The slow and awkward farewell scene with the kids; the assistant saying the coordinates like it’s a poem recitation. The unnatural intervals between people talking.

Maybe it’s better than previous 2 episodes, even if that’s the case it just went from shittier pacing to shitty pacing.

I agree with the sentiments regarding poor animation & pacing.

Everything felt stilted & slow, and pacing with the drawn out still frames, flashbacks (we obviously need more sunflower scenes, duh!), extended recap and staring contests didn't really do this episode justice.

It's also odd that taking out the card in his head didn't make him turn into Victhor in episode 1. Some people suggested that maybe it's because he only had it out for a short period of time in the first episode, but last episode showed him switch to Victhor almost immediately when they got into space. It doesn't really make sense, but I can deal with that.

What also doesn't make sense to me is that he suddenly isn't affected by other negators or their abilities. He's "Undead," so why does he suddenly have extra unrelated powers just because he regained some memories & swapped personalities? He's obviously still Undead, only with an expanded range of how he uses those powers (like regenerating/transfering bodies from any detached limb), so why does he also gain the power to just ignore all the other rules & effects?

Seems like a Blackbeard One Piece situation & the man has multiple devil fruits. I would assume the series will explain this later, or at least I hope it does.

For your information, Victor did get affected by other negator abilties, he just tanked through them all and overwhelmed everyone so hard that people didn't notice it.

When Shen negated his kick and punch, you could see that Shen tried to parry them, which was a known Shen strategy where he baits opponents with an opening and then parries because they try to hit the opening and instead hit into a parry. Problem is, Victor just overwhelmed Shen so hard he couldn't even parry it, so Shen's negation still worked, but Victor just didn't care.

Same for Fuuko's unluck, because she dislikes Victor, her unluck wasn't very strong with that short moment of contact, but it still affected him: you saw his wound where the card is normally lodged ache and hurt Victor, which wasn't much, but it still showed that unluck did affect him. It was just so small and short that people (including the characters themselves) didn't notice it.

Victor is just so overwhelming that people think the negation powers didn't work.

@Xeflogna Is all that true, or just a theory? It looked as if the powers didn't work at all.

Fuko's unluck powers should still have a much more substantial affect, otherwise people she doesn't know at all should basically suffer nothing from touching her. Episode 1 when she first met Andy, her unluck powers still affected him pretty strongly & quickly. With Victhor, it was basically nothing. Not saying you're wrong, it just didn't seem that way when watching.

Also, can you explain how he suddenly has NEW powers beyond "Undead?" Is it a One Piece Blackbeard situation like I guessed in my original comment, or is it something else?
