| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  Dat opening. Shit goes down with the explosions and soundtrack. A nice relaxing episode actually with rowing the boat in the river and painting. The soundtrack of this episode/series is probably one of my favorites now given the OST. The night scenes were also well visually depicted and so was that mystical creature: Nice episode. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Wow the next episode, their bloody past gonna be revealed, can't wait to see what was happened ... And, Saki x Shun ... a little nice there, since this show focuses too much on mystery, thriller stuff, at least it's refreshing to see some romance involved. Good episode, so that creature is the evolved computer ... hmm sounds interesting. |

| I love how this show is extremely slow paced but not boring at all. Frankly, I think it's one of the best this season which is filled with a bunch of action shows. Finally they're getting to the actual plot of the show, but that setup was really well done. I'm extremely excited for the next ep!! Aww that ShunxSaki moment was adorable |

Music didn't really suite me this episode, just didn't fit very well IMO. And am I the only one that find Shun an incredibly boring character? The subs I saw kept calling their psychic powers "The force", weirded me out a little lol. |
 If you really want to fit in, just put Legend of the Galactic Heroes in your top 5 and have it be the only 10-rated anime in your list. |

| Good episode. I like how every time we have a different opening theme related to the past, which I think is important for the plot later.And DAT music!!! Next episode, we are going to find the truth or at least what happend that made the world be as it is now. Can't wait :D |

| This anime is so fascinating. I find myself wanting to know more and more about that world. Nice intro scene, non-psychic humans fighting back apparently A little side-note: Fansubs should try to coincide with one name for the psychic powers the kids have. Gravity, Cantus, the Force (lol)... which one is the most accurate, if any? Anyway, funny group to watch. And that minoshiro/library... the plot thickens. |

| The sakuga animation used for the intro was beautiful. Did the assassination of the emperor lead to the end of this era or were the assassin's efforts in vain? Once again it's Shun who encourages a member of his group to do something against the rules set up by their community. |

Yeah, I was really confused during the second episode, it probably sounds good, but I really couldn't picture what it was supposed to mean and since it wasn't the Japanese term used, I really don't know why they translated it like that. The Force is my favorite. |
| Well, it seems like we're about to get to the thick of the plot. I'm actually amazed with how little plot they've managed to keep this interesting so far. At first that was one of my biggest worries but they've really expanded on the world well. |

That's because you must have watched Hadena's Ep 1 (which was horribly, horribly bad; it is Hadena, after all), UTW's Ep 2 (who have always used the inexplicable translation "Cantus") and then Aidoru's Ep 3 (who have always used "the Force"). onedaysnotice said: I vote for Cantus, sounds the most badass and eerie Except "Cantus" actually has a meaning: The highest voice in a vocal ensemble. Juryoku means, literally, "Mystical Force". Therefore, translations that keep close to this are the best.  Great camping trip with lots of good Satoru, and even Shun moments. (Music during a montage is probably one of the best songs in this anime) Cast chemistry is really well done. Specifically teamwork based magicks has many great applications in just this trip that I liked especially all involved in catching stuff (and how they focus on their eyes when they do it). The evil minoshiro plot is interesting and really liked that scene, just Saki's confidence in challenging it. Cant wait for revelations next episode I guess. To think that there is still technology left in this world, thousand years later. Just to what extent is this Education Board hiding and shielding from the normal peoples |
