Things are alright, I suppose, although I maintain that the first two of the Four Noble Truths are rather universal. I digress; anime and me seemingly had a break up awhile ago, I commit so much time to writing, reading, and music, that even video games have been punted a bit. What have you been up to?

I knew Viz did license it, but I didn't know that resulted in every site taking it down. My recent re-read of it was of the volumes, since I bought it (I obviously won't tell you to do that since you don't know if you like it yet). Maaaaybe mangatown or S2S's scans page has it.

I'm actually reading Sanctuary. The site I found numbers them fucking strange, so that's why my progress isn't on here. I really like it. It's more political drama than crime procedural, which is super rare in manga.

It's a good read. I was really surprised with how much I liked it, and now I like it so much that I'm really pumped for the anime.

I see you've got Blue Exorcist on your list now. Like I said, that's also a great one. It starts off, admittedly, as somewhat generic, but it becomes really really good, especially with the most recent arc.

Hey there! Thanks. I've been submitting a lot of stories this year to lit mags and the like. No luck so far, but I've had one editor say my story was very close. So I'll keep plugging away. It's long odds; most places have acceptance rates <1%. Guess the key is not getting too defeated.

It's interesting; when I first wrote the story, I kind of liked it, now looking back, there are several others I have I wish I would have submitted in its place. Que sera sera!

Yeah, there seems to be no easy win. Such is life, I guess, decisions with ramifications we may not understand at the time. It's hard to imagine life in 40 days much less 40 years.

I work only with people twice my age or greater. Most of them are ok people. But there's definitely a barrier. I'm not hanging out with them or talking to them during spare time. One reason I think I miss school is because it sometimes forced dialogue with young adults, and I am a big fan of young adults/the youth. It's frustrating how people grow apart as we all age.

Do you have any plans for when you do retire?
