| You rarely hear about an MC that's classified at the same level as 'A Strategic Missile', but that seems like a misnamer. Since a missile can only be used once, while Tatsuya has that 'Revive Function' we've seen so far. Not to mention everything else. So i'm not really sure what to classify him as... a Strategic Missile Factory with infinite supplies maybe? |

| Tatsuya being a badass at the start, he's scary when he's angry. The CGI/3D stuff for dancing was a bit weird. Lots of info dumping this ep. Nice dance with Miyuki at the end. New arc next yay |

| Tatsuya killing the No Head Dragons was somewhat entertaining to say the least. Tatsuya as clueless and stiff as ever when Honoka proposed a dance. Everyone one gets a dance with Tatsuya (hell even thought Juumonji was going to ask for a dance XD) Now even the 10 clans want Tatsuya.He declines though because he's a Yotsuba. Tatsuya x Miyuki OTP dance. Glad this arc is finally over. |

| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION. DO NOT DISCUSS THE LIGHT NOVEL BEYOND THIS EPISODE. Mod Note: Added some spoiler tags. Please remember that this discussion is also for people who have only seen the anime and are not aware of the background from the LN series. We got to see a bit more on the Ten Master Clans and how they operate. Tatsuya has impressed them enough that they have offered him a marriage alliance and adoption into a clan after he denies that he comes from one of them. As the dead-eyed patriarch explained, the Master Clans are a way to stabilize the political system and balance the magical power that is available. It's a system that works as long as no one clan dominates the others or no competing power base (ie. Tatsuya) is created outside of (and uncontrolled by) the clans. In the long run of course that is exactly what will happen, but the 10 Master Clan era might last for a century or two. |

| No-Head Dragon's branch got destroyed! Seeing just a part of Tatsuya's power and his only feeling. Ichijo sure looked happy to be able to dance with Miyuki! Still, to defeat Ichijo means that much for the Ten Master Clans. Offering Tatsuya to join the Saegusa clan by marrying the president!!! Tatsuya danced with a lot of girls! First High winning the tournament can't wait for next arc! |

| When the man said Demon Light I almost yelled "no it's Demon Right!" I blame CR. Miyuki looked so close to casting Niflheim when Tatsuya was dancing with others haha. Him and Saegusa looked really cute :3 During the ballroom scene, I can't help but think "ah she'd fit right in there." |

| Well Tatsuya shit on those NHD thugs like a German pornstar. Miyuki dancing with Ichijo? Ew Tatsuya with Honoka + harem? that's ok. I was always kind of shipping Tatsuya x Saegusa from the beginning, but now that it was actually brought up, I don't want it to happen for political reasons. Head wizard guy wants Tatsuya to weaken the Yostuba clan, and Jumonji and the 10 master clans want him to strengthen their side. New arc starting next week. Cant wait to see more of Tatsuya being a badass while his classmates try to comprehend how god tier he is. |

| Okay, i had to make an account just to comment on this awesome episode. Tatsuya vaporizing No-Head-Dragon mercilessly was epic. Can't believe this guy just slaughtered them all because they would have, at the most, inflicted a minor injury on Miyuki. Juumonji looked pretty good as well, hopefully Tatsuya won't heed his advice, though; i just can't picture "Onii-sama" married. The ball was where it was really at. Suzaku looked a tad butthurt about Tatsuya beating him, but... can't be helped. At least he got a pitty dance with Miyuki. It was also cool watching Tatsuya taking turns with his harem, and i just had to lol at that perfectly timed fountain/music combo when he was dancing with his Imoto. Cute... Perfect ending episode to a good arc. I only hope the Yokohama one will be at least a bit more fast-paced. |

