Can these guys be anymore in love?...Don't answer that I had never heard of 07-Ghost until now so I can't compare it to the manga, but I could easily poke a few holes into what I see in the first episode. Maybe its just the medium, but the story is moving too fast. What kind of magic are they using? Where are they? Why are they? I hope the story slows down to explain some of this stuff. Also, the main character with amnesia plot? Really? |

| I have been waiting SO long for this to come out. Not disappointed in the least. The music was a little overbearing though, a little too dramatic. I mean, it's already dramatic, but the music just goes a bit overboard, I thought. WTF, no Frau! |

| mikage and teito's relationship is great, but their closeness just screams, "this is too good to be true. one of us is going to die for maximum ANGST OUTPUT!" hmm... i see the manga has scanlations now. as this is bound to begin to differ from the manga at some point, i might as well start reading it so i can know when to drop this. |
| ^ This. Pretty much, exactly :) I really enjoyed it. The art was nice, the pacing good, and I already want to know about many of the characters. I find the argument over whether the art is "great" or "sucks" redundant, and from an animation standpoint, I had no problems with the fluidity. I'm definitely look forward to more. *goes to track down the manga* |

| I watched the first episode last night. It’s a good start to process for the story, I think, but I noticed that anime differs from the manga, which was not good for anime. However, I won’t drop that anime because I really enjoyed it. Hopefully, the story slows down a bit, so it can explain some information about magic and others. |

| A lot more people seemed to like this more than I expected. This episode definitely left things open for it to become interesting, but none of the characters really did anything for me (maybe because there has been no girl yet). Well I anticipate the two friends won't be together for the majority of the story so I won't be turned off of this by the intensity of their relationship in every episode. The music was pretty good. The ED gave me hope that the series won't be as much bl as I thought it might be from watching this episode. As for the episode, not much was givin on creating the setting that they are in. We know some things, but too much was left unexplained; like the powers. I guess more will be revealed about them as the main character is "discovering" his own powers. Since I was anticipating this I'll give it a few more episodes, but some interesting characters need to appear soon. |

| I don't see why people are complaining about the animation quality. I mean, compare this with some other series and this could be considered top notch, not gonna name any names here. And it was also pretty clear from the plost description that this was going to be pretty generic. With that being said, neither of those two things bothered me. Although it is pretty generic, it has some original points that seem pretty interesting. It managed to not be boring and that in itself will keep me watching. |

| Decent quality and kinda interesting, but not enough to pull me in. The super yaoi vibes are everywhere too. Generic plot and cgi that stands out didn't help either. This might be a typical yaoi shounen anime or it could pick up. I'll keep watching, but I can't guarantee that I'll make it to the end. |

| Huh, well, I guess this anime is for those who like highschool boys, uniforms, German military academies and highschool boys with uniforms in German military academies. I don't know why producing companies still bother to make animes like these, it has no interest whatsoever, but I guess you can earn some money this way, and as there's no shame as long as you earn money, why shouldn't they do it? So, the animation is bad, the design strongly hurts my eyes (well, I'm not particularly attracted to you bishonen boys), the characters are generic (i.e interchangeable), and the script explains a whole lot of bullshit to make us swallow the pill, but it doesn't work. Oh, and I forgot to say that the setting is once again a magical/fantasy land in period of war. Tired of it? Me too ! Then, we can guess the whole plot and "psychology" of the characters just by looking at the first two minutes of the episode, not counting that everything feels overly cliché, even the music. Well, I enjoyed the OP, it's already a good thing isn't it? To conclude this first impression about this show (yes, I dropped it), I must say that I'm really pondering about which one is the worst between 07-Ghost and Asura Cryin, but I feel I both hate them equally and entirely from the bottom of my heart, so it ends in a draw I guess. |

| Holy crap! Yes, this delivered and met my expectations. Soooo much better than the manga. And I get to hear Saiga-san playing lead. YEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!111one!! :coughs: Um...anyway. The music, animation, and all that jazz was awesome. The only thing was I think more could have been done to make Teito and Mikage's bond more evident versus the typical "I swear I'll protect you because we're best friends though we don't really need to do a whole lot to actually go so far as to convince the viewer how good of friends and maybe something more that we are and pretend that that will so immensely touch the audience." Yeah, I like their friendship...but it's hard to feel it. I mostly blame that on the manga because that was really how it was written. The part where Teito takes Mikage 'hostage' was great. And the fighting was so cool. Can't wait for more...but what's with this 25 episode crap? The manga is ongoing, I wish they would have left the episodes more open-ended that way it can maybe follow the manga more while making it better/more interesting than the actual manga. My two pennies. |

| I think this will be the fangirl anime of the season. If I remember correctly we saw exactly one girl in the whole episode. Still, I did love it. Really nice action scenes and interesting characters. Went in with low expectations but got those shattered fairly early on in the episode :P |

| I don't see how some people immediately think of yaoi after seeing the first episode... Two males that are close (and when I say close, I mean brotherly type of closeness.) This is one of those series where I would strongly suggest that people read the manga first (or at least the first volume). There is more to the storyline than this first episode. I would comment more... but I don't want to be the spoiler. =P Of course, as always... I'm watching for the storyline... |

| Wow...I thought Ristorante Paradiso was a fangirl anime. Maybe this will be better than Nabari no ou turned out to be. They seem very, very similar. |

| Hmmm seems that this series has potential, although the elements that made up some parts of the episode seemed to be things I've seen from a lot of other series so lets hope for something which sets it apart. Loved the character designs but not sure about their choice of voice actors I felt Mikage's appearance didn't match his voice =/ kind of reminded me of Tamaki xD |
| Mikage reminds me so much of the blond guy from Monochrome factor it isn't even funny. Anyways can't wait for the next episode, I think I saw Frau in the next preview, he is my favorite! For some reason I really want Klein to yell "You Wimp!" Darn you for having the same VA as Wolfram. |
