lol @ the pose. Finding an old sunglass. Clock is stopped and 55-mins. bell... for see through glasses #35? Ghost member from that sunglass. lol @ ghost member > wearing momento glass "member". lol @ ghost member following club leader.

Ghost member is a ghost because he broke that sunglass from his classmate, had a fight, and died from accident because he decided to apologize to him. So he's the friend of shop owner.

That "fuwa fuwa" guy as the preview guy.

I see that they're now adding super natural effects to this show, that ghost guy was a bit weird, and I feel that the only reason Hayato could see him was due to him having good vision. I couldn't take that back story with the ghost guy seriously though, but it sucks that he died for a silly reason like that. But I guess his reunion with his old friend was alright, I wonder what other situations the glasses club are going to get themselves into.

Glasses are truly a matter of life and death!

I'm probably repeating myself but I absolutely love the visuals in this. While it's a bit sparse with its animation it just has style en masse! Hopefully with this being her first full-length tv anime show Soubi Yamamoto will get more opportunities to helm direction for less silly and more ambitious series in the future.

Why don't I have my own Meganebu at school?! D: I would love to have a cute clubroom with glasses wallpapers and stuff.

It was a nice episode. I kind of missed the "All You Need Is M-E-G-A-N-E" and "Me-Ga-neh-Buu-ooh~" songs. LOL The animation was really nice this episode, even if they were still lazy to draw the block classmates.

The school at night looked so pretty~ Mitsuki was too happy being looked at Akira with those glasses, LOL! I can see how the creators are having fun with this series... xD Akira was even sleeping with his glasses on, pfff! xD And saying "people wearing glasses cannot be bad", ahahaha XD

Wow they should just rename the Megane-club to Yukiya club instead.
Since i'm pretty sure the skill to make glasses that allow you to see ghosts is higher than the skill it takes to make x-ray glasses.

This episode might have been reaching and maybe silly at times but I liked it.

People are wetting themselves over LB! Refrain but here I am getting the feels from Meganebu!
Sorry?

Lovely to see someone directing something that isn't made by Shaft who is not afraid to add some different styles into the mix.

I couldn't agree more. I think visuals are one of the most important things in anime and Meganebu is, for me, a visual eyegasm. Absolutely love it!

This episode was suprisingly heartwarming, I thought it was very touching.

i just realized that omg lmao he would.

this episode started off really silly, even more than the past episodes, but it changed into a really touching ending!! They are seriously so dumb most of the time but if you really think about it, they have a lot of skills and great organization when it comes to accomplishing these ridiculous plans. I give them lots of credit, even if it's for something silly like switching all the clocks in the school lol.

idk why i cracked up so hard every time the ghost would just float away in Akira's room. I really liked their interactions together. I actually teared up towards the end. It's really nice to see friends making up again and settling all the unnecessary grudges. I know how that feels, so i definitely wouldn't want to leave this world without saying certain things to my close friends haha.

To me, Mitsuki is canonly gay after the (failed) x-ray glasses scene.

Koichi~~~!! This was so cute and heartwarming! I never imagined that this anime would legimately give me feels ;w;
Akira's brother in the horoscope, I was waiting for the cream-puff guy (forgot his name).

AND HOW COME NO ONE NOTICED THAT THE CLOCKS ONLY HAD 55 MINUTES?! D:

Best episode so far, I guess. c: (though is too early to say this...)

Yesss I would love to see her direct another anime after this, maybe with her own script/idea for the story since I loved the Kono Danshi OVAs.

I also agree that as silly as this episode was (as usual), it can still be heartwarming and make me tear up. I think Yamamoto is great at creating the atmosphere as well as blending the comedy with the more serious parts. Anyways, only Meganebu would go that far to get out of class 5 minutes earlier XD And omg that x-ray glasses song had me cracking up!

After watching the awfully boring second episode, I was going to drop this. But, after watching this one, I've decided to go on.
It wasn't so bad. I hope they don't make more episodes like the second one though.

Also... am I the only one who finds Mitsuki annoying?

Nah, same here. I keep picturing Nitori from Free! and I didn't like him all that much. However I can tolerate Nitori far more than Mitsuki.

I was honestly disappointed in the first two episodes, however I really like the turn of events with the second half of this episode. I'm definitely sticking with this show if they churn out episodes like this. It really fit the whole slice of life genre they were going for, which they lacked in the first and second episode.

My biggest beef is with those block background characters, why can't they have faceeees???? D:

While it does excel better as a comedy, it's not impossible to make it a slice of life. It's very possible they can balance both comedy and depth.

Free!, while not as over the top in comedy, was able to pull off depth into it's series. It wasn't just eye-candy and muscles, it successfully made the depth fit into the story without it feeling awkward or forced.

TL:DR - it still needs work on depth in it's storytelling.

Dudes, I was kinda disappointed far off more than most people cause I know the director from before this show and her other works (which were all based on her own stories) are awesome. But, visuals aside, this one was kinda fail from the very beginning. This third episode was more like Yamamoto-sensei's other works, I was even happy because of that and I hope it will get better. I dont think Ill be dropping it cause I really like the director, but... I don wanna be any more disappointed than I was after the second episode.
Btw the block students are just like her xD i think she means they dont metter at all. In one of her other animes, the food was like those colored bars when the tv is out of signal xD

Wow. The part of arguing over glasses was a bit too much but wow, people do die from stupid things (trust me there have been dumber deaths than this one). My heart was scrunching up like an intestine. Once what I thought was an average series is a great series. Great job, Meganebu!

I hope they can revolve more stores around their characters... and glasses. Like maybe someone's parent died and the megane user's glasses was once their parents, or something.

I'm in the other team - I tolerate Mitsuki more. He at least has some character aside from "I'm hots for senpai" shtick. Not that he's my favourite guy in this show, but when I'm presented with Nitori "Please, notice me finally, senpai" and Mitsuki "I will go over hot coals for you, senpai - including killing the other shouta", I prefer the latter.

The drama was silly, but damn, was it executed nicely. This show has substance, I like it.

Still thought the humor was pretty dry... but that reunion gave me all kinds of chills. Would like to see some more supernatural type stuff in this show... that would at least help keep my attention.

Also, I liked the idea of making 55 minute clocks... even if it's only 5 minutes per class. That would still make a big difference, though I believe my classes in high school were 55 minutes anyway.

I find Mitsuki to be very annoying, especially to Hayato and Hayato is my favorite character (after Yukiya).
Also, after learning more about Hayato and why he wears fake glasses made hate Mitsuki for being so mean to him.
