GoHands' art style is obviously very distinctive here with the designs, setting, etc To be fair, this has a somewhat interesting concept involving characters having to deal with the robotic thread. Not only that but Yuri seems like a likable protagonist. There's also some comedic moments added in so it's somewhat lighthearted despite the plot premise. Action is what I expected from the promos. Looks like most of the main cast is introduced so maybe they can take the time this season to develop them. |

After cooking so hard for two shows in one season back in 2023, the goats themselves, GOATHands, are back. And this time, they didn't just leave for a year for another romcom or SOL, no no no no, they left for AN ACTION SHOW??? It'd ben an understatement to say that this was my most anticipated show of the season. Right off the bat, I mean the story seems sort of simple, a group of girls with unique abilities band together to take down these robot invaders. This group of girls are certainly interesting, to say the least, I mean, in typical GOATHands fashion, all their hairs moves with just the slightest bit of movement... and it isn't just hair that moves for once of them.. hell, EVERY movement is a jiggle( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) And yeah, they are good, if not GREAT at what they do. If that four minute of straight RAW unfiltered action wasn't enough to tell you that, I don't know what. I mean, other than the comp being as garbage as it's always been in GOATHands productions, it looked so fucking good. Camera movements especially. They took it down, and job well done. Though, ofc, you can't just make a full on unfiltered action show, even though this is GOATHands, production would most definitely crumble quickly if that was the case, so they have to balance it out with everyone's favorite... COOKING! How they end up to cooking, well, they meet a girl who's lost and finds the group, and just like green bowtie girl, her jiggle physics go CRAZYYYYY. But yeah, she's now the official chef of the group. but yeah, was one fight not enough to prove to you that this'll be the best action of the season? Well don't worry because we got a two-in-one... in which we find out that our chef is ALSO one of these girls with unique abilities and takes down ALL of the robot invaders that pulled up. Although she doesn't have her memory fully, it seems like it'll show up when the group most needs it in dire situations, and that's the whole show basically. Gotta hand it to you, GOATHands. A CGDCT… that’s also an ACTION SHOW?! Yeah, that’s originality right there. I couldn’t be more excited to see what’s next. Honestly, I don’t even need to see more, this is easily the best show so far, and dare I say, the premiere of the season already |

The return of GoHands after 1.5 years since Summer 2023's Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta a.k.a The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses and Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu a.k.a The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today, the studio's distinctive look has never wa, though this is easily the most excessive that GoHands has ever gone, back to the level of Hand Shakers. Hanabie.'s heavy metal rock OP is pure illicit chaos, that's all I can say. For a start, the group of 5 girls of Erika Koudaiji, Hinageshi Usuzumi, Sazanka Yoshino and Ayame Sakuya, led by the blonde-haired Yuri Kawatsu, whom have themselves equipped with powers of their very own to deal with the "Wild Hunt" alien invaders from outer space, this is easily a cinch for them. However, with the arrival of the lone anomaly of Renge Kasumi seeing all of the small harmless robots roaming around her, and then spotting the girls as she tries to make an unsuspicous introduction, they try to calm her down seemingly with her excessive social PTSD. And to have a quickfire cooking session of Saury Himatsubushi from the shy girl herself, that's at least what keeps Renge going. To add to the fact, Renge having her own Andavari weapon certainly stands out dealing with yet more Wild Hunts, she's a certified amnesiac that needed a community to thrive, and Yuri's group is whom she needed to stay out of her loneliness. It's a GoHands show, that's to be expected, nuff said. |

Good start. Pretty cool looking show. Nice balance between the cozy moments and action. Gotta like the jiggle physics as well, hehe. Renge is quite OP. She destroyed those two Wild Hands instantly. |

There is a very good argument for Erika being best character, but I'm between Hina and Sazanka... That's only if I HAVE to choose one, 'cause everyone is great! The animation is what we've come to expect from GoHands, but I kinda like it. (That hair is crazy though!) Overall, it's a pretty solid first episode. |

OP good to look at, not as good to listen to. Animation very stylistic, I will probably like it when I get used to it. Just wish the backgrounds were less backdrop looking, Girls look great. Not enough story yet to judge. Not yet selected a best girl. |

