There's 2 4-years-timeskip in episode one already lol. 8 years old when the virus happened -> 12 years old in vampire city -> 16 years old currently. |

| Okay, so I'm in love with Shinoa. She is just kind of amazing. Her lines always manage to make me laugh. But I'm really nervous about the reunion between Yuu and Mika. It looks like we'll still have a bit of time until that happens but until then, yay for actual action. But honestly, I'm really happy with the way Wit has adapted the manga. They did a good job with SnK so I don't know why I'm surprised but still, it's nice to see a good manga adaptation unlike others I've seen. -cough cough- Tokyo Ghoul -cough cough- |

| New character: Mitsuba Sanguu. Like the others do, Mitsuba also has a tragic past regarding the safety of her comrades. Pretty typical of how Yuu reminds her of her former self. Hohoho! That shower scene with Shinoa and Mitsuba was really amusing. Next episode looks like they'll finally exterminate those pesky vampires. |

| Seriously considering dropping this anime.. Premise is good but execution is slow, cliche, and really boring. [rant] -What is up with the art? Im not talking about the characters, but the backgrounds look so cheap to the point it looks like theyre walking on a freaking painting. -The characters are really annoying too. Typical MC who never faces real consequences and acts like a revenge-lusting douchebag for the past six episodes. The whole "i dont want to leave anyone behind" thing started off strong, but at this point it became something repeated so much in flashback that its annoying. The character interactions too are also always sarcastic and salty for the "badass" feel but its really just a cringy moment especially when most of the episode is all talk with only 2 minutes of action... Ive got more, but I think gist proven. Just wanted to get it out of my chest. [rant over] |

And even all of the characters know very well about how evil demons are & how they could easily possess your body then proceed to kill humans. So I expect at least one character to question the army's decision to use demonic power. It's not about being scared of demons, it's about questioning/disagreeing with the very idea of working with demons. Yes, I understand that the Four Horsemen of . . . something & vampires seem to be much more of a threat than demons, but demons are beings that have always been the symbol of malevolence. |

Appreciate the lighting and color palette. Then go sit in a corner and think about what you just posted. Also, MC drops "muh revenge" personality later on. | And just like that I'm almost inclined to drop this anime. What an annoying girl, she literally was about to let little kid die but of course after they saved her, the tsundere becomes all nice to the kid like she was the one to saved her while slapping the MC. There was just so many other stupid things too that happen that can't bother to list. The amount of inconsistencies is just too high for my standards. |

Since we know that the season 1 is like the prologue of the series and the season 2 (second half) will be the start of the real deal. Well, I do really enjoy the show, good music, good plot, good background ( to those who can't appreciate the background is the one who doesn't have any taste at all. Does they even know how hard and rare it is for an anime to have a hand to hand created background? That is mostly requires more time and skills rather than using digital and other animation software. I know that myself since I am also in the field of animation). And about the MC, he's really not annoying at all, well first you might but the character development of him is as clear as the sky and you people can't even see it? I don't care about those who dropped and planning to drop it. Goodbye since you people can't appreciate such good anime. Those who are saying that this is cliche, if you want a non-cliche anime, juat go back to 70's or 80's and find your own. And to those who think Mitsuba is just annoying as hell, just see! |