| Watched the episode, got to the end, rewinded it so I could listen to the music again, probably my favorite episode of the series to date, I'm semi glad Tatsuya is finally gonna get a bit of a back story, as they've left it late for sure. Finally we get the secret of both Tatsuya's strength and weakness and it ties into the Chinese Mafia, and the general idea of the whole show. The magical amplifiers that the Japanese Magic military unit hates is pretty much the exact same thing that the Yotsuba clan has done to their own family members: they have turned their magicians into a magical commodity in order to gain power. The Chinese mafia takes the brains of magicians in order to sell them as "magical amplifiers", the Yotsuba clan stunts their various members through medical/genetic manipulation in order to create superior magicians. This is why Miyuki and Tatsuya hate their clan so much, they are not treated as people but as things. This is also why the ten clans (really the nine) are scared of the Yotsuba. So finally the cards are being laid on the surface, and the pieces of the jigsaw are starting to show its design. It's a pity they won't get to the Reminiscence arc or the arc that explains how the Yotsuba clan came to be how it currently is. I think you would have enjoyed it. Maybe. Probably. |

| This was a pretty decent conclusion to the arc. I must say that I'm glad that I stuck through it all to get to this episode. Tatsuya's magic has a range and accuracy of how much? He was like half a city away and still managed to accurately take out all of those No Headed goons in strategic order. Is this due to his original innate talent? Or does this have more to do with the modifications that he received when he was a kid? In any case, I can totally understand why Miyuki is so important as a leash for Tatsuya. I mean, if he had the emotions of say... an Accelerator, he could pretty much up and destroy the entire world on a whim. It's a small wonder why the Yotsuba clan would want to keep him on a tight leash, since he could be their trump card to ruling the entire 10 Master Clans for the next generation. Though, that makes me wonder why they would even hide these facts from the Master Clans when the Military has information on it? Wouldn't it be better for the Yotsuba to reveal their hand and actually instate Tatsuya as their candidate to rule the Clans? More power to them, and the Clans as a whole right? I mean, they don't have to broadcast his weakness being Miyuki to the worlds right? He just has to be the figurehead for the Clans to rule it all. Plus, its not like his magic is sub-par. He's majorly OP even in the Magician sense of things. By the way, I have a theoretical question brought on by Jumonji's request that Tatsyua marries Saegusa: He has no extreme emotions right? Would he even be able to er..... "father future generations naturally"? I mean, he's powerful and all that, so his genes would be valuable as shit, but that won't mean a thing even if he gets married if it means that he can't "get it up"... if you know what I'm sayin' >:) Of course there's the alternative that they extract his genes somehow and use him as some sperm bank for the Master Clans.... Okay..... my mind has gone totally off track... Next arc please!!! |

| This episode felt really jam-packed but I liked nonetheless. Seeing how strong and ruthless Tatsuya made me wonder if he was enjoying finally being able to unleash his full power. That dance at the end made me laugh so hard. Tatsuya YOU PLAYER. xDDD I'm sure he was a bit annoyed though at the rotation around the girls. I loved the look his sister was giving him as well. xD I'm glad they didn't make it too much of an issue and shifted moods to Jumonji at the end. |
| ends the competition of the nine colleges, but before that Tatsuya massacred the criminal organization No Head Dragon, this guy is absurdly strong, I like cold and strong protagonists, especially at the time of killing Tatsuya let that Ichijou dance with Miyuki, as he danced with several girls, he and his large harem, but the little sister was jealous, but in the end she had her dance the plot is driving me increasingly curious, I have not followed the end of this arc in LN, but I read it as fast as possible, Tatsuya lied on the ten major clans, possible marriage with Saegusa, and his revenge against the family, the story has great potential and that starts a new arc .. |

| with the nine schools competition being over, i feel it's necessary to offer a warning. The "yokohama arc" mentioned in the preview is split between two novels. The first focuses on infodumps relating to magic, while the second is more action oriented(you will be satisfied, i promise). I'm not trying to spoil anything. my only hope is that by stating this outright we can circumvent some of the more obvious haters. they'll be here anyway, but do your best to ignore them, as, despite protests of "my opinion is valid," or " you stupid fanboy" (etc...), yokohama will manage to tie together/answer a lot of questions that people have been asking about the series/MC |
