| Better than expected |
| Another pretty fun episode. The stuff with Darkness is getting a little weird for my taste though. And I just feel so bad for Aqua half the time. New girl is alright, hope this series doesn't get bogged down introducing too many characters. |

| Yunyun makes her debut and she's kinda cute. Hilarious seeing Megumin tease her so much. Yunyun really wants to beat Megumin but Megumin has no interest in such things. Yunyun and Megumin sure had a sad past. I was about to feel really sorry for them but then they made a joke of it lol. Yunyun was (and probably still is) a rich girl but she got bullied and didn't have any friends. Megumin was a poor girl and also didn't have friends. And she probably never even got the idea of making Yunyun her friend. Lol when Megumin and Kazuma were covered in slime and were fighting for the bath, but then they both ended up in together. Lol Kazuma got beat up by a little girl. Kazuma sure loves making fun of Megumin even when his life is at stake. The bastard. Lol he got branded as a pedo-NEET. Hilarious as always. |
| Outside of the OVA, we can see how Kazuma and Megumin slowly develop their affection. I haven't read the original material so I could be wrong (please avoid any major spoilers please!). Kazuma is probably what Megumin wants... I mean, he has come to understand the beauty (path) of Explosion but most importantly, he's bringing food to the table :P ...maybe that's why it hurts Megumin so much when Kazuma calls her a little girl? She wants Kazuma to see her as a woman, not a little girl. |

| Ehhh... I actually felt pretty bad for Yunyun through the whole episode. The part when her memories are shown and scenes like she celebrating her birthday alone or that flower escaping from her were very depressing. Good episode. I wonder what the Hell was happening with Darkness... |

| Frogs are back and yun yun :O The ova is now an alternative setting since she was reintroduced. Megumin in the bath and yun yun rivalry :)  |

| Thank goodness the animation is back to it's usual consistency, I guess episode 1 was a rushed production. Looking forward to more, this episode was fucking great! |

| That bath scene lmao. Kazuma you lucky bastard. Just what I expected in terms of comedy. Great episode again, actually much better than the first one ! Hope they keep up the same quality for the rest of the season. |

As in, he didn't have to get them one by one. So when he first used the water spell in s1, he already had all the other elemental lv0 spells as well and there was no point in time when he "only" had water, then next picked ice, then picked fire or something like that. |

Looks like Megumin's relationship with Kazuma is improving though. I can't wait to see whats going on with Darkness though. |

| The scenes with Yunyun doing things all alone, especially the birthday part, really hit home. I feel for her. Being alone like that sucks. In the words of Bob Ross, "everyone needs a friend." |

It was just kinda weirdly dark, like "wtf is this doing in between a bunch of lewd jokes." |

| I'm struggling to remember what it was about this show that I liked from season 1. Surely the comedy was a bit better than this. I don't like any of the characters any more. Dropped. |
| Don't bite my head off for saying this but this season has not impressed me a bit. There is something missing. Even a bath scene with my favourite girl in the story didn't make me enjoy it a bit. I will give this anime a couple of more episodes chance. Right now, it seriously does seem to have been affected by the second season syndrome. At least for me. It seems the entire thing is rolling on from the push it got from the rather fantastic season one. It needs to improve because the comedy is now becoming repetitive and doesn't make me laugh. The toad part for an example that made me ROFL in the first season left me totally bored in this one. |
