| Kai can be a really misunderstood person. Can't blame him for his looks but we got to see more of how others view him thorughout school. It seems this show has more troublemakers than I had thought. Some of Uka's reactions were natural but I do like how she managed to stand up against those guys at school. Kai showed his badass side this time too. |

| I mean, I don't know the justifications of whether or not "practicing in your head" truly counts as practice and leads to you getting better in reality, but whatever, she hit the shot at least though. Really can't tell if this is a shoujo I'm watching, or if it's a classic disney school set in high school because what the fuck were these disney ass bullies bro. Though, in disney, I doubt the one stopping the bullying would go as far as throwing a desk.. LOL. I liked that scene a whole lot. I dunno what it is though, but this episode felt reallyyyy rushed compared to the first. Like wayyy to much stuff happened this episode. Though, those last few minutes help with this a bit, giving Ishimori and Miura some solid time to actually talk things out. Had some problem with this ep, but at least Ishimori HAS found out her feelings for him this early on. |

| Ishimori needs to work on her self confidence a lot. Muira needs to work on expressing himself. Both characters have their problems Ishimori is the one who needs to work on it most tho she needs to come out of her shell something Miura is trying to help with. These two character seem like they could make something nice together but for now there is a lot of work. It should also be mentioned that the bullies the guys and the girls are the most pathetic people i have seen in a while. |

| Uka will never be ballin- *spits cereal*  Miura has an uncanny ability of showing up at the right place at the right time, and apparently poetry. Turning "stone" into "gemstone" is so damn sweet and symbolic for how simple of a change it is. |
| In series like this, I usually enjoy the female lead more than the male. However, it definitely flipped in this series. Ishimori is tough to watch and she didn't improve much at all from the first episode. Unless you count her calling out for Miura when she was in trouble. I guess that is a minor improvement. However, Miura topped himself from the first episode and already was liking his character after that one. Since it was mentioned several times in this thread, Visualization Training is 100% a real thing used by the top athletes and professionals in the world. Strange there are people doubting it. Obviously, you would pair that with physical training for proper results, but what do you think makes your muscles move your arms to shoot a basketball consistently in the first place? Hint, when someone says, "muscle memory," the muscles themselves are not remembering shit, lol. |

PEOPLE ARE BLIND OR WHAT??? i'm not here to insult anybody but come on this episode, wow, the music can bring you more emotions to the scenes, i love the chara but the eyes, wow we a b..., this girl hum and this kind of MC, how can we not feel something for her she is "already" falling in love, and I understand that... i almost put 10 but that was the emotion after this beautiful ep i'm a romance master and trust me,I can tell you when we have a real gem in front of us... |

| I wouldn't mind the typical Shoujo trope of a handsome guy looking after the girl, if the show wasn't so clumsy and insane about them. Immediately captivated by her, right from the pretty-ordinary chance meeting. Tracking her absolutely every waking minute, walking into every situation relevant to her (her dad's visit, bullies scheming), instantly appearing when she's in danger, implausibly solving everything (TWO delinquents came all the way from a neighboring school into the school, and then got scared of one guy throwing a desk around...?). Infinitely patient with her issues, telling her exactly what to do and smiling at her. Bluntly delivering every life-changing line she wants and/or needs to hear. He literally says stuff like "I'll make your dreams come true" and "you are a gemstone" in the second episode, come on... He even put his hat on her head, that's another checkmark off the list. Very disappointed. Is this all it takes to become a popular Shoujo romance? |
| I really hope the protagonist manages to evolve over time because, being so shy, she’s really dependent on Miura. And he reprimands her for everything, it’s like he’s her dad lol. |

Already seeing so much improvement from Ishimori, recognising how she can be more confident and setting goals for herself! I’m rooting for you, girl! Seems like Miura might be a little more oblivious though? He’s good at giving advice, but kinda awkward himself lol. Good thing he got his friend there to let him know how much the shit he says means to Ishimori. And can we talk about how dumb the girls were that tried bringing in thugs from the outside to beat up Ishimori like wtf. Getting expelled over a dumbass beef 😭 |

| Kai is cool and everything but my favorite so far is Tomoya, the voice of reason and I liked it a lot that conversation at the end, also pushing Kai to not get too cocky about Ishimori. |

Even though Ishimori hasn’t made huge progress with her personality, at least she realized she’s in love with Kai. In most other anime, the protagonists would’ve taken half the season just to figure out their feelings. |

| Well I’m really enjoying the moments between Uka and Kai so far, like others have said that gemstone line was sweet, but holy shit these bullies are on another level lol, actually called up their boys to do something terrible to Uka, was that loud ass glass breaking sound them breaking into the school before that? Absolutely unhinged behavior, if the bullies becomes friends later it will be hard to forget this, all because this girl is a bit stoned faced, at least Kai was there to kick some tail but damn lol. And I wasn’t expecting Uka to fall for Kai this early, she even mentioned it’s a feeling she didn’t know but figured it was love, kinda refreshing and I’m sure it’ll make the moments between her and Kai even better. And lastly, damn I just realized how good the OST is, makes me want to lie down in a sunny spot and take a nap, and I mean that in a good way lol, it’s very nice. |
