| This arc was borderline retarded. I don't remember it being so bad in the vn. My memory is not the best though, so I can be wrong. |
| This was definitely my favourite episode so far. It was pretty obvious that her brother was actually dead but it was still fairly emotional. |

| Like many others here, in this episode I got also tearjerked. The scene with Yukine sleeping on Tomoya was sweet. Always giving charms, now she finally could use them for herself once. ;) One thing I recognized so far. This episode confirmed it. When I see here an emotional scene, the impact is more deep than teary. But it is very deep. No anime did make me feel the emotions better so far than Clanand or After Story, and hats why I love them. Idk, the way the characters behave, why they do certain things (like in this episode Yukine), it's just so unique. :) |

| Found this arc a little weak. Suspension of disbelief couldn't handle a death like Kazuto's being covered up so successfully that people living right in the neighbourhood, especially gang members, wouldn't know. |

This episode felt more like they ripped fight scene from Tomoyo After... and they totally changed the story and themes of this arc.. and I guess even if this arc was already bad in the novel it flew a lot better there. Well, expect for maybe those few minutes in the end I'm kinda disappointed with this ep. Even light orbs explanation was done half-heatedly. We only have to hope things will get back on the track with next episode. |

| I didn't enjoy this arc that much, not sure why... It was fun (the bread), a bit touching (Kazuto's state), intense (the fighting scene) but... I don't know. At least it's over. |

| Is this some kind of parody? They tried to build the upcoming gangs' leaders confrontation as something truly dramatic just to have everyone being knocked out by a radioactive bread. Not to mention also that that stupid gag was the mere reason they used in order to make MC Tomoya go fight instead of Sunohara. What a shitty narrative element, honestly. And by the way, considering how "unrealistically kind" Sasaki's gang is, I'm pretty sure they would have stooped fighting if Yukine had just told them about his brother's death and his wish of stopping their retarded violence. By doing this, this nonsense could have been easily avoided but again and as with Sunohara's arc, doing the logical thing seems taboo for these characters. Overall, another truly stupid and terribly written arc concludes. 8 episodes in and this is far worse than S1. P.S.: So that's the explanation for those lights, uh? Then, is Tomoya some "chosen one" kind of person? |

| The amount of emphasis this season has put on it's supporting characters is cool and all, but they're called supporting characters for a reason. I don't understand why I'm supposed to care about these characters who aren't even that important in the first place. I hear that the next episode is the one that changes everything, and if it isn't I'm dropping. I think I've been patient enough with how unfunny, uninteresting and unimpactful the story has been, and I'm not willing to give any more excuses in the faint hope that this show can do something right. It's a shame that the people who rate this show a 10/10 can't see through the veneer of how emotionally manipulative it is. |

| For this episode, I do wish that it was Sunohara who fought the other gang's leader. That would have added some points from the audience to Sunohara, but nope, only Tomoya gets the glory. I thought it was stupid that he got knocked out by the bread and jam. Did not like that Clannad mixed a comedy moment with a serious moment only so Tomoya can have the glory. And good to see the jam from Kanon 2006 making a cameo!!! |

| Animation wise is always a spectacle to watch. The fight animation between Tomoya and the gang leader is really fluid. But I don't even care the story about these whole gang. These arc is the most unintersting part so far in the series. Is there any development about Tomoya and Nagisa relationship? All side characters seems not that really important later on. Patient is key |

| I think I would have been more empathetic with what was happening in this arc if I knew why they were fighting, what was the reason for the fighting. I guess they're gangs and they fight each other? because they're gangs? Another arc that would have ended in the first 10 minutes if people talked with each other instead of withholding vital information. |

| Weird that the arcs in After Story is suddenly fast. Back in Season 1, things can be long but they're really speeding it up here. But f*ck that thinking, I cried for the first time in this episode since Kotomi's arc, and jeez what a way to reveal it. I really thought that Boss Kazuto will be back, but he's dead. And that music was the final nail, I was actually shedding tears omg. And by the way, in the same episode we get the lap pillow scene and the rainbow bread scene which is really odd. Anyways, Yukine finally moved on, the gangs have settled with each other, and all it took was an awful beating for Okazaki, and one punch on Yukine...which is ILLEGAL. Lots of things that I still want to say, but in general Yukine must be protected, Tomoya is strong as a rock, and lesson of the story...do not drag out a MISUNDERSTANDING!!! |

| I forgot Sunohara really beat up the soccer team lol. They keep making him out to be a wimp but he is actually pretty strong. Lol Sanae's cooking knocked them all out. Why didn't Okazaki warn them? Those are some kind gangsters. They stopped fighting just cuz the other gang's leader's sister asked them to. Wish more gangs worked like that ITL. Okazaki is, in fact, special. He is the MC after all. I hope XeroBeat is right and they stop focusing on side characters. I hope they don't do some dumb arc such as Yoshino or Ibuki-sensei or Isogai lmao. When is the actual After Story? It still feels like Side Story. Might as well have made the original Clannad more than 23 eps. |

| Man, what a stamina Okazaki has, the fight started at sunset and ended at night, when there is clearly a very large gap in strength with the other guy, he held on too long It's not making me cry but if he leaves me with a big lump in my throat, until almost the end was when it hurt the most In this part I thought that the blow they had given Okazaki had sent him to the other world xD Because of Nagisa's dramatic reaction I felt this blow, it was too much, I was surprised that he endured it and was still able to hold on xd I'm glad they stopped fighting, Kazuto left a big impact on both gangs to respect his wish for no more fights |

| By far the least interesting arc to me, I'm not sure what warrants two separate characters based around gang fights, but I really would have preferred if Tomoyo was the focus of this arc or at least that she was more involved with it. I liked a couple of moments, like Yukine becoming involved with the gang to make up for not getting to know her brother better when she was alive, but this arc still makes Sunohara's one look kind of good in comparison (or maybe it was good in the first place and I had to see an actually bland arc to realise that). Is 3/5 too harsh? |
