New girl looks like a potential yandere >D
Ah, and censorship is really annoying.Wish they would let us see everything, like in older anime.
Well they all did almost die, and could be found and killed at any moment... and they are also likely all virgins, since they were kept in a testing facility all their lives. Not too unrealistic that 1/3 chicks is a horny slut. That percentage is higher with real life chicks who don't even have a care in the world. And he did technically save all of their lives, too, so he's kinda like James Bond to her so far. If this is going to be a harem anime, at least the main character isn't a wuss.
W..e...l...l...
I understand you, bro. That said, it's not *really* realistic (that's why it's an anime trope). I mean, let's face it: how many times does it happen a girl shows her boobs and vagina to a guy she just met and puts her toe in his mouth? Otaku-wishful-thinking aside, that just don't happen in r/l. Not even with sluts.
Then again, I don't have any major problems with the fanservice. I often get annoyed lately on all the dudes constantly complaining the moment some fanservice is shown in an anime. I mean: really? Come on guys, get a grip. If it's done well and at a proper time in an anime, there is nothing inherently wrong with it. A scene like this is far less annoying then the constant and ridiculous boob-popping-up in Freezing when their clothes are torn by knives but it just so happens the boobs get through unscathed every time. Fanservice is fanservice, but I don't mind seeing a cute chick nude, as long as it doesn't derail the story or is over-intrusive in every aspect of the anime. And truth be told; the anime just followed the manga.
In the anime/manga, Kazumi is just portrayed as an uber-slut. Just like you have the yandere and loli classical types. It's not very realistic, but then again, so are more anime-tropes. In the defence of Kazumi: maybe...you know...she just wants to get laid before she dies. One must remember they ALL know they live on borrowed time and have not long to live. If one really wanted to get laid and you knew you had only a few months left, well, I guess most people might try a bit more 'hard' to get it on with a chick/guy. (pun intended) In that respect, Kazumi doesn't follow an unrealistic way of rapidly getting laid, and the only thing that prevents it from succeeding is ANOTHER anime trope, whereby the harem-guy is either too stupid or too shy to move on the blatant invitation. I guess no harem-type anime ever makes it so that the guy surrounded by cute, willing, girls ...actually does what ANY young male character would do in that situation, because otherwise it would just be a hentai.
Nevertheless, even while the harem-trope and slutty-trope is much exaggerated and unrealistic (in r/l), it's equally unrealistic males would react like that. I'm pretty sure if a cute virgin put her toe in your mouth, and openly offered all she has in display (and probably will go a lot further too), most guys would actually do something else and try out how far the invitation goes. It's hardly a simple 'hello', after all, that sort of behaviour. so, yes, it's unrealistic in more than one way, but hey, it's anime, and one should be used to these tropes by now. As long as it's not completely unrealistic *within* the context of the anime, I'm ok with it. If it makes sense or at least is internally consistent, there is nothing to complain about, imho. And as said, with the mindset of the girls, being ex-labrats who taste freedom for the first time, and knowing you're running out of time/life... I can imagine that, if you want to get laid and are a bit of the slutty type, you make some drastic moves you know a male will respond to. So, yeah, it - sort of - makes sense, within the context of that anime. |
