| Just picked up this anime I am super late lol will only watch current animes from now on. These discussions have definitely cleared up these two episodes for me! I am still on the fence about this series but i am hoping to get into it. I watched Another first two episodes TWICE and dropped it before finally I committed to get through the first 3 episodes and if I still didnt like it Id quit, and I ended up liking it ^__^ |

| it's been explained that the information about contractors is being kept concealed from the public and anyone who comes to know something about them, gets his memories erased. episode as a whole had a more sad atmosphere. the soundtrack that's been used when both of them were lying in the room was nice. the exact difference between contractors and dolls has yet to be revealed. it came as a surprise for me that a character which got introduced over two episodes happened to be a plot device only. still it was an entertaining reveal. |

| Good episode. I'm still not clear exactly what the Dolls are. I get that they have no emotions, but are they humans who have been turned into these Doll things? Or are they some sort of robot constructs? What are they? |

But I think the deal here is that Li, despite being a contractor himself, didn't want to kill Chiaki, even though it would have been beneficial for him. So yeah, he appears emotionless and claims that he's a manipulative sociopath just like any contractor, and yet still has a hint of humanity left in him. So I guess that's the mystery, why is he different? |
| Kinda an okay episode. The action was too fast to follow and it didn't have the charm of the last episode. The cat made an appearance. The plot was cliche and there was nothing amusing about it. BTW, the police inspector has a reason to suspect Li. He gave his foreign id pretty quickly like he was prepared for it. Better keep an eye out. |

| Finally this anime has picked up for me, I wasn't convince by the 1st ep but I'm enjoying this one. Li has that dead eyes and sad atmosphere around him. Despite being a robot-like character, I'm interested to know how he became a contractor. |

| It looks like story arcs in this show are going to span two or more episodes each. I like it. Gives more room to develop each individual story. 20 minute episodes is not enough for a contained procedural story this show is going for. I wonder if this show is going to keep it or going to restructure itself later. |

| Great episode. Loved how the cat revealed that Hei was alive and infact... his coat isn't for showing, that it's bulletproof. The delivery in the dub for that line was pure awesome. And the action and twists as a whole were just great as a whole, a really good introduction arc for this franchise in showing glimpses of the kind of scummy world that people live in and the abilities at hand for each Contractor. Chiaki being a puppet in the current time was quite the twist, I've seen this show years ago and I didn't remember it at all. Good stuff. |
| Just gonna say this is ironically a nice breath of fresh air despite its setting and tone, from all the trash anime I’ve been watching recently. So this series is going to be episodic in nature? Except we get two episodes devoted to one story, which I dig. Watched cowboy bebop a couple months ago and while I liked it, the best parts were the few times (was it like 3, or 2?? lol) where we get a story that is a 2 part structure instead of just the singular one. Glad to see that's probably what they're doing here, perhaps with a background overarching theme that will be tied up in what looks to be the final 3 episodes of this series? Anyway, so far enjoying it a lot, hope it continues on this hot streak. |

| Oh that wasn't the opening apparently. That woman already died, after just 1-2 episodes, but at least she was able to think in the end. Good episode. Hei looks badass, I love that! |

| I was actually thinking that did that lady not have the slightest suspicion of Hei? I mean it's like, there's a guy who just became her neighbor and he unwittingly got this far involved with her even to the point of asking her to run away together... but then I thought maybe she was so desperate that she didn't think about it anymore and thought of Hei as the one who would help her.... and boom, it was just a doll? I was fooled.... But Hei was still manage to eat all that food even with just a few spoonfuls and bites. That's pretty impressive, honestly. Though, what's even more impressive is that he has so many "powers" as a contractor. A bulletproof jacket, I don't know what it is but something wired, and his power as a contractor. I don't know what he offered to get all that... He's a liar, a traitor, a good actor and a killing machine. His eyes kind of scare me (seriously) but I'm a little relieved to see that he still has a bit of humanity in this episode. |

| Lots of dead people this episode, seems like only our three main characters and the police guys are left for now. Though we haven't really seen much of the silver-haired girl yet, but apparently she can control cats. |
