| Nice start and the animation in the episode opening are nice, as expected of A-1 picture and their action animation. Can't expect much from the story but it honestly can't be worse then season 1 I hope... |
| People are just butthurt because the first ep of the first season was pretty fantastic. I'd rather the show stay at this level than start good and go to shit. |

| Alright.... Great first episode. Though, it still scared me it will go bad from now on, especially after great ep 1, good ep 2, and disastrous ep 3 of the first season. Let's just hope it's not going to happen.... (OP/ED animation quality already quite bad though) |

| I wasn't bad.. for a first episode, I kinda like that retrospective and talking, shame this turns out into pure action later on (but maybe I am wrong). It all depends on the fact how they manage to explain this new killing phenomena later on. I enjoyed the first season for its first half but it turned shitty in its second part. Let's hope this season would have more mature story with some ethical questions being asked. Yes, Kirito's being employed by secret agency is kinda dubious plot device and its agent acted very unproffesional and overcasual (talk of desperate) when talking to him but that can be overlooked if upcoming story is any good. I just hope this doesn't turn into "look how many people I can kill just for the sake of killing because I am psycho with will to kill" and let's hope Kirito won't be so overpowered this time. And I have to say I can't wait to see how Shino character turns out - she looked pretty cool in the end and I like Miyuki's voice. |

| I'm glad that they adapted it very nicely from the LN or it would have ruined it like Season 1 Romance was cringy and cheesy for me though.. |

| Hmm, compared to SAO this one doesnt have an epic start. Id even call it average if it wasnt for the good art and animation. Also no epic BGM or intro soundtrack either. 7/10 for now. Lets hope it turns out better in the end. I can still remember how hyped I was for SAO and how it was already standing at 10/10 in my book just after 3-4 episodes and ended up 7/10. |

| It was great seeing Asuna and Kirito again. I loved the OP, very catchy! I am glad they did not jump into the game to fast without explaining everything. I thought the first episode was a great set up. Looking forward to the next 23 episodes! I'm not too familiar with any of the manga past ALO, so i'm curious about these other arcs I am hearing about for this season. |
| Basicially, the whole episode was boring with exception of the first 3 minutes and the last minutes including the Opening, which saved the episode for the most part. The only thing that is more boring than the dialogue between Kirito and the SAO Extra Edition Guy is Mahoukas storytelling. No wonder they showed the best 3 episodes of SAO during the screening here in Germany before they showed this episode. Well... otherwise they wouldn't remember that SAO had way better moments. |

| Kirito has not even touch GGO and he is OP already. I think we all can guess what is going to happen at the end already. More romance, ugh at this point Kirito and Asuna should just get married already. |
