What's up with those identical looking people in the first half ;o I can't take bath scenes of this show seriously though except for the apology. Oh my, that is a beautiful tree this episode. It kinda brings me that family mood again that are talked about in this series. |

| Have a bad feeling about the election. While the Nise-emon election is the main plot point you have this second one slowly brewing in the background which is the Friday Fellows Tanuki Hot-Pot. The Ebisugawa's plan probably has to do something with either feeding Yaichiro or another of the Shimogamos to them. Kaisei's apology plus the next episode preview showing more of Soun Ebisugawa imply this strongly -Bahaha loved the little touches like Yasaburo messing with the Tanuki transformed as the Center Stone or him warming his butt -Yasaburo how could you not pick up on Kaisei's feelings when you brought up Benten? You're usually perceptive with this kind of stuff |

| I'm not sure how this election will go, especially consider what Kaisei said to Yasaburo at that bath house, those two brothers have something up their sleeve, and that apology that Kaisei gave might to something unfortunate. But it's about time that they showed Kaisei's face, I find her more attractive than Benten, and I'm surprised that Yasaburo doesn't notice her jealously over Benten. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Every episode asks more questions than it answers. I'm really looking forward to how they resolve everything with these last few episodes. Nice to see Kaisei before the finale. |

| Another awesome episode. Finally we get to see Kaisei :D...and she's as cute as I hoped >_< She's totally jelly of Benten too <3 C'mon Yasaburo, pick it up =_= Also wondering why Soichiro fears Benten?? This ep had some bad vibes being foreshadowed. I really hope nothing that bad happens :( |

| as usual, thank you so much art director-sama for the beautiful scenery in this episode finally got to see Kaisei, and I was about to scream in joy when Kaisei went to the well where Yajirou is residing and I thought I could watch an interaction between them but ahhhh I can only hope ;-; a funny moment between those two ex-fiancees and Yasaburo being an idiot again, warming his butt, smoking out the Centre Stone (shota Yasaburo!!) and singing a song while making fun of Yaichirou hahahahah very nice episode, sad that this is going to end in a few eps |

But I'm sure she could assume like we did, let's hope Yasaburou will too. All eyes are on Yaichirou, but I have a feeling Yajirou will sacrifice himself if it comes to it :/ Only thing is I have a hard time believing the Ebisugawa brothers would stoop that low, but I'm thinking the next episode might show Soun is the kind of tanuki that would. Souichirou already knew all about Benten and was petrified by her, maybe that's all there is behind him going silent when she woke up next to his cage. That apology is of course intriguing, I don't think it has something to do with Sou, but rather the breaking off of the engagement or her reluctance to show herself to Yasaburou. |

| Well, the fact that Souichiro was unable to transform in Benten's presence would explain why he was captured and eaten so easily. Though there are probably a few more things we still don't know about. It looks like Kaisei has a rather ambigious relationship with her family. While she helps out the Shimogamo family out as much as she can she isn't willing to let Yasaburo's insults towards her brothers slide who she acknowledges as idiots herselt and refuses to give away her family's trump card. She may not agree with her father's and her brother's actions but she does seem to value her bonds to them to a certain extent. She is quite frank with Yasaburo and I have to agree with her that Yaichirou might not be fit to be the Nise-emon. As we've seen before he tends to loose his head when faced with dire situations. In contrast to him Yasaburo almost seems alarmingly calm even during the most dangerous moments (most of them caused by Benten) and doesn't let his emotions bedazzle him, keeping the balance whereas his siblings tend to overreact. |

| If Kaisei actually liked Yasaburou then her hatred for Benten is understandable. With the death of Souichirou the engagement was nulled, which would be Benten's fault even if not directly. She might also have sensed Yasaburou's attraction to Benten. The series is giving you bits of the puzzle each episode, it defines some part of the story yet it also presents new elements, and you slowly start to get the sense of the big picture. not any show can pull this off as neatly. |
| Good episode. Music is great as always. As far as the conversations, I'm split. The first half was sort of boring, the bath scene was great. Maybe because I don't take the time to memorize more than 4 characters names, the story doesn't seem that intriguing |

| YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! THEY SHOWED KAISEI. I can rewatch that bath scene infinitely just because they finally revealed Kaisei's appearance. I love her look, definitely suits her character. Not to mention her Tsundere character is a plus for me. Kaisei > Benten. She must really like Yasaburo. She's stalking him 24/7 lol. I think the meaning of her sorry is that she witnessed the capture of Souichirou and couldn't do anything about it or her family is involved in Souichirou's death. I think Kaisei really knows a lot. Her words have a lot of meaning. She's wise so I'll believe her and say Yaichirou will not be the next Nise-emon. I wonder who will it be. Well I'm pretty sure it will not be Soun either. Poor Kaisei. Yasaburo not noticing her feelings and even bringing up Benten. I think Kaisei hates Benten because of her relationship with Yasaburo and also because she witnessed the death of Souichirou. I'm curious on the meaning of her hitting the basin with both of her hands. I wonder what it is. Last episode, we concluded that Souichirou already know that he is going to die or at least ready for it but now that we know that he couldn't transform or fight back because of Benten's presence I wonder what really happened. |

| Nothing surprising about Kaisei hating Benten, nor do I think there has to be a deeper meaning to it. Being her mortal enemy, the person who caught her uncle, and the girl who her ex-fiancee is infatuated by seems all reason enough. Deciphering why she apologized is a whole other ordeal though, there's just so many options like others summed up. The most likely ones being their engagement being broken of, or her father possible being behind Souichirou's death. If the latter is the case, and he's thinking of doing the same thing with Yaichirou, I hope Souun gets his cum upping ending up in the pot himself. |
| Akadama-sensei is the one who has to choose the next Nise-emon.At first he doesn't want to go,but is convinced by Yasaburou. Yasaburou meets Kaisei in the bath house,and she warnings him that the Ebisugawa family are going to try to do something to Yaichirou. Nise-emon election next episode,based on the title I'm guessing Souun made some kind of deal with the Friday Fellows to get Souichirou in a hot pot and is going to try to do the same to Yaichirou.To guarantee he becomes the Nise-emon. |

| I think the twins from the other family have made a deal to get the elder brother in the hot pot, that one guy in the Friday fellows is desperate to capture a tanuki for his acceptance into the club. Maybe that's why Kasei said she was sorry to Yasaburo. |

| Little Yasaburou smoking the Center Stone XD What a cute mistake. And of course Yasaburou is the one that helped convince Akadama sensei to go to the Nise-emon, he really knows how to handle the sense while all the other tanuki are initimidated. Nice episode, and I like how we got to see Kaisei finally, though I'm still not used to her harsh way of speaking...Seems like something bad will happen next episode. |

| I really wanted to see Kaisei because she's always been hiding ever since the beginning. I wasn't disappointed; she's cute! And in the bath no less! I'm pretty sure she doesn't like Benten because there may be something between Yasaburo and Benten. Kaisei's so tsundere to him. I really hope her and Yasaburo end up together. :) I'm afraid of what her idiot brothers are planning this time. :/ |

| Really good episode as always, developing even further ^^ I like that they saved seeing Kaisei until now, kept me wondering the whole time (though I knew they'd eventually show her). I hope Yaichirou gets to be leader. I have this feeling Kaisei might have been chosen for the stew, but either way it seems apparent that she knows something. , and great OST at the end, around the tree. 5/5. |

I'm actually surprised that so many people think that Kaisei actually likes Yasuburo instead, made me think that either the subs got that scene wrong or I really have a bad memory. I'm actually glad that Kaisei isnt in love with Yasuburo because if she did then it would become a love square lol. This show doesnt need such drama D: ! |
