| Damn, great way to start off the second season! This first episode, full of action :) I hate it when this kind of thing happens in anime, people forgetting about the main char. Good thing from Hakumen no Mono, who creeped me the fuck out in the beginning of the episode lol. While this still lacks the aura that the first season gave off I believe it will return, a shame this is only 13 episodes though. I love Ushio to Tora and I believe this will turn out to be a great 39 episode show(if it was split cour). |

| I loved this episode, it hit the ground running at full speed. No matter how good MHA, ConRevo, or Kiznaiver might be, this is probably going to be the best anime of the season. The face game is just as strong as before as well. |

| I liked how the color scheme changed in the cherry blossoms scene to reflect the change of mood when Asako forgot about Ushio. This series still has that nostalgic older shounen feel that I like. Overall, a good start to the second season; looking forward for more. Amnesia plots have been played out for a while, but the source is technically older material. |

| I loved everything about this episode. From to opening theme to the starting and progress and even down to the ending. It's been a good while since an anime episode got a 10 from me but this one sure as hell deserves it. I may be too quick in calling this out but I predict that this is gonna be the best anime for this season. Sure as hell made me want to take a quick peek at the manga to see what's gonna happen next. |

| I really like the art style. It looks more modern than the first season. And that sakura scene in the beginning was very wonderful and beautiful. Hakumen no Mono wasted no time I see. We are into hard action only minutes after the season started. |

| Looks like shit is going down. Everyone lost their memories of Ushio. I didn't expect Mayuko to be also in loved with Ushio. I though she just love him as a friend. I havent read the manga but it seems like they skipped some events because I dont remember anyone forming an alliance last season. This season is on 13 episodes long. I hope they'll be able to adapt the manga completely. |

| The sceneat the beginning with the rose petals was amazingly done, great direction, and an overall good episode. Mayuko and Asako's discussion was really cute, too. That said, the sting of all the skipped chapters finally reared it's head. The pacing was a bit off, and they completely wrecked the Mayuko/Kirio sub-plot. It was so nice in the manga... |

| At long last I get to binge watch this follow-up to what I felt was a really really good first 26 episode of Ushio and Tora! So good to see it get straight back into the action with the bigger evil of Hakumen already their main concern. |

Obviously the East Head told him, and it's never shown that he forgot Ushio; but rather, he forgot what that armor he made was. Kirio states he's been living with Mayuko for some time, obviously he'd be addressing her as such by now. Sorry, none of your gripes really hold any weight, at least for me. Anyway, about the episode; kinda groaned at the amnesia subplot, but then got to understand it as another Hiyou motive. The manga makes it a bit more clear how analytical the Hiyou are, gradually scaling up each new idea (14+), so it makes sense then why they wouldn't have tried this already. Hakumen also didn't know who was close to him at the time, either. I wish the anime made it more clear that each woman who takes on the role of putting up the barrier of Hakumen is a direct decedent of Jie Mei's reincarnation, meaning both Mayuko and Ushio are related, since the latter's mother is also related. They never mentioned that part, so it can be confusing. Pretty good, but didn't really wow me. The one thing that really bothered me personally, though, was the very opening. Hakumen stating that apparently it has a haunting memory of the spear 2300 years ago...? Firstly, I recall the time youkai saying the spear wasn't even made more than 2,200 years ago, and also, the spear never found Hakumen back then. That's what Jie Mei said. It hunted endlessly for quite awhile, venting its frustrations on other youkai, who then sealed it with the red cloth until it was broken free by someone at least 1000 years later. So... my point being, that whole flashback Hakumen had could never have happened. I've looked everywhere in the manga to find it to see if it's explained there, and cannot. It must be an anime only addition, and it's an addition that completely fucked with the narrative. I almost want to edit it out on my DVDs, just because it creates a plot hole. |

You wouldn't have to go through this if you just harem'd it. Mayuko shares the same blood as Jie Mei. It all makes sense why she looked like Jie Mei and Mikado. Mayuko's mother's name is Hizaki. She's related to Ushio. Incest is wincest! Also, lol at Mayuko's mom having the I'm not a main character so my character design looks like shit gene. So happy to see Kagari and Saya again. Nice OP/ED songs. I wish they kept the 1st OP song. Dat Hakumen body in the ED. Dat nipple. Kagari looking fine as well. |

| That was a good episode to start season 2 off, as it sets the stage well for what's to come...but it's been so long that I forgot who most of these characters were hahaha. |
