| I don't get it. This show is amazing yet they keep using fan service even though it feels completely out of place. Shizuku seems cool and yea she's pretty but do you have to put her in an indecent situation every episode? Show's good but I keep rolling my eyes when they put fan service for no reason :/ |

| This series is moving fast but hey we want Tatara to be amazing by episode 25 so it has to. I am seriously enjoying this series and the length it goes to break what people would associate with ballroom dancing. This episode was a rollercoaster ride with me being mesmerized by the animation during the latina portions, waiting with bated breath for Hyoudou to return but realizing that he was too injured too, and panicking when Tatara who knows nothing but the basic waltz has to take his place. This episode had the perfect balance of suspense, obligatory commentating for the people who know nothing of dancing, and confusing rivalry. the only issue I have with this episode is the ending when Hyoudou repeatedly says "give it back" I have a vague idea what he meant but I feel as if it gave the pair a rivalry and I am looking forward to that and the *sigh* obligatory shipping that will soon follow. edit: I did notice a lot of people saying that this episode robbed Hyoudou of his spotlight but I simply must disagree. If this series is going in the direction I think it is this will be the stepping stone for Hyoudou to rise up to the spotlight. With Hyoudou feeling that he was robbed of his spotlight by a beginner that in turn to prove his superiority he will do better and have all attention on him. Also even though many of us want to route for Hyoudou the goal of the show is to portray him as a rival to our main character so he must be humiliated or at least outshined by our protagonist for the rivalry to begin. It's not a sports anime without a rivalry . this episode may seem bad because of Hyoudou being robbed of his spotlight but I can guarantee that if the creators aren't heartless Hyoudou will regain his spotlight and even more. |

| This is shaping up to be my favorite anime of this season. The style that it's drawn in is really different from everything else, but I have to say, it's already completely grown on me. This show is keeping me on the edge of my seat. |

| Really felt the pressure during Tatara's performance, as I can personally relate to having to perform on-the-fly and constantly panicking about what to do. There are a good amount of still frames, but I didn't feel it took away from the tension; on the contrary, whenever Tatara stopped dancing I got really anxious as to whether it'd disqualify them or not. The actual moving dancing moments, though, are a treat, and I'd imagine there are other moments later in the story that they'd want to put more of the dancing animation budget into. |
| I'm pretty sure he fell.... and wasn't pushed. I can't wait until Tatara gets his own partner soon. It's no fun to tempt us with Shizuku when she is never going to be his partner. |

I suppose He doesn't have a photographic memory, I imagine he just practiced that first bit over and over up until this point, once he got past it he was immediately out of ideas. We did get a bit of a skip since this competition wasn't right after the last one or anything. And it's not like he's in the competition because of his great skill or anything, he just got pushed into it be Sengoku at the last minute. |

| I get people who complain about the still frames here. I also wish there was more animated dancing for the record. Yet, the presentation and music here are still the big points that make me really like the series. |

| Ah, pretty neat episode. Shizuku looks like an entirely different person in makeup :O That fan service doe <3 I was feeling second hand embarrassment when MC stepped out in the hall. Had to made multiple pauses there XD What that Gorilla did was a dick move. Sengoku shouldn't have needlessly provoked that guy. The waltz was exciting. Tatara finally got the chance to dance with Shizuku at last. And he sure enjoyed this experience :D |

| That Jackass pushed the him from the stairs down!! Well, at least Tatara managed to dance with Shizuku. I just hope the boy doesnt get his hopes up, since it seems she is already in love for Kiyoharu. Seems like he made alot of good memories with his first stage performance, even if it was full of misssteps xD |

| After seeing so many praises for the anime i really want to watch this anime but I don't have a patience to watch episode by episode so I'll be waiting until the anime is completed ,i know it's a long wait but i think it will be worth it |

The fan service bits are funny, don't be such a sjw. There won't be any more such scenes if I remember correctly. |

| The manga doesn't stay consistent with fan service so nothing will really happen in the future episodes. Also since this episode adapted chapter 3, most of the dance competition in chapter 3 were single panels hence the still shots. I'm expecting them to animate the dancing more when you meet even more characters coming up soon. |
| Well colour me impressed! The dancing was probably the best it's looked so far, hopefully I.G can keep it up with the animation eye candy. I was so nervous for Tatara, but I'm happy he did well...even if her did trip over his trouser leg at the end lol Can't believe that gorilla guy pushed Hyoudou down the stairs- what an absolute asshat! Also, the ending intrigued me...it seems like Hyoudou is jealous or might feel slightly intimidated by Tatara. It makes sense though, he did kind of make off with his long time dance partner without his approval or knowledge :/ I hope he doesn't start being mean to him though...I prefer my rivalries to be friendly! |

| Tfw some people decide to shit on Hyodo for his slight outburst of anger/jealousy. Can you blame this guy? I'm rather annoyed by the mc being a god damn prodigy who achieved something so rarely seen (the ghost) in one day, where Hyodo probably worked his ass off. He literally just began his adventure with dancing and was already showed into a competition leaving Shizuku and Sengoku breathless, lol. Oh c'mon, just make him a pro already. Yay, tragic characters. Probably gotta stick to Hyodo like I did with Oikawa. |

