According to the following family picture,

Ruri looks to have a twin sister. Now it would be interesting if it turns out that the crystal she has is her sister's soul but alas the truth is far more gruesome. According to the following spoiler

the sister of Ruri is entrapped in a crystal while she is still alive as Alma heard her heart beat. Now that is pretty screwed. Unfortunately Kagami had to pay a nasty prize for revealing all this in the spoiler

that slap was totally ouch.

The monster was EPIC in the following,

it was far better than the monster of the first episode. Way better than I would think of such a vast improvement that includes an air fight and a most amazing Ruri/Alma pose in the spoiler

now that was nice. Other than that it is to note that the monster's dragons have a rather interesting power in the spoiler

and as such it is rather well explained here of what they can do. So the computer is rather a powerful information tool. I was totally surprised that the monster had these dragon heads too and that they spew out fire. One of the best intense moments is when Alma saved Ruri from being eaten by one of the dragon heads in a split second time in the spoiler

that is really close. I find it more baffling that upon Alma choosing that same weapon he did on Medusa, fires it and it blows up in one shot the insides of the monster. I highly suspect he aimed properly at that crystal inside. Well in any case the most baffling and IMO a little cheap is that all of the monster including its dragon heads wither away in the spoiler

I find it kind of too convenient for an aftermath.

About Ruri, I want to say that I am incredibly satisfied with Ruri's many appearance in the spoiler

it was even nicer to see her when she was child. Ruri's place is very elegant and vast. My most favorites is Alma x Ruri scene in the spoiler

it is totally undeniable that she did not have any feelings for Alma there. Her face being all red is a dead giveaway.

The story of the dark stone coming in as a meteor in the spoiler

is rather interesting considering that foreign life forms do come from space and that that meteor contains seven dark stones from the looks of here.It was rather very screwed at what kind of mutation it did on some humans in the spoiler

as it shows clearly the classical 6 wings angel.
I did not notice how small Ruri is here to Alma.
This is one hell of a Red Hole in the spoiler

and definitely out pawns the one from Deadmen Wonderland. There is also that English speaking guy here with his friend from the army. I ROFL at how it sounded.
Loved seeing the enemy of Alma in the spoiler

as he looks bad ass but not only that! Apparently he can hide himself in the ground through a portal here. Now that is fascinating at how exactly that works out.
It is to note that the worm monster initially seen here can in fact fire out a laser in the spoiler

I am just wondering what would it want with this canister. Well in any case I feel bad for the crew that blew out in the plane. It had those English speaking guys.
It is to note that Alma's crystal taken away in the spoiler

does in fact have the same texture that Ruri's heart shaped crystal has. Alma was so cool here with his first activation of his powers being all rage worthy.
Love in the intermissions in the spoiler

their art is perfectly unique and appealing in the style it uses.
Loved the fact that Alma used another sign and of all things that sign produces a hover-board in the spoiler

now that is cool and so reminded me of “Back To The Future” the movie. Most of all I loved how Alma was holding Ruri here while on the hover-board.

About the ED, it had much appreciation from me in regards to featuring some kick ass frames of Alma and Ruri in the spoiler

those were really nice and the one from the enemy of Alma. There is also one of Ruri here that I like.

About the preview, a strong episode awaits us as I am getting hyped up for what awaits in the spoiler

that fight shall be most interesting. There is that guy who apparently will activate some cage around him and that supposedly gives him a suit like Alma has. There shall be more monster fighting and the enemy of Alma is coming full force. I want to know who is that in the suit here and the powers of that enemy when he blocks a hit, are rather interesting.

Does Ruri meet Alma before when they was kid?
It's looks pretty much the same guy but Alma doesn't seem to remember her at all, is that the reason she put her trust into him?

He was bullied and lost his pendant. (Those guys got what they asked for, annihilation)
New enemy comes. We need the hero. So the butler told him about Ruri's twin sister.
He got thrown out of the aircraft. (Go! Go!)
And Ruri flew out too, carrying only faith within him. (Oh shit, don't screw up, man)
As expected of STAR DRIVER look-alike, hero rules.
Nice moment between Ruri and Aruma. (I like this, because there's Ranka's voice)
And so she knows him long ago. (And falls for him since then?)

woo background on Alma, Ruri and wakana (sorta...) The reason for Alma's rage in the past has been revealed =o I take it that pendant is also a memento of his mother like ruri's
love the school transformation scene LOL 380yen for that steak, thats pretty awesome
Alma mustve had a huge growth spurt o_O; hes even taller than kagami ._.; Epic monster was epic and that red hole of doom was crazy o_o

On another note, is Alma like, the longest Japanese ever?
Gettan' Eureka Seven vibes from the whole boarding thing, but I get the feeling this'll be better than E7.
Anti-climatic battle is anti-climatic.
And I'm liking Nakajima Megumi more and more, all the time.

