| It's nice to see that Mika changed her behaviour towards Mitsumi and the fact that she isn't jealous of her friendship with Shima now, but understanding is really cool character development I'd say can't wait for the next episode. |

| I’m sure some of those folks hating on Egashira in the early episodes feel silly now lol, I had a feeling she’d have an episode to develop her and damn this was a nice one. She’s put in a lot of effort to get to where she is now, her personality may have been off putting but Mitsumi is out here changing everyone for the better lol, she just radiates positive vibes, and while Egashira isn’t quite a favorite of mine yet I can see she has the potential. And the 2nd half of the episode focusing on the sports matches was fun, I especially loved that last volleyball game the girls played, it’s a shame they didn’t win but I loved seeing the girls play, as well as Mitsumi’s training paying off. And lastly I’m glad Mitsumi was able to get those pickled veggies to Shima after all, it looks like Egashira had a revelation about the two of them as well, I wonder if this means she’ll stop going for Shima or not, either way loved her growth in this episode. |

| This show is so god damn cute. This was a great episode for Mika. Seeing how she was in elementary and/or middle school contextualizes a lot of why she is like how she is now, but even then that monologue at the end regarding Shima seeing something in Mitsumi shows a lot of growth. |

| Iwakura never fails to see the positives in someone and always inpires them to be their best. I'm so glad she was able to see that 'hard work' is Mika's charm and gave her relief. Mika, she's not as rude as she seems at heart and is only the way she is because of her need to fit in. |

| I'm watching this and Yamada-kun Lv999 right now, and the difference in quality here is huge. Yamada is cute but it relies on using classic tropes in unimaginative ways so I feel like I'm watching a bunch of tropes do and say what we expect them to in any given situation. The character writing in Skip & Loafer elevates it above anything like Yamada, it's clear that I'm actually watching real people interact here and the high quality character writing makes me really like all of them. Egashira is a great example and this episode took my initial distaste for her and turned it on me which really made me feel for her. I think this is clearly the best thing airing right now and I see it starting to gain recognition... IT'S SO GOOD |

| another great episode, Mitsumi did well on volleyball despite being new and she handed the tsukemono to Shima kun at the end of the episode too which was great. It seems that Egashira was fat in the past so she knows how harsh it could be to be a fat person with all the name calling and bullying they get which is why she doesn't want to eat too much junk foods it would seem |
| Mika has got to be the most relatable person. It's like I have an identity crisis and doubt for the world to accept my own existence. I feel insecure about my own body as well in the younger years and overtime, I'm able to overcome it. |
| Really good episode once again! Mitsumi is just the cutest most adorable character ever! I was glad to see her go and cheer for Shima even though she was apprehensive before. I think she realized that even though Shima has so many "fans", he still just want to be with his friends and have them be there for him. It's not about how many but who instead. So it was nice to see her not put distance between them even with the fear of being looked down upon by others. Also a lot of great character development for Mika. She was pretty unlikable in the first episodes but I had a feeling we would get some background to her that gives us context to why she is like that. Her insecurity was very obvious from the beginning but it was nice to get to know more about her and see her come to some realizations that will help her in the future. It is exhausting to live like she does, comparing yourself to everyone and pretty much disliking who you are. Mitsumi has some great influence on her and I feel like they'll be good friends in the future now that they got to discuss more straight forwardly. Mika also seems to better understand Mitsumi and not just dislike her for being close to Shima so effortlessly. Overall great episode again and I'm enjoying this so much! |

| Egashira at the least needs a hug, it's understandable how she turned out the way she did because everyone around her became popular using the same methods--she was shunned her whole childhood so she HAD to learn how to fit in. Swim or drown type beat. |

| Best feelgood anime of the season. Hands down. I wasn't expecting this series to be so enjoyable. Someone told me it was Kimi ni Todoke-esque and I can see some resemblance in a way how they characters are all interesting. Even Egashira, who isn't really my favorite, has her own reasons for being who she is (doesn't excuse how she treated Iwakura initally) but I do agree with Iwakura that Egashira is the type of person who is honest, even if that honesty isn't always welcome or needed, she'll give it to you as is. Although she is still kinda two-faced with Shima around lol |

| Our girls made it through the sports day! What a relief. Seems everyone survived, and it was a great opportunity to get to know your friends in a different environment. |

| This show isn't missing at all. Pretty good episode again. That said, Egashira continues to be the less likeable character in the group but at least we now know why she often acts like a bitch. |
| We saw the minor possibility of a love triangle in this episode, but at least Egashira seems determined not to ruin her friendships with Mitsumi or Shima, so I'm not too worried. |

| I’m enjoying this series. However, I know I’m in the minority but I kinda find Mitsumi’s over the top personality a bit annoying. She’s not a bad character by any means, but I’d rather they shift some of the focus on Sousuke or maybe shift towards a more romantic angle rather than the SOL comedy revolving her which I’m not finding that funny. Oh well, still a sweet show |
| This week we got to explore more about Egashira san's past and personality and how different she is from Mitsumi. How she has worked hard to get attention from the ones around her and change from her previous self. She learned a lot from her time with Mitsumi. The author did a good job of making her a likable character in such a short time. |
