| I can't get enough of this series, I eagerly await each episode every week! And...my expectations are always soo extremely high each week, and it really delivers EVERY WEEK, for 14 weeks. It's definitely slowly becoming one of my top favourite series of all time. This episode, i was particularly on the edge of my seat (for obv reasons). It was focused on Chihaya, and really she is an awesome character no matter how naive she is. It's always interesting to see what she'll do next. I loved the little quirks of this episode. HAHA! The Tshirts and Chihaya standing. :) Can't wait for the next episode! Continues from where we left off? |

Confucius said: I thought Taichi was thinking about the whole A class vs B class thing was because he was afraid of playing against Arata You're gonna make me re-watch the season now. But I thought that he got over those anxieties a few episodes ago, once he acknowledged to himself that he needs to win using his own talents, and that he's able to when he plays his own game. I think he's more depressed that he can't fulfill the 'next time' challenge/comment from Arata. Perhaps both Arata and Taichi are waiting for something to happen before they can pursue Chihaya. The way he was gazing at Chihaya when she was warming up -- he couldn't take his eyes off her -- I'm sure that it's weighing on him. I wonder if some Class B players can progress to Class A by doing well in this tournament. Maybe it's fitting for an anime with this subject matter, but the way the story is told, with all the flashbacks, it tests my memory. |

| I really thought at first that the Queen resembles Arata but then, in the middle of the game I realized how different she is. Arata is much kinder in facing his opponents in a way that he doesn't think of something like "How much will he/she last?" I think she really highly regards herself wherein Arata is much more like Chihaya in the aspect that he plays karuta straightforwardly. Regarding this episode, I really like the aspect where Chihaya finally managed to take two cards. It was really frustrating watching her getting beat up because her opponent has a lightning speed ability to take cards while it was clearly shown that Chihaya knows what card to take beforehand. Like everyone else said, I also think Chihaya would lose this time. Just thinking about it makes me depressed but I guess, this will also be her major step to improvement. (I'm not too thrilled with the idea of love quadrangle between Taichi - Chihaya - Arata - Queen. ) |

| Arata would make the current Queen cry her eyes out. So she probably wont be facing him anytime in the remaining 11 episodes we have. But I liked the Queen, since she has attitude like a Queen. The final five minutes of the anime was great when Chihaya started to make a comeback. My heart jumped when she took the second card in a row. Ironically, thats where the episode ended. T_T Now will have to wait for a whole week again. Watching great shows week in week out is torturing. T_T |

| That Queen seemed so evil. xD Like "I'm all karuta, and I'm best so I'll rub against your face" And then that t-shirt scene happened. xD I really want to see what happens in a meeting with Shinobu and Arata, given the way they play... I was also expecting the Queen to be older, but being also 16 gives me shivers (I hope this story ain't a hint to pair her to Arata and Chihaya with Taichi! lol) oh my let me not border ship-talk, that's not my thing. xD I'm really excited over the match. Next episode outta be good. |

| Yeah it was. I almost burn into tears for chihayas desesperation, and i really jumped from my bed when she get her first card... God, the next episode is going to be breath taking. Not suitable for heart disease |

| Just like the majority of sport's anime, it's starting to get repetitive in "storyline". It's usually difficult match followed by flashback from the past, then it ends with a breakthrough. It's not obnoxious though, it manages to flow pretty well. |

| Of course Chihaya is going to lose. I'm just waiting for Chihaya to lose the Chihayafuru card. Anyways, an amazing episode, but needs more Arata. Actually, I want to see Queen and Arata speak to each other since they have nice voices. |

| What I'm interested in above all is (eventually) seeing Arata's present skill level. That or I just want to see him smash everyone regardless of how much more practice they have over him. Seeing as how the turnout between Shinobu vs Chihaya is pretty much obvious given how premature their first encounter was. |

| Well the Queen is ... INTERESTING, to say the least o_O Not really what I was expecting lol. Although it was kind of sad to see her think she was playing by herself ... how is she so freakishly fast?! I mean to beat Chihaya to a card her hand was ALREADY ABOVE?! Crazy talk, people O_O Too bad we didn't see other people play (why did Taichi win already? Odd players or something? O_O), and I've always wondered why do Kana and Desktomu ALWAYS WEAR THEIR GYM UNIFORMS (or whatever they are)?! O_O Lol seriously D: Nice to see Chihaya come back in the end though! Although dunno how the Queen missed her shirt for all that time until the middle (although I guess they were too focused) ... I don't think Chihaya will be able to win this match (it would be too unrealistic if she did I think) but it's nice to see her "catch the interest" of the pro, as it were :P I thought we were gonna see Arata ... guess not :P I don't mind really though haha XD |

| THAT WAS AWESOME! Wow, time passed so fast while I was watching it and I didn't get bored one minute of it. The Queen is so pretty, she looks like Arata, though I don't like her personality. I got emotional when Chihaya finally took one card from her. <3 A-w-e-s-o-m-e episode. I may change my rating to 9. |
| The Chihayafuru episodes always go by in a flash, so hard to wait between each ep :( Great episode as always, I'm glad Chihaya got some cards in the end there :] |

| Is it wrong for me to say that I want Chihaya to lose against the Queen? If she does win, then the series would be over with. All she has to do is to beat Arata in Karuta or something and that's it. Good episode though. Does anyone else think that the Queen looks a little bit like Arata? Just me? |

Along with similarities like their different japanese way of talking that people from that area seem to have(btw that can actually be very cute) and her crazy Karuta abilities make her seem a little like a female Arata. Her hair make her look a little older and they are not a usual style in anime. They remind me of the sex-hair from Amagami. Anyway i find her strangely attractive.