But they really emphasized Tatara's smile before Hyoudou said that. Below the surface, I think that Hyoudou meant to give back his place in the competition. He must be craving the spotlight. Reminds me of when Tatara watches Sengoku's DVD in episode 1. And then comes a moment where he unconsciously hears all of the dancers yell "look at me!" |
| Man, watching Tatara dance was pretty hard to watch. I got a lot of second-hand embarrassment seeing him mess up so much on the competition floor. I think I'll definitely see this show through to the end. |

And him bad-mouthing the guy he beat for 5 years in a row didn't help me like his character more either >< And I wonder what actually happened by the stairs. They made it seem like gorilla guy pushed Hyoudo, but I wonder what really happened. That dance was stressful to watch! But it seems like it turned out okay in the end. And I what was it exactly that made Hyoudo so angry at the end there? |
| WOW! great episode! Iwakuma you bastard! such a dirty gorilla player! LOL at Sengoku-san almost stripped naked Shizuku! Nice one Sengoku-san! you forced Fujita to dance with Shizuku in replacement for Kiyoharu! and he's not bad doing his very first dance! what a great imitator and his own choreography! This was a great first real experience for Fujita that will help him improve a lot! They fripped and fall down as the music stops, nice timing! looks like Kiyoharu is pissed-off to Fujita cuz he knows Fujita will also become a threat and great rival in the future. 5/5! |

| Are we sure the Gorilla dude pushed Hyodo down the stairs? Also lolwut at Sengoku basically assaulting Shizuku. That aside, there's definitely a lot of sexual tension in this show, especially between Shizuku and Hyodo. I think that's quite common when it comes to Latin dancing though. |

The bathroom scene with those dudes shit-talking Hyoudou while he was trying to treat his injury was really sad. :( Tatara ended up replacing Hyoudou and damn it was really amazing to watch him dance and invent his own choreography, he might not have been great or anything but just watching him dance put a smile on my face. :) Can't wait for next week. | Like others have said, I found it unnecessary and rude of Sengoku to pull the top half of Shizuku’s dress, which she then used her arms to cover her breast. Shizuku did not consent to Sengoku’s behaviour, and was clearly uncomfortable. I like Kiyoharu even more, since he didn’t stare at Shizuku’s chest and got a nosebleed like Fujita, but turned around with his ears covered. Kiyoharu actually looked cute in that moment. :P – Although, I would have preferred it if Kiyoharu covered Shizuku, or stopped Sengoku. >< It was very nice to see Kiyoharu and Shizuku dance Latin!! Cha-cha-cha, rumba…they were all sexy! :D I love that the pair had a different vibe for each type of dance. Their chemistry is amazing; I think they’re a perfect dance couple. <3 I definitely would have preferred to see choreographed dances, rather than stills though… ^^ It was sad to see Kiyoharu suffering from his injured leg, at the bottom of the stairs… :( I wish Kiyoharu got his leg taken care of, instead of compete in the Mikasanomiya Cup… >< And it was annoying when those two men were badmouthing Kiyoharu in the bathroom, without knowing that he puts a lot of effort into ballroom dancing! ‘-_____- Kiyoharu’s parents being ballroom dancers can’t be the reason why he’s won competitions, lol! Judges evaluate dancers for what they display on the dance floor. ;______; It was nice to see Fujita smile on the dance floor, despite the mistakes he made. That’s a great attitude to have! I feel bad for Kiyoharu… :( At the end, the poor boy was asking Fujita not to just literally give him back his clothes, but also his spot on the dance floor. Kiyoharu’s dance partner, his chorography that Fujita displayed on the dance floor…everything. Kiyoharu’s anger displayed how strongly he wanted to dance, and how much he loves ballroom dancing. <3 Based on the preview, we may see awesome animation of Kiyoharu on the dance floor! :D I’ll say this again, but the ending theme song is lovely. <3 Black_wind said: Can they stop using Shizuku for those fanservice "jokes"?it's tasteless oh,and the other lady whose name I don't even remember because she is basically just THE boobs ^ YES.