Oh and, Onigawara is awesome as hell. Σ(゜д゜;

I'm just curious on how does ruri have so many gems/jewels that is needed to activate the powers of arma and what does ruri mean when she says "I'll take your memories" then activates arma's power

hopefully, on the next few episodes it will get answered haha, anyway, 5/5 episode for me since I got to see a new weapon of arma and a romantic scene between him and ruri

Alma's personality change too much when transform oni.His intention changed as well, I don't even recognized him anymore oniii

This episode fighting is Eureka's style KLF .Its kinda lame the big boss get killed so fast .The enemy is always more cool than megaman as always imo oniii

I also feel bad with onigawara, without him, the battle would have dragged on since arma doesn't know where to hit the enemy...

delicious nakamegu loli and the best production values of the season by far. Great fun to watch, nothing special but rather nice

the ending to fight was anti-climatic but apart from that it was very impressively made. Liking this show.

i just cant like this anime for some reason. the animation is too.....how do you say, cheap and rushed. the dialogue doesnt flow well...

and they just keep throwing things in there like.. oh, this hepens becuase oh btw i used to know him when i was a kid.....blah blah blah.

the whole thing just feels like someone wants to tell a good story, but they don't have time to spend on the crucial details.

Wut. It's got by far the best production values this season. Animation quality (just look at the fight in the end) is pretty much incomparable to anything else airing right now that isn't Nichijou

It's fun, dumb action show to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

At least we got some info on things here. But it's coming off as weak and lulzy. Megaman Arma is cool though. I'd like to see all the features of his powers.
Also, Onigawara is the best character here, nuff said.

I find it weird that the butler has the family pic in his phone/device. Just sayin'

I was hoping Tandoji would transform without Ruris help in this but still a good episode. The preview for ep 3 looked good. Looks like we'll finally be introduced to some other key Dark/Lightstone players and finally that mysterious Darkstone that was hanging around in the first ep.

Probably the guy who is in the other suit is probably the one who has a sacred 7.

....official subs suck...it was enjoyable other then that and the fight seemed rushed to me and a little to easy. and I dont like how she is so sure he will always be there to protect her.

Jackie Chan Adventures has much more entertaining plot than Sacred Seven. Not that I hate Jackie Chan Adventures, not at all. That show was awesome. But what I'm implying is that the plot wasn't the forte of the Jackie Chan Adventures. That's how ridiculously dumb the plot of Sacred Seven is.

I'll be dropping this for now. I'll keep following the discussion threads to see if it gets better, but I doubt I'll pick it up again in the future. That is all.

I think there is yeah. It's not really dumb. It's more something new that was before used already. It may be bad depending on how you see it. Guess Bern there, seeing this show dumb may not be as enthusiastic as I am towards this show.

hm...nooot really the greatest episode...

Things are moving WAY too quickly.

There were many annoying parts, especially that girl.

The fight was to be honest, lame. They make a huge deal out of the Darkstone, and then he kills it in about 5 seconds.

My overall 'like' for this show definitely decreased...

I mean, it wasn't terrible...but seriously not great either.

LOL, this show is terrible, easily the worst of the year so far. I only watched the second episode because the first had decent animation, so I thought I'd give it another chance, but this was just about unwatchable for me. Dropped like an anvil off a cliff.

I really don't like this show so far...

She doesn't have time for a parachute? Literally? My goodness, that was pure stupidity.

The more & more I look at her I think of Blossom off of PPG...

I was hoping this episode would clear up why there was so many darn maids running around, but it didn't. It did however give some back story, but it was sooooo cliche that it brought down the overall rating [from a 4 to a 3].

The butler is the only redeeming character to this series.

2/5 3/10...I really don't want to drop another series, so I am going to keep watching.

hmmm nothing amazing happened in the action department but they took some time to explain some of the background of the characters. They gave a lot of info on Arma's background, the incident, when he meets the club girl and also some kind of event with the rich one as well.
Sadly the battle was trully lame, just hit on the obvious week spot was not really a good way to go with this.
Also the rich girl doesn't really want to force him into this, yet she jumps out of the plane without parachute and force him to transform.... =S

Two episdoes in, not so bad so far. I just wish they reduce the amounts maids, it really prevents me from taking this anime seriously.

hmm i really really wanna like ruru....but all i here when she talks is Ranka. and that just makes me want to flay cute animals. >8( this series definitely has a tranformers/xmen for me when i watch. im watching it for the lolz. as planned/expected. from the rate things are going it wont even live up to KIRABOSHI. so yea....lowwwwwww expectations. maybe some moon prism power would help alma be a little less of a bitch.

Dude, you could write a five page essay on a paper bag, I swear to God! XD

Anyways, despite how terribly cliche and ridiculous this show is, I don't really dislike it. We could use a villain, a few more side characters (Sacred Seven. Wait, now I'm reminded of the magnificent seven...), a bit more of an explanation for this and that, lack of rushing, etc. I think what bugged me the most is that they threw in how Ruri met Arma, how the schoolgirl met Arma, AND Ruri's crystalized sister all in the same episode.
