Pretty cool episode. Bit corny at times as MHA tends to be but tolerable. Also very neat to see Deku nodiff a villain as powerful as Muscular, shows hes grown to become at this point probably one of the strongest few shown active characters of the series.

I do wish the muscular fight had more actual fighting and less inner monologue strategising and Id prefer if the atmosphere was a bit darker in the lighting and background to suit the plot atmosphere but oh well. Still the best mha season

Deku's vigilante look on him is pretty cool, I must admit. The way that he was using his powers to help the other high school heroes when they encountered Muscular was nice. Not only that, but he made Muscular look so damn weak in their rematch, which showcased Deku's strengths really well, helped by a new prototype item that helps him to use his powers more without lasting damage, though not at 100%.

Gran Torino's words of wisdom was spot on, too. Deku's beliefs are admirable and should be respected. Having said that, there does come a time where the best choice you can make is one that you would do anything to avoid unless all possible options have been exhausted. Hopefully Deku has taken Gran Torino's words to heart and, if left with no other option, I hope he commits to this without hesitation.

Once again, this was a really good episode. I do look forward to seeing more of Lady Nagant and what she's capable of, since she's only appeared once for a few seconds so far this season.

Muscular got defeated in an instant. Deku's not the same he once knew back from season 3. Muscular is a lost case still craving for blood and flesh, a dangerous beast.

Great episode by the way! So excited to see Lady Nagant in action next week :D

Damn, that’s a heck of a team made right there!

Midoriya’s grown a lot now, saving the heroes and taking down a slightly weaker version of Muscular without too much sweat. He has really grown and it’s nice to finally see him taking charge. Must be lonely though, the ED better be showing signs of what’s to come with his classmates joining him in his endeavour or something of the sort.

Seeing his mother in tears really hurt, it must be so difficult for her to accept things as they’re now but she definitely feels there’s no stopping him now either. All Might in tears was a surprise too. Solid advice from Gran Torino, let’s see what transpires in the end, but personally it seems like killing Shigatsu is the only possibility now.

Lady Nagant next episode, it should be interesting. Appeared in the Op for a bit, hoping that’ll be the one of the big fights, if not the biggest, in this latter half of the season.

Actually a super sick episode. I'm telling you I forgot how much I loved this arc, but Dark Deku has to be the sickest character design in the entire series. Watching him kick Muscular's ass without a fucking second break was dope as shit, especially remembering how he struggled the first time around.

Lady Nagant finally enters the scene next episode, I'm excited for more sick shots of Dark Deku. Finally enjoying this show lawl.

Another awesome episode, 5/5 episode for sure, man this season is fire.

The best episode so far is Allmight vs AFO, it was the peak of this franchise and no episode will surpass it but this anime has some really good episodes too and this is one of those really good episodes.

I upped the rating of this season from 8/10 to 9/10, I've always given the previous seasons an 8/10 but this is the first season that actually got a 9/10 from me so yeah, this is good shit.

they had 0 explanation why muscular's fibers began to unwind and if they did, then it was incoherent. what a boring fight to be honest.

Why does all might look like he got mad drip in his leather jacket and sun glasses while society crumbles around him lol

i guess we got the convo between the float user and her yellow midget husband. if they butchered it so bad they may as well keep it off screen tbh

I'm reading the manga but I don't remember this part in the manga well, however, as far as I remember the manga made it seem like the Vibration quirk from the previous guy did it, it didn't happen suddenly but the damage was already there.

In the anime this wasn't so obvious, I didn't get the impression that it happened with the Vibration quirk so something about the subs I had felt off here but that's ok, I still loved this episode.

Edit:

Turns out I was right, I watched this episode with a really shitty sub, my subs said in that part:

"Did you train with Vibrate without noticing?"

This made absolutely no fucking sense and was dumb so yeah, it was just a shitty sub so you probably watched it with that shitty sub too. In another sub this part actually says:

"Or was it because of Shindo's vibration from earlier?"

This one makes way more sense so it's a better sub.

Solid episode. It sets up the darker, more gritty feel for this part very well while laying the groundwork for Deku to become more cold/detached for the sake of his family and friends. Geting to see Deku using more of the powers fluidly fits in very well with all the theming of tactics overcoming sheer brute force, which is completely exemplified by the battle against Muscular being quick and dirty.

