Something about me... lets see now.
Well, I've been an anime fan for some time now. My first memory of anime (besides watching Pokemon and other TV anime my generation grew up on) was watching Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke when I was around 10. Though I didn't fully grasp it at the time, it was a movie that both captivated and terrified me; needless to say it left quite an impression. I causally watched anime until Toonami aired its "Month of Miyasaki". I tuned in to re-watch Princess Mononoke, and ended up also watching Spirited Away. It then dawned on me how brilliant anime was and I quickly submerged myself in it via Adult Swim. Since then I've been completely enamored with the media, despite some of my friends annoyance with it.
Besides that, I'm a big film buff in general. While my preferences lean toward the cerebral, epic adventures, and grand explorations of humanity, I'm open to watching just about anything. I'm also fond of the macabre, and like to consider myself a connoisseur of horror anime in particular. I enjoy blabbering about things I love (or hate), and thus, I like writing reviews every once in a while. Feel free to comment on my profile, I'm a friendly person... for the most part.
