characters are decent. They're trying really hard to make sprinting look interesting but that really isn't possible no matter how much you blur the characters, make whooshing noises or slow mo a handoff with a gunshot clap. It was better in the last episode where there was some parkour. |

In the next ep there will be parkour for sure :) Love the fact they added parkour to this. |

It wasn't too in-your-face though, they could have had the guys in speedos doing suggestive poses. Anyway, this was a decent episode that focused more on comedy. Next week should be better since they're actually going to compete, so that's something to look forward to. |

| Never recognized the trap until they mentioned it, That was well done :P More or less a Build up episode. The training was pretty cool and it was really nice that they were finally able to connect. First match next week and it's Saisei as well. We finally get to see a real official Stride match. Looking forward to this :D |

| I like the slower pace of this episode because we get to understand everyone a bit more, as well as meet new characters. I like how Fujiwara was testing them all by running at max speed. He's a real no-nonsense guy. Can't wait for the match next week! |