Haven't read the manga, but I'm very interested to see if Deku has to make the hard choice that Gran Torino alludes to of "killing for the sake of saving someone". The emotional and psychological fallout that would ensue from that kind of event and how it would be explored with his character—how he comes out of it—is prime real estate. Even just the underlying feeling of the internal battle between who Deku wants to be and who he would potentially have to be is juicy and is a good undercurrent that is already palpable.

Nice AD work with the thick lines during the confrontation of Muscular and the vibrator hero. That one cut with Deku smashing Muscular did look good, but other than that, it was fine. Nagant fight, hopefully is getting the priority treatment.

Deku's power has grown tremendously since his last fight. He took out that muscle head like it was nothing. Muscle head was right now, this is boring Deku took him out with little effort. Not even because he knew of his power before hand, Deku has a huge arsenal of powers to choose from. Building up on each other like tools just like the smokescreen hero said.

Looking forward to the next episode. A lady assassin and I love her design.

AH...

So the other parts of the world also have Hero things going on.

Since All Might ordered special bracers for Midoriya from America. (cause it looked like all support items seems to be local made)

Tho... I still wonder... this whole Hero thing and losing support of people... are they just Japan only? or actually the whole world?

Cause the incident happened just in Japan... does it actually affect the "whole world?" Cause you don't see any other parts of the world making news or rioting about it at all, it's literally just people in Japan.

Not to mention, if it actually affects the whole world, wouldn't the rest of the world bring in their top Heroes to bring down All-For-One? Cause I am pretty sure if their world's similar to our Real World, they would have Intel on AFO and OFA long ago. But is the world just literally just standing by and watch while leaving the whole incident to just Japan?

___ ___ ___

Feels like Japan's the "Hero Show" of the world. Where all the biggest hero and villain things all happen only in Japan...

(plus, All Might is suppose to be "America Style" hero... but he literally only do hero stuff just in Japan... basing on all the flashbacks we've seen of All Might, every single one was in Japan) (you would think All Might would be "America's Hero") lol.

___ ___ ___

Well, it looks like Deku's growing and getting stronger with the help of predecessors that apparently can now talk to him in Real Time (and not in Dream World).

So, Deku's pretty much now the old "Batman/ Spiderman" that goes around doing Hero stuff without official authorizations. Hmm...

Good catch. I remember it vaguely being described in the manga. I understand thematically why they wanted the vibration guy's attack to have a delayed impact, but at this point quirks just interact with each other in random ways. That guy had no meaningful contribution other than having the citizens come back. They could have had Deku do his role and it would be fine.

We are now entering the deliciously undercooked part of the manga RIP

This anime has plenty of fodder characters so I guess they wanted to give Shindo and the other girl a bit of screentime to make us remember that they exist or something so they were simply Deku's fodder to make him look good but hey, at least his Vibration quirk helped in defeating Muscular easier because that Muscular dude won't go down that easily, I mean, he is able to tank a 100% Deku's punch with no issue and now a 40% punch was able to defeat him in a single hit?

So let's give Shindo a bit of credit at least, shall we? :)

Deku matured a lot, and the fight with Muscular really proved it. The way he prevented damage by fighting him along the river, and using only 45%, not going all out. It really shows how he is capable of bringing out the best in his situation and staying calm when it's crucial.

If he was, we wouldn't have felt the same enjoyment we feel now. It just goes to show his growth as a character. From the quirkless guy with notebooks to now defeating dangerous villains with ease. He has grown up a lot.

Midoriya's change can't be unseen and I'm not saying this in a bad way. The latest confrontation with Shigaraki/All for One as well as his conversation with the predecessor's of One for All definitely created an even bigger change within him.

At first I had no real idea what the violet smokescreen was about and where it came from. So that's the sixth's quirk, interesting. Like the sixth mentioned shortly after, Midoriya still has a lot to learn about how to handle the quirks of the other predecessor's. From what I can tell so far, it seems like Midoriya got a good hang on float, black whip and danger sense with smokescreen in good progress. With the support item from america he now is even able to use One for All at 45%, which is a huge jump. With that there was no way Muscular could stand any chance. Such an overwhelming defeat which shows the difference of Midoriya in S3 and now in S6.

This has to be one of greatest poses in holding a phone I've ever seen lol.

Oh. So the yellow scarf is from Gran Torino. From the first time I've seen the new OP I wasn't quite sure where get parts of his costume from, but this explains it. I love the team up with Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist and All Might. From the last episode kinda expected but still great. At some points it was quite noticeable how much more All Might wants to help, but simply can't.

Next episode we'll finally get introduced to the lady from the OP. I'm already excited to see where this will go. Looking forward to next week.
