| I'm actually surprised, this is probably the dark horse of this anime season. I was expecting it to be a copy & paste of bakarina the villanous BUT this show has a serious tone and it looks like it's going to be even better. The coloring, the background art, the OST's throughout the show was great. I have high expectations for this show. |

| I truly enjoyed this first episode! I love the art design; the backgrounds are lush and beautiful, the characters all lovely and handsome. Duke Noah is especially handsome, and, not going to lie, I'm a little envious of Raeliana, lol. I'm also loving the seiyuu cast we have for this series. Yuuichirou Umehara as Noah? Yes, please. Akira Ishida as Heika? Heck, yes. Shunichi Toki as Keith Westernberg? Spoiled rotten, and loving every second. Whoever said we romance stans are eating well this season has it absolutely right; it's a total buffet! I think this series and Loving Yamada at Lv999 are going to my faves this season. |

| I heard a bit of the dub and did not like it whatsoever. Did watch the Japanese version after and that sounded so much better than the dub, and I'm someone that's open to giving dubs a chance when casts look interesting or if shows seem like it might be more immersive with a dub instead. Rest of the episode was actually not bad in terms of adaptation compared to other Japanese anime adaptations of manhwa material a few years back, but still fairly boring to watch for me as a whole since the content itself didn't have much of a hook for me to be honest. I've seen too many similar series to this over the past few years to dampen expectations as a whole and the first episode did not set the world on fire for me so I'll see how the rest goes. Animation's stiff but for a series like this, it's not a huge dealbreaker for me. |
| I sort of feel bad for the protagonist's fiance, it feels more like they are becoming the character in their novel not because of who they were initially (aka behavior or personalities) but because of the pressure placed on them by other external parties. |

| I’ve known the name of this series for a long time but didn’t know anything past that, and I was surprised to see it in the Spring 2023 lineup but you know I couldn’t skip this one, especially with how I’ve hit pretty much every show of this genre up to this point lol, and damn what a great start. So Raeliana was fucked over randomly in her previous life and now she’s in a book she’s read before where the character she now lives as is destined to die, it’s a setup we’ve seen before but I thought the execution was really well done here, I loved all the bits where Raeliana kept trolling her fiancé lol, she probably could have gotten away with “accidentally” shooting him in the woods but then we wouldn’t have this fun situation with Noah at the end of the episode. And I’m a big fan of Raeliana’s design, very pretty and elegant, classical as well, one of the coolest parts of these series set in this time period is the classical looks and Raeliana nails it. And the art was really nice in a lot of scenes, very tasty screenshot material. And what a damn good OP and ED, the OP by MindaRyn I recognize from her OP for Tensura Season 2 Part 2 and I absolutely loved that one and this one is another slapper, and the ED was very sweet and I can’t wait to hear it again. It’s also interesting to know this is originally a manhwa and some slight changes were made in the anime, it doesn’t seem detrimental tho. Definitely looking forward to more of this one! |
| nice first episode, kinda similar to the first episode of yamada-kun lv999, where the chick picks a new mn on the spot and the guy plays along with it. i like both shows so it's a win-win for me. i like the art style a lot, seems much like shoujo but i'm down for it, let's see where this goes. |

| Yayy, been looking forward to this adaptation, glad to finally see the manhwa animated! One of the few manhwa isekai where I actually like the female lead. Weird to see two romance shows in the same season where the female lead has a stranger pretend to be her lover, but thankfully this one didn't make me pause the show out of embarrassment for the female lead since Raeliana had a good reason for doing so. I like the transitions in the beginning between her past self and her current self as Raeliana, but for the rest, something about the transitions between scenes feel kinda off....not sure how to feel about the way the "comedy" is executed either. But otherwise, pretty decent first episode. The studio nailed down the art style for sure, I especially love the way the eyes are drawn. Another romance show to add to my list, looking forward to the next episode! |

| Making up a relationship on the spot and hoping the Duke plays along also seems a little dangerous, but at the same time so is the rest of Raeliana's life so she might as well roll the dice. |

