| Kelvin is growing fine and all, promoted to Rank E from a Rank F adventurer status with his summoning power that's a fast track to more powerful monsters and getting noticed by adventurers alike. And Cashel definitely has that bad boy feel whom has a notoriety for his antics, which Kelvin is able to discern through his appraisal skills. What better way to recruit than to have a duel, and this is a good chance for Kelvin to test his skills against someone who is a sinister murderer...which he did with Clotho being a Devourer Slime Gluttonia. Time for the Blackghost Knight Gerard, in his full 3DCG stance...which is Ok at best. But the fight between the two in full 3DCG, this ain't some fighting video game, which really question the minds of who's trying to infuse Rooster Teeth RWBY-like jarring animation. Oh well, that's one quest down also, and helping to rid Cashel and his gang reaps prosperity for all. Umm...this already looks like dogshit...and we're not even at the 3-episode mark yet. |

| Well good to know the pg13 tag is on - instead of bisecting the newbie hunter he "caught him with a rope" instead. Oh and they still get the death penalty, just not onscreen. Art was surprisingly good.... untl the cgi showed up. There was an attempt made for it to look okay but... it stayed as an attempt. |
| Turned into a video game cutscene during the fight against Gerard. I would've been totally fine but, I wish they could've done so much more with the action since they went full CGI anyways. But the battle sadly still concluded in a very basic way. 1st episode made it seem like it's gonna be a tiny bit different kind of Isekai. This episode felt otherwise. |

| Another good episode imo, it was especially pleasant to see him destroying these three thugs now that his slime evolved into that legendary form and we got a full CGI fight against that Gérard knight, of course I was sure people would be complaining about the CGI but I personally liked it, it looked like a game cutscenes fight and that's not something we usually see with this kind of CGI, anyway now that's another member in his team, great! |

| The protagonist's personality is kind of annoying and I really don't like how they just completely glossed over the leveling/strengthening process. All in all a pretty generic showing with nothing in particular to recommend it. |

| Wow, you know, I'm not one to bash 3d anime or CG in anime for special effects etc. But that fight scene. That's literally the main thing that stands out to me. Switching from 2d to a cell shaded 3d felt really jarring. It's not the 3d I have a problem with it's the switching between 2d and 3d so blatantly it's distracting |

| Gerard is the first interesting thing in this isekai. Also I really don't like the style of the MC, that magic earpiece is so weird and I hate this kind of necklace but then that's personal taste. Let's not talk about the cgi for the battle, I mean the monsters / armors ok I get it... but I wasn't expecting the MC himself to be cgi LOL |

| Kelvin off screening his battle with Cashel and company was funny. Clotho's evolution is definitely interesting. I'm half surprised they didn't turn into another anime girl. What a ferocious slime form fitting its legendary rank! I thought the CGI animation was also decent, it might have been a different style then the 2D animation but it was still done well. Gerard is definitely a great addition to the party of folks chatting in Kelvins mind. |

Ah, maybe that's what the intent was and if it is, that fits with it being an isekai of a world that's a lot like a video game. Still, while I'm not against CGI in anime? It's just not really my thing. Mostly cause I find it a bit jarring to blend different styles of animation together.

| @GHWolfKing watch: Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells there is so much cgi in that series i was surprised :D i want to see what comes next but i hope they tune down the cg (i mean see less cg in next season if they continue it), cause how much cg they used turned me off lol |
