The thread's discussion will get derailed so I'm replying here. Explaining ID Invaded would be very tough because of the writing style of the creator. Just watching the first episode will give you an idea but the basic style of the writer.
Just some points -
The protagonist and the audience both start with the same amount of info at the beginning. The release of the exposition is done in a way, you don't get the whole info but instead you get it in small pockets of information according to how the protagonist interacts with various things/persons. now, this isn't anything special because a lot of anime also does similar things but what puts this above others for me is every time a set of information is released, it feels like we get sufficient information leading us to a certain understanding of the "temporary world" at that particular situation and this perspective about the world keeps on expanding as the episode progresses because of those interactions. The episode is written in a way which makes the story progress only when you get those exposition but it is written in a way to not make you feel like that. Even when we get info dumps in certain situations at the end, it's mixed with various other information and the current situation of the plot to not make it feel forced. Add into that, the director Ei Aoki, most of his works are saturated with long exposition dumps and he tries his best to make the scenes visually appealing like the long walk cycles in Fate/Zero and the extra focus he puts into the characters in Kara No Kyokai. But this is the anime where his storyboards and they way the 3d camera is moved, also takes part in revealing new information about the world [It's very hard to explain but it's like a semi-POV shot but not quite what you'd expect from a POV shot]. Unfortunately, the overall production isn't really a standout. Now, it's an episodic anime so not every episode is going to be of the same quality, I know that a lot of people hate episodic anime, so the appeal is also going to be limited because of that. There's also apparently a manga which is like a sequel(?) to the TV season.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