| A unique spin on the female-centric isekai formula that has been popular recently. Most "villainess reborn" stories have the MCs death as a climactic event that the heroine has all season(s) to prepare and plan for. But Raeliana's death is supposed to be the novel's inciting incident, which means that Rinko has the potential to take events further off track that usual. It would be fun to see a story like this that went more "off-rails", where the MC had to rely more on her knowledge of the world and the characters (their personalities, motivations, etc) than her knowledge of the plot points. Raeliana's failed attempts to end her engagement were frustrating to me at first because I kept thinking, "She knows about the poisoning plot! She must know Brooks will stay engaged to her, or his scheme will fail!" But then I realized the point of the montage was that she didn't think of it that way. Even though she has a wealth of knowledge about this world and its people and events, she hasn't quite figured out how to use it. She hasn't completely acclimated to her surroundings yet - both because she's been reborn from another world, and because of her family's newly elevated status. And she's still young and naive as a person. Hopefully this story will show her growing and coming into her own, learning how to use the knowledge that she has to best those around her at their own game. This is a different take from many "reborn" stories I've seen where the MC is already adept at political maneuvering. I hope it will be a positive change. I like the concept of Noah. Scandalous black-sheep royals are always fun. And what's more fun is that he seems to be playing both sides: currying favor with the conservative nobels while (possibly?) encouraging the capitalists and noveau-riche from the shadows. We know from Raeliana that there's definitely more to him than meets the eye, so I'm excited to see what secrets he has up his sleeve. I was pleasantly surprised to see Raeliana make a move so early in the game, and equally happy to see Noah take interest. It was a very rewarding end to an episode of groundwork. I won't lie - I got shivers when Noah put his hand on Raeliana's shoulder. I'm interested in what the novel's heroine's role will be like, now that events have changed. How and when will she be introduced, since Raeliana lives in this timeline? Will she still be an ally or an antagonist in Raeliana's quest? I surmise that she and Noah were love interests in the novel - will we have a love triangle to contend with? So many possibilities. The animation is a bit simplistic, but I do like the color palette and the lighting. The backgrounds were pleasant to look at and Raeliana's outfits and overall character design were well done. All the characters fit well in the world and had believable chemistry. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone more fleshed-out. I thought both voice casts did well. My only dislike was Ian Sinclair as Noah. I didn't think he had the right voice type for the part, especially compared to Yuichiro Umehara. But maybe his performance will grow on me. All-in-all, a promising first episode. I'm looking forward to next week! |

| What more can I ask for? THIS ANIME HAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT! CHARACTERS USE THEIR DARN ORGAN PRESENT BELOW THEIR CRANIUM IN SKULL!! Girl managed to get past the exact barrier which kills me, girl managed to sign a deal with the devil (duke). Man, this got that sweet calm vibe which portrays the calmness before the tsunami. Lovely! |

| Looks very interesting and intriguing, I like this two-faced dynamic already. The only thing that bothered me is that someone just pushed her like that. I won't complain if it has some significance to the story, but if it's just random then even a truck-kun would be better, because I don't think random people just randomly push people from the bridges, it looks purposeful. The only reason I could think of is that someone was jealous of her for getting into University and wanted the spot for themselves. If it isn't the case and there was no reason, it would be simply irritating because this made me think about it when it probably doesn't matter at all and won't be important to the story anyway... |

| I thought this would be your average isekai romance, but it's really well written! I like that she has no special power or excessive plot armor, just knowledge and her own clever desperation. She has brains and that makes her is relatable for real women. Her love interest is also clever which is refreshing and his voice is like silk~ I love devious male leads! Power couple incoming! I'm used to bad Isekai like I'm the Villainess so I'm Taming the Finals Boss or the second season of My Next Life is a Villainess. |

| Finished the manhwa about a hour ago and loved it very much...was hoping that they don't mess up the anime And it hasn't disappointed me. The artstyle is the exactly same as the manhwa, animation is also good. They kept Noah as handsome as ever. They didn't skip any important interaction yet but letz see what the future eps hold. Op and ending were great. Liked Noah's voice very much but thought that Rae's voice would be more mature but whateves itz still good Have high expectations for this one |

| It's not literally an otome game isekai, but it'd be nice if they could think more outside the box than fated to die and a two faced prince. The small variations on the tropes highlight more how bizarrely married to them these series are. |
