| This episode is a perfect example of "Bros before hoes". Interesting to see how Sun-chan, Himawari and Cosmos' romance seem to be dropped completely, at least for now. We're starting to see Joro building up his harem, which wasn't originally the draw of this show. I'm not a big fan of harem, but if we're going to see Joro reject the new girl sometime soon, then I'll be fine with it. |

It's like the writer was thinking, "How can I make the MC an asshole, while making him likeable?" But was so focused on making the MC likeable, they ironically completely removed the asshole aspect of him. The MC's motivations make no sense either: initially, his goal was to have a harem of girls. Well, a group of girls are constantly flocking to him. He even has romantic feelings for one of them, Pansy. Yet...he doesn't even date one of them, not even Pansy? And he doesn't seem to be aware that Cosmos and his childhood friend really want him, even though it's so obvious, even though the MC is presented initially as a character who isn't a moron? What makes characters like Kazuma from Konosuba, and Seiya from Cautious Hero so fun to watch is that they embrace their assholish sides, but not to a point where they're despicable, and still show their good sides, as they deep down care for their friends, and have a sense of moral. I call this trope the, "Asshole with a heart of gold", a trope that Oresuki is clearly trying to follow, yet completely fails at it. On a side note, the "joke" of the characters pointing out a generic beach episode being...a generic beach episode is not clever at all. As Digibro said, it's like a guy pissing on the street while yelling "I'm pissing on the street!" I've been told this is a trope called the, "lamp shade effect", but does that make it a good trope? It's awful. Yet, I keep watching this anime, because I'm addicted to it the same way I'm addicted to junk food. Wow couldn't have said it any better myself. You managed to perfectly sum up all the problems I have with this show. Couldn't agree with you more, and yet, like you, I can't stop watching this train wreck. |

| GOD... Sun is great. I REALLY WISH He wasn't used the way he was in the beginning because now he's just an overall great guy. The girls are going to need to step up their game if they want to reach his level. |

| Oh yeah, I'm just a sucker for episodes like this one. They all looked great in their swimsuits, especially Pansy and Cosmos. That dyed hair girl is cute too. Sun-chan became the best bro for this episode. This is one of the most funniest episode of this series. 5/5 Episode. I wonder who that girl in the end was though. |

| Sun and Joro on top of a pink dolphin drifting towards the sunset was great. This episode had great comedy for filler, it's a shame they ruined the redhead, she looks so plain and meek now. |

| I've never liked fan service episode, and this episode is nothing different. But I consider myself as a chillax person. I'm not liking something doesn't mean I'm thrashing it, no. I don't have crazy expectation of the series because it will end up becoming your everyday harem anyway. Though Sansaqua's appearance change is good in my opinion. I'm super weak against gap-moe, so yeah, it hit me pretty hard. The last knight-esque girl weird me out by the way... |

| BENCH-KUN, WHERE ART THOU!?!? Is Joro's thought when he needs an area of escape, and I love it. Sidenote, Joro's mum in a loli-esque voice reminds me of Masamune's mom (from Masamune-kun no Revenge). BUT Pansy in his house reeks of red flags. His mom getting the short-name treatment as the others...HOT DAMN! The 5-men/women clique are together...at a pool, means fanservice galore, and momentary 4th wall breaking. Oh, that red-haired girl from class again? What's her name again? (Sasanqua) Regardless, they cleared their misunderstandings...albeit bit by bit. The girls' fíght for Joro gets underway...with Joro hanging in the middle, aided by Sun-chan. His harem is getting real...nipslip for Himawari, "boob alert" for Cosmos, and more "coincidental" threat-stalking from Pansy. In all of these, Sun-chan is best girl, the saviour of the day. Dumbfounded is everyone, nook or cranny. All's well that ends well for Joro, plus his clearance from the newspaper fiasco of Asunaro...and the major change of Sasanqua, HOLY SHITTTT that's a change! The moment I dread...is the new girl, Yoko...AGAIN, going ahead for Joro? A childhood friend? Classmate? What gives!? With the knightly kiss and such...what tragedy lies in store for our fervent MC!? |

The after credits scene is not new content anymore (it takes place directly after the festival in LN and manga, so this episode would start with it if it was a faithful adaptation). Sasanqua also changes her hair in LN due to similar reason as in this episode, but it occurs later on... ooo ok good to know. thx |

| The first few episodes were really funny which is why I put up with all the fan-service but it's no longer so funny. Sun-chan might have been the best girl this episode but bench-chan is the true best girl, waiting for bench-chan to make a comeback. |
