How I rate anime on MAL (and I don't rate dropped anime because that's illogical):

10/Unforgettable = I enjoyed the anime so much that it will stick in my memories and something I will think about every now and then for years and years. It's unforgettable.

9/Very Good = An anime that I quite enjoyed and look forward to each week. Worth binge watching without taking any breaks.

8/Good= It had some flaws but I enjoyed it. Depending on the anime, I may or may not watch more of it if it comes out with more seasons.

7/Average = A lot of ways it could have been better, I wouldn't have watched it if I would've known it's mediocrity but decent enough for me to just finish it and not drop it.

6/Not Good = Regretful finish, the anime might've had a good start or interesting premise/characters but jumped the shark somewhere but to the point where it was too late for me to drop or me hoping it would get better but it doesn't.

5/Bad = I've only given one anime that score, basically a 5 means not only I regret the anime but it did things near the end that made me really dislike it a lot. I'm looking at you 11eyes.

4/??? = I don't think I'll ever waste my time and torture myself for anything that low and I am confused why people would waste theirs when there is good series out there to watch, time is precious is it not?