Very nice start we get to see all the characters with each having very different personalities. Erika being big sister and Ayame being a leader is fun to watch. Yuri's don don don and Hina being gamer is epic too. Renge's cooking segment was so cute and adorable. But my fav is Sazanka just another level character! So far so nice! Good animation again by GoatHands themselves hehehe. |
I need somebody who can love me at my worst No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth 'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst If you stay forever, let me hold your hand I can fill those places in your heart no else can Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim |

I wish I could like this one but unfortunately the animation style is. That. I haven't seen this studio's other works, and I usually skip PVs so I can go in fresh, but this time around it's just not for me. Which is unfortunate because the story seems promising. |

idk if i like it or not like visually look good but there is so much going on is hard to keep up and also made me a bit dizzy what i did really like was the OP song because i love hanabie what i didn't like about the OP is the visuals, they are just scenes from the trailers a bit lazy honestly |

Renge's bizarre adventure. I feel like there is a bit of identity crisis but this first ep rocked. Opening is great, combat looks great, the jiggles look great. There was a lot of sensory overload which strangely felt great to me. The vivid colors make it extremely trippy too. lol |

One of the rare case of starting the episode with the opening these days, specially the first episode at that. Like Gohands unique style as always. Concept seems interesting and cool action with cute girls + high jiggle physics, enough said. They even mentioned too much jiggle in the episode lol. Also wow Kuno Misaki not voicing a loli and not using her loli voice for once. |

if a cringy 14 year old japanese girl with adhd were personified as an anime... this would be that anime. just like the rest of gen alpha, this anime has no direction nor needs no direction so long as it has sufficient timed dopamine releases for its demographic of tiktok viewers. |

I didn’t quite understand the concept, but I liked the graphics and the girls are cute. At first, it reminded me of magical girl anime, but then it suddenly felt like a cooking anime. At the same time, it mixes slice-of-life elements with subtle psychological undertones. The pacing is slow, focusing primarily on character introductions rather than plot development. Some of the character designs feel a bit generic, and while the tone is moody, it could benefit from more distinct visual cues that align with the psychological aspects of the story. It’s too early to judge the series as a whole, but Episode 1 does a decent job of setting up the premise, though it leaves room for improvement in both character development and world-building |

Glad they put world info in the middle of the episode, that was going to be my only real criticism if they hadn't but overall good so far. Characters all take on pretty exaggerated character types rather than trying to be more grounded and realistic, at least for now, so should be interesting to see which direction they go with it. Feels like it might get more serious later on like character deaths with the tone change at the end so I wonder if the characters will eventually break away from their own tropes. Also the Rock/Metal intro was nice considering how rare those are. |

The visuals are as horrendous as I expected. I thought they will learn to cast better shadows, because when static stock CGI background already has shadows, it would be proper to adjust characters shadows as well. This is such a rookie mistake and they are still doing this, even two years later. And those wavy hair looks especially horrendous. And clouds are still moving at hurricane level speeds. Nobody at GoHands ever looked at the sky? This is not cherrypick. It's like that throughout entie episode (and previous anime GoHands made). Gonna watch 2nd episode, because if it turns out that most of the effort and budget was spent on that trailer scene and everything will go downhill, it would be fkin hilarious. They forgot to make Table-kun cast a shadow. Holy shit. I refuse to believe that those are supposed to be cloud's shadows!!! |

I don't like at all the way the studio does backgrounds but I honestly thought I wasn't going to like this show one bit, the setting and clothes remind me of my beloved Freedom Wars, which is getting a remaster in a few days, so I'll just keep watching based on that and that Wakayama Shion is in the show, I like her voice a lot. |

I know some people are weird about this animation studio, but I thought this episode was FIRE. They managed to have tons of action on screen, tons of dynamic shots, likeable characters, cute moments, and a compelling world all presented without any of it looking cheap or relying on CG character models or other such shortcuts. I'm fully bought-in and expecting a super fun romp. |

Yea it’s definitely a Gohands anime lmao holy shit man it’s like their staff have ADD. I damn near had a seizure following the action in this episode. BUT I think the girls are cute, apocalyptic settings are my jazz and I’m wondering what happened to all the other humans why only the girls survived. This kind of has shades of Assault Lily, train to the end of the world and that show where the girls sat around the table drinking tea with designs from Tappei(can’t recall the name) . Lets see where it goes |

HOLY FUCK THAT WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE I LOVE IT! It needs to develop the characters more, but I do like how frantic everything is! If they can make the main cast more compelling and less cliche, this can be a great show! A bit nonsensical first episode, but also really fun! |

