| Man, Schaal still doesn't get it, Hanks has to kill them Incarnates cu'z they're no longer in their right minds and just like rabid dog they now have to be exterminated....so , new character Captain Claude, either he becomes Hanks ally or he kills Hank....and WTF Cain was still making incarnates. |

| And here I thought Schaal would be a brave and clever woman... such a shame she ended up being so useless. Also, I wonder if anyone in the studio actually thought that Liza's terrible character design could cause some problems during the "serious/tense" scenes... I mean, with such design, I couldn't take anything she said seriously... Overall, it was another weak episode but at least, it wasn't as rushed as the previous two and the resemblance to the Minotaur's labyrinth myth was kinda nice as well. |

| Can I just say how boring these characters are? I found the idea of hank not transforming into a complete beast fighting vs actual beast somewhat interesting but him having a complete transformation now makes the fights even less interesting in my opinion. The only thing that holds this show up for me is the animation right now the fights look cool. |

| I bet it’s Elaine’s body in the tank there in the end and looks like the betrayer is up to no good. A pretty fine episode, overall though. Looks like there’s a special Beast Killing elite group too and the Capt. there seems to hold a grudge against these Beasts for whatever reason. On the other hand, Liza seems to be well aware of these Beasts and working with Hank for the time being. I’m really curious how he feels during the onslaughts too but it’s definitely nothing sweet for sure. Damn, that Beast was really formidable though, how’d he manage to make up that huge fortress plus those traps all by himself? Schaal was utterly useless this episode and here’s to hoping we get to see more of her usefulness in the coming episodes. |

| Kinda felt sorry for minotaur dude. Hank said he was a coward but boy died in Hank's arms after a fierce fight. I like that Hank is a werewolf, he kinda looks werewolfish even as a human. :( Next week is behemoth and he's giving off similar vibes to the dragon. They big but they cute. |

| It looks like a lot of people don't get that this anime is in an episodic format at the moment so it's normal that the plot is slow-pacing. I actually really liked those first 3 episodes that do their job when it comes to relays the apprehension of war and its result on soldiers' mental health, and the feels are here (thanks to the nice soundtrack). However, the only thing I dislike about this anime for the moment is the writing of Schaal that is not so deep and is oftenly ridiculous. Basically, I feel like its gonna end up in my top 5 seasonal anime. |
There's like 2 or 3 times in this episode where Schaal tries to protect Hank or worries about him. It's just really dumb. She fired a bullet at him. He killed her father and she wants him dead, and she's shown that she is willing to kill him because she shot him. It's just dumb writing. |
| Schaal is waifu but errr... Showers while a thing wasn't common in households until the 1930s in the US. The civil war ended in 1865, even if we assume a decade past, it still doesn't really make much sense for her to shower instead of preparing a bath as would be the norm in that time period. BUT it's a fictional world so who knows. This is one of the weakest death scene. The other two were more emotional. The fight was however better. I liked how this episode tackled a bit of the fear during combat and how one cope with it. I still find Liza's character design to be a bit out of place and unsure her role in the story as of yet. I want Schaal to play a bigger role and hope this story don't become episodic monster of the week. |

| A nice fortress. I would want one of those lol. Other than that, that "lightly" dressed woman, Elaine was it, has some big bazookas, which is nice, I just wished she'd dressed more properly, but oh well, fan service it is. |

| episode 3, dropped. Episode 1 was good and had me intrigued, episode 2 started going downhill when the girl went after him in the end. This episode is even worse. What the hell is her purpose? why is she even in this story? she contributes nothing to the plot and is a hindrance. This is Hank's story. I don't see how she can play a part in it unless she's supposed to be his love interest? Though she's just a teen and he's an older military guy? That makes it even worse. The plot can also need some polishing. What kind of military personnel would allow a teenage girl to enter a place full of unknown and deadly traps with a murderous serial killing monster in it? And the backstory of "villain of the week" can also be shown more clearly. We barely even know this blond guy so seeing him fight Hank and losing ? (idk i couldn't even finish the eps cause i was so bored) couldn't make me care for him any more. And when Hank appears to lose and the enemy was about to do the finishing blow, instead of panicking that he'll die and she can't do anything, why doesn't the girl use that FUCKING SHOTGUN ON HER BACK AND SHOOT THE MOTHERFUCKER!??? Is that weapon just for show!?? USE IT GODDAMMIT! |
| Damn Schaal is stupid. She needs to understand the situation more. What the hell is her purpose? Also, is this gonna turn into a "Incarnate hunt of the week" type of show ? More shirtless Hank PLS 😍 (except when he is in his werewolf from, I'm not a furry lol). This show is trash except for the male fanservice. |
