| this anime is really unique production wise. i mean that in today's episode we say the introduction of May von Earlshide, and pretty much the consensus is that her voice is pretty off. i've seen some comments on other forums saying that she's voiced by a vocaloid. no, she's voiced by a real human, but who (i'm pretty sure) is new to the industry. she's one of them vtuber's, virtual youtubers. Here's her channel. And here's some confirmation, though i couldn't find the exact article it was sourced from sorz. So May's seiyuu is a vtuber who is relatively unknown (who vids are usually under 1k views) i mean considering the production crew's other decision to allow a fan-made ending go through a couple of episodes ago, it doesn't surprise me. remember that random ending with a mmd (miku miku dance) model dancing to the ending song, whose model didn't look like anyone from the show and seemed to be just doing a piggyback ride of the chika dance? yeah, apparently the production crew respected the fan that made it (since he made it for the show or something) and decided to give the go-ahead to make it temporarily the ending. i, for one, cannot wait to see what weird action they'll take next. will we see a weird 'my sister, my writer' turn where the anime goes near hentai scene out of nowhere (tho, they did it in the ova, but it still felt out of left field), or maybe something like 'mekaku actors' where we'll get some laughably bad cgi in the show itself? heck, i'll respect if they go a 'lucky stars' route and have some IRL actors come in at the ending and do a cover of a famous anime song. |

| So they finally became a couple but they didn't get to bump uglies and fuck because their stereotypical Anime friends had to eavesdrop on them. The only way this series would be saved is if Sicily has a sex scene. Nothing else. It's irredeemable at this point. Ngl, Ellie's pretty hot too. I wouldn't mind seeing Aug bone her. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Aug and Shin go at it either since his little sister seems to ship them too. Forgot to mention, Shin's grandma is the hottest. Wouldn't mind seeing her and all the girls in an orgy. |

And yet another disappointing and lame episode, i probably will finish this anime since it's too late anyway to drop it when it's so close to finish, but i won't touch anything related to it in the future because i had enough.. |

Usually a mangaka or light novelist that is pouring their heart and hard work into making a series that they can enjoy and that people can enjoy reading (even if they may lack in talent or creativity, they still try). The fact that they often come up as seeming "generic" is because of cultural saturation; it's on more peoples' minds, it's in more demand, so more of those types of stories get adapted into anime because they're deemed to be able to at least cover production costs, and hopefully make some profit for the sake of the studio to make more shows people want. |

| Wow. Even little sisters aren't safe from having a boob window in their design. Anyway, this series seems to just keep adding everything that could possibly tick me off. Every episode just adds worse situations. This show is just plain embarrassing in every way for me. And gosh, the whole "Wuhh, you always talk about Shin" scene with the fiancee was just... look, you're not going to appeal to that group, so you might as well not even try. These characters are so uninteresting that there's no use in shipping them anyway. You can't try to pull the, "Let's appeal to the male/male shippers for maybe a second or two for the sake of comedy" trope when NO ONE CARES and you've already established that one of the characters really likes crappy blue-hair girl. Plus, there was nothing really funny about that scene. Also, ShinxAugust is a terrible ship in the first place. Get out of here with that. Heck, every ship is a terrible ship. May's voice didn't bother me as much as everything else going on. I didn't even see the problem mostly because I have no idea how old she is in the first place. I assumed "early teen as of like yesterday", so her voice seemed fine to me. Plus like, if she's any younger than that, this show is just disgusting. Why are you going to throw a tit window on a child 12 years or younger? Nobility at that?? It makes no sense and gosh these character designs are just awful either way. Fetish keeps taking over practicality and it really makes me not want to get involved in the world of this story seriously. And a question to ask is, does the show WANT to be taken seriously? Sadly, it seems it does. Sure, it'll throw some humor in a lot of the time, but it does seem like it wants to be taken at least semi-seriously, so that's what bothers me the most. They probably could have taken out the serious element and maybe they would have been fine. Sure, they spend a lot of time "training", but I swear a lot of it just feels like they're messing around despite their progress. It could have just been an action comedy anime though, but that requires way stronger characters than what we've been given. We literally have characters who stand in the background and just kinda make reaction faces without saying anything. They would have to have way stronger comedic points than that to make it work, and I think that's why they've been using the serious element as a crutch. Honestly just...?? I messed up. I shouldn't have given this series a try. I'm in too deep now though and only have four episodes left. Might as well finish it. It's fine. Gotta watch bad things to fully appreciate good things. |

According to LN readers(which is the source material)the show edges toward being laid back and the comedy so not really something to be taken seriously. So when looking at the series as a whole, it just seems like it would be difficult to bring back that serious aspect seamlessly since, as you said, they ARE focusing more on making everything laid-back. I'm not really sure why they would go that route. Writing isn't this show's strong point, so I have no idea how they're going to make that work. |

| Finally, the confession.... >_<, too bad they disrupt the kiss tho hahaha. They development progress and act quite remind me of one of my favorites ship IkkixStella :3. This is my Favorite episode so far, Loved the romantic moments, the gag and lighthearted jokes in this one, they are all so frickin adorable not just ShinxSicily even AugustxEllie too haha. After treadmill, now Shin also bring volleyball tho, that was an extraordinary volleyball play tho haha. And the final scene likes... finally Shin get labeled as a pervert. |

| So the two are officially a couple eh. I like how the MC confronts and declares his love to her. He's not dense like other Harem and Non-harem MCs. And its in the middle of the episode. I find this refreshing. I feel bad about Maria being left out thou. Or she could be Shin's girlfriend #2. I like her better than Sicily, since she has better personality. |

| Must admit that this anime has Leveled Up now. Nothing is more annoying than anime where the dense MC keep their pretendents in the same cringe situation forever. That reunion of eavesdroppers calling "FINALLY!" is what thousands of anime should have about their main couples. And luckly Kenja no Mago is comedic, otherwise in the next episode Cicily would be killed or anything... |

| It does feel kinda weird watching beyond what I’ve seen after all these years, but at the same time it feels good since I won’t have to keep thinking about where this show went after I fell off of it lol. And to think I stopped right before the episode where Shin and Sicily finally hit it off, I could have easily seen them continuing the whole “Sicily says something sus and Shin gets flustered” thing to the end of the show so if’s nice to see, although I still think their romance is too random. And it was incredibly obvious everyone was hiding around for the big moment, so many shows do that, but at the same time they do kinda deserve to see it after how much they’ve seen them do their thing. We also got introduced to two new characters, Aug’s fiancé Elizabeth and his sister May, didn’t even know they existed until now lol, I like the addition of them both tho as they had good moments in this episode, including May getting suffocated by Elizabeth’s boobs lol. And I thought May’s VA sounded a little strange, looks like it’s her only VA role and she’s a VTuber, but I’ll say it did grow on me and I do kinda like it, it’s a shame she didn’t get more roles after this. And lastly it’s wild how this was not only the confession episode, but also a beach episode, I really stopped before the best stuff huh lol, they even played an extreme version of beach volleyball which was kinda interesting. And lastly that last bit where Shin got caught in 4K was pretty funny, only thing I found odd about it tho was Melinda being all strict for no reason, I thought this was Shin’s training camp. Actually a pretty fun episode, I wonder if I had watched this in 2019 would I have been reeled back in and kept it going, but really I never dropped it in the first place, just kinda procrastinated and forgot about it lol. |
