I'm glad they changed up the format a little this episode. It kept me from getting bored. It's nice to see them use previous characters in other episodes such as the the guy from the movie club.

And the people roaming these forums are dropping like flies... Me? I'm loving it and the concept isn't tiring at all, though it could possibly become repetitive if the entire series goes like this.

Cute episode, loved his "basket bike" Manami. The flight scene was classy as well.

Another misguided way waste two years, but he actually tried to improve this time and not go around sabotaging others bitterly, at least compared to previous times. He even starts, in a way, to forget he was joining the club just to realize his naive, misguided dream and was convinced that obtaining happiness through anything other than hard work would be shameful. In the end it's still the same misguided passion like every time, but less malicious.

First he'd let Akashi pedal for him out of pity. Then he wants to pedal for Akashi. And in the end she's aiming for his raven haired dream girl again :D He really can't settle for anything for a man in such pathetic state.

I get the impression that the author is trying to tell us that it is our own selves that influence our life events.

Watashi keeps asking "who is the one responsible" and at first I thought it was Ozu's bad influence but in this run through, Ozu didn't have much of an influential role. However, he does keep repeating "No matter what you do, you'll end up like this" or something along those lines.

It seems to me that the author is trying to convey to us that the circumstances can change the means but not the end result.

Well, despite Watashi continuing to end up in the same situation things do seem to be getting increasingly positive for him.

At first, he joined the tennis circle and when that didn't work out he went straight to sabotaging the happiness of others with Ozu. Next, was the film circle but when things went bad there he first tried to make his own films before turning to tactics like slandering the club president. And this time around, he did not willing indulge in such negative behavior but rather tried to better himself and be more helpful to the Birdman club... of course it did not work out but at least he tried.

Anyway, another good episode - and I forgot to mention this back on my episode 1 post but I really like the ED.

This anime is simply amazing. Another exhilariating episode made my day. I soo pity the main character who doesn't even have a name and has multiple lives, with each of them ending badly for him.

The twisted plot is simply brilliant.

Of course deserves 5/5. Without a question. I wonder what will happen next.

excellent episode :)

that's really fucked up on how Watashi spent 2 years building a cycle only to be stolen out of fucking nowhere.

and wow that old fortune teller keeps raising the price every time XD

so the roles can change, like how Jougasaki is now a helper of watashi :P

and wow Watashi can't even stay idle like he always do whenever it is in the right time.

Akashi in biker gear is awesome!!

shame if only Watashi didn't become an idiot and just stayed the way he is.

and why the hell didn't he removed the clothes Ozu put on to him? he's such a pansy.

i feel like Akashi is giving him all the chance he can get, but doesn't have the guts to finally take it.

just do her promise and man up for once!

can't wait for more scenarios and episodes!

more Akashi!!!

Yea i definitely agree. As long as you dont change the way you act the outcome will stay the same despite the circumstances.

So it seems he has failed again.
This is becoming kind of depressing, that moment when the key chain thing floated away was sad
It was still a great episode, very entertaining, I'm loving this series so far

At the end of each episode the main character is full of regret due to feeling like he's wasted these last two years of his life because he picked the wrong club. In each episode he picks a different club and screws up yet again each time. Then there's the fact that he fails to confess to Akashi and keep his promise every single time : /

Damn that Ozu, he didn't have to be a dick like that, still like him though, I see the relationship between the MC and Akashi is getting closer. It's nice to see the same set of characters playing different roles on each episode. I wonder if it continues the plane story or a different one on the next episode, and how they do it in the same timeline.

Noticed that the moth scene didn't appear this time. Ozu has also become a straight up villain but boob-obsessed man by contrast seems a lot nicer to the mc
"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."

The MC's bike was taken away.

He entered the Cycling Club but it was more like a Working Out Club.

He gained muscles, but after that he couldn't be a pilot anymore.

I think I finally can see where this series wants to go to.
There are similiarities between every episode, you could almost say each episode is a full reset of the MC choices he made on college.

Along that Ozu seems to be a metaphor for the MC lazyness and slack, his negative emotions of not waiting to do anything... then you have Akashi that seems to be the polar oposite in a way, the light that shines on the MC that motivates him to keep going.

After what I said above, I think anyone can join 2 + 2 and see where this is going towards, and I quite like this direction myself.

I dont want to call it like each episode the world is reseting since some stuff seem to carry over from previous episodes, but it is clear each episode is trying to show out the choices available to the MC and the results from his decisions.
