| This episode was pretty good. Hijikata, Okita and Katsura are interesting characters. Kondo is a stereotype dumb guy for now at least. |

| That was funny with the bomb lol. Gin is hot and so is Toshiro, I can't believe Toshiro's friend keeps trying to kill him lol. The end with Gin sensei bit I think was the same one as the end of the jump festa one but still funny. He's licking it so fast, funny reference to the 4kids dub of One Piece lol.  |

| This episode was actually my favorite so far. We got to hear a little more bout the amanto and also a bit of Gintoki's past. We also got introduced to one of his apparent rivals Zura, yes i said Zura. The bit bout the soap opera and the pop sickle at the end was pretty funny. |

| Meh. So glad that Kagura is eating in the bulk of the episode. The sound of someone eating is slightly less tolerable than the sound of your newborn child choking to death on it’s vomit. This anime just can’t stop getting worse. Another painfully unfunny episode. The Zura gag is already physically draining and it’s only been in 3 episodes so far. Probably should change the counter at the bottom to “Series Smirks” because it hasn’t even gotten me there yet. This anime is so bad. Series Laughs: 0. Can’t wait until I get 57 episodes into this when this show finally becomes palatable. This truly is 5 of the 10 greatest anime ever. |

| Loved the jokes, especially the epilogue in class xD I also LOVE the comedy/serious toneshifts. They are so abrupt but hit like hell! That flashback from Gintoki and Zura (no, it’s Katsura! xD) was really touching. Love the way Gintoki can say beautiful things if needed. Also added Gintoki to my favorites, I love this guy already freaking much as a character. |
| I gotta say, that I found this episode to be really funny as well, especially the scene with the bomb in the first half of the episode and then Katsura talking about Gintoki's hair as well, but ngl, I really like Gintoki's hair, and I'm starting to really like Gintoki as a character as well; definitely excited to see what's next! |

"Half dead is still dead" "Call an ambulance" "AMBULAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!" Yamazaki being mistaken for a stalker that should be apprehended by police is... lol Even at death risk young Gintoki still called Katsura how he didn't want to, and back in present day i laughed at how much they insulted each other for hairstyles included Okita wasn't believable when he told Hijikata to move out from his target, and in fact... Poor Hiji, the fact that he didn't record in advance that soap opera became meaningless, because of the exact events he took part of in first person a little before. And for once it was nice to see Okita being sad with him 3Z class with Ginpachi sensei is great and deserved to appear way more often, but it's still good to return to the early episodes with a way better knowledge of the plot and characters and see this show was already this good to begin with |