Well... I watched this episode and it's simply the worst premiere of the season so far, the story is simply poorly crafted and the characters are so stereotypical that they disgust me. And what was that horrible opening? With exaggerated actions and rubbish sound, my god, it was so poorly done. This was definitely crap from start to finish. My first anime I'll drop this year☺️🙏 |

OH MAI GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD That is the worst opening song I have ever heard in my life. Then the actual show starts, with these girls squeaking and giggling about girly shit. "My eczema gets really bad!" R U joking. IF the world ended, you wouldn't have the capacity to care. Fortunately (or not, depends...) it doesn't spend too long playing grabass. The action starts with a bang. Yes, I mean a really loud BANG. It nearly blew my TV speakers out because it was cranked up 11 OVER what the conversation part played at; and was much louder than the aforementioned deathmetal intro. What happens on screen is another type of explosion- just bright sparkling colors everywhere, CGI modeling and camera spinning around and around, and the fight some mechanical looking monsters (can't tell, moves so fast) while acting like they're playing dubstep at the mall- totally unafraid, laughing, smiling, striking poses, having a great time... so this show has made its point- it is not to be taken seriously. The girls themselves are annoying like girls tend to be; but I can say they are beautifully animated, perhaps too beautifully. They all look like stereotypical cute anime girls; not one of them has a homely face or awkward proportions; and one of them has these giant tits that wobble and sway and bounce up and down DURING NORMAL CONVERSATION WHILE SITTING DOWN. And their hair is also fully animated- like FULLY. It moves around constantly. I will say if this is supposed to be a post-apocalyptic world; they seem to have skipped the apocalypse part- everything looks shiny and immaculate; Japan's typically spotless concrete-brick paved pedestrian streets SHINE in the sun, there's not a spot of dirt or rust or cracks or decay; not a single weed, not a thing out of place. Every window reflects the sun and is perfectly intact, every building looks sparkling and well cared-for. I'd think if humanity was wiped out they would have fought first- and the automaton that shows up does smash a building; so if ALL of humanity died, then why aren't ALL the buildings also smashed? It feels more like they were just too lazy to animate any other characters, and so created this empty set for the girls to play around in like a video game. Even the cherry blossoms are blossoming and looks perfect. Renge is adorable, well all the girls kind of are, but in a CGDCT way, they all seem the same. Anyway, I sort of enjoyed this.. if you ignore the stupid intro and the idiotic premise, and most of the useless dialogue, it looks fantastic. The backgrounds are just CG models but look great; the girls are all pretty, Renge is cute and I like her funny face and how she turns black and white when embarrassed; and her chibi bit too. The animation of the girls is impressive, the colors are nice... so I'll watch another episode to see but if it's all just girls giggling and playing grabass for 12 episodes I doubt I'll survive its world. |

Actually, the rookie mistake isn't her shadow- it's the building. If the light is coming from above and slightly at an angle (i.e. just about 1PM) then the tree and character are fine- but look at the building! The building on the left has sunlight shining onto it, with a shadow cast from another building ( ?) suggesting sun is to the left of screen- but the tree suggests it's coming from behind the building (the face of the building should fully be in shadow) If that side is not in shadow, then there should be no cast shadow at the building's base like there is, and the tree's shadow and the character's should be moved to the opposite direction. Also- what's casting shadow on the building to the right- lower part? They clearly meant it to be the tree- but the trees shadow doesn't touch that building- so it's completely wrong shadowing. They'd be better off making it a noon scene and having just the tree have shadow directly beneath it. |

I was pleasantly surprised by the metalcore OP (I think it was metalcore, but I might be mistaken). I'm not completely sold on this show, but the girls seem mostly fun (although I hope I don't get sick of their catchphrases), and the visuals are fairly pretty and interesting to look at. I'm thinking this show might be a LOT of fun to watch after eating a THC gummy ;) And I like that they threw in a mystery when Renge declared that she doesn't have memories until a short while ago. I plan to give this the three episode rule, but I'm fairly optimistic that I'll stick with it |

Ngl, Erika's physics intrigued me to watch this but the post-apocalyptic setting and Renge being OP and not remembering anything now has me curious to watch this unfold. Overall I thought this was a decent premier except for the cooking segment felt a bit out of place. |
