| Not going to lie, I really like the female protagonist Takao in this first episode. She's confident, smart, and eager to prove herself. Episode has a mix of medical and also mystery vibes although isn't a full on detective show. The animation quality is so-so but it's Takao's character that sells the show. I'm curious if this will have a linear storyline or the weekly episode/arcs dealing with different cases. |

| Novelist Mikito Chinen's series is pretty much in the similar vein of the most recent detective series of Ron Kamonohashi, but in the realm of medicine. Never would've expected Aimer's OP to be here, though it's alright. The Gospellers feat. Anly's ED is also just OK. The patients withholding in Tenikai General Hospital's Emergency Department, they're the usual cases of people whom doctors of Yu "Little Bird" Takanashi and Mai Konoike take care of on the usual basis. But it's the Director loli of the Department of Investigative Pathology, Dr. Ameku "Hawk" Takao who can inspect the worst of cases, like a child having blurred vision due to too much Vitamin A to an elderly man having Anikiasis from eating raw sardine sashimi, treating them like crime scenes with actual deeper-than-most injuries, like a yakuza gangster with a severed leg and blue blood, that gets her all riled up. This is in the way of the study session with Takao wanting to go to the reopened Kurume Museum to see dinosaur skeletons. Not gonna lie, Takao having her own medical house that's on the hospital's rooftop, it works. As the title goes, Takao being the Doctor Detective to help out the Metropolitan Police, in the case of detectives Kimiyasu Sakurai and Ryuya Naruse investigating the incident of the gangster being killed in murderous intent. And Takao facing her uncle Director Owashi to realize the intensity of the developing case and back down from it, of course she wouldn't because the dead man is her patient as well. And the fact that Takao knows how the man died due to his injuries from the skeleton of a T-Rex, it's hard to believe, but that's the only way possible. This easily has the feels of the J-drama series Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon, or in American terms, House M.D. Hoping to have a good experience with this one. |

| Decent OP/ED. Aimer has some good songs. Ok start. We don't have too many good Medical anime. Takao's cute pout face. I got a new one to my collection. |

| Visuals look pretty nice, this style is interesting and nice but idk why they decided to go with a stylized low frame motion look for the ending. Song is quite nice though. Episode was interesting is the best way to put it. |

| Well so far it looks ok. A strange main with some personality issues which is not entirely unexpected and a enthusiastic newcomer and i normal doctor who seems to need help from time to time. This has potential but i didn't really feel it in this episode. Guess next week might reveal more. |
| This is a great start. As someone who's read some of Chinen Mikito's works such as Kizuato no Message, Kami no Dice wo Miagete, and Glass no Tou no Satsujin before, which the first two are my favorites. I really have high hopes for this anime. I hope this will turn out to be a great adaptation. |

| did they use hackertyper in the cold open the vitamin a and parasite diagnoses were like chubbyemu vids now a man with a leg bitten off and blue blood has died in a&e and Dr. Takao has taken interest(maybe it's connected to Dr. Takao mentioning Jurassic park to Kotori?) she lives in a small house on top of the hospital building. scolded by her uncle, another Dr. Ameku, for doing something not on he payroll and we have a typical detective duo right down to the outfits whom Takao must always help with their jobs like a private investigator oh so it did have something to do with it!!!! What's the cause of the blue blood? deprived of oxygen somehow? |

| Seems like the overused formula of "Sherlock and Watson" mystery, but I don't think I've deen loli doing the deducing since Gosick, I guess, which was ages ago, so I'll stick around for more. We have also seen a lot of main girl's cute feet, which is extra good. |

| I really liked the attention to medical details, reflecting the author's experience as a practicing doctor (I didn't know it, I discovered it while searching about the anime). The studio Project No.9 is doing a good job with the animation, presenting solid direction and an engaging narrative that convincingly combines medical elements and mystery |
| It's never Lupus...in fiction that is. I don't think this was a proper way to do a CPR. Too fast maybe? (A medical person should correct me.) Blue blood sounds familiar (from old documentary or something...before House M.D. and medical fantasy shows like that). Columbo? But kind of dumb and useless. I don't like the character designs, also the animation and the voice acting are mid. |

| “Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte”, or rather, “DOCTOR HOUSE: WAIFU EDITION”. As a huge fan of medical dramas, especially when mixed with mystery, this anime immediately caught my attention. It got off to a strong start, especially with an OP by Aimer (who consistently delivers amazing openings – another hit for the playlist). Although I jokingly compare the anime to Dr. House, the protagonist actually looks more like MaoMao from Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. The ongoing mystery surrounding the animal that ripped the guy’s leg off is intriguing. Considering Takao’s peculiar deduction about it being a dinosaur, it’s likely something like a Komodo dragon. But that still wouldn’t explain why the guy’s blood turned blue… Although I’m very likely wrong. |

| I wanted to think this show was an anime version of House MD (but w/ a female lead.) Though after watching. it seems that the show is not centered around the hospital. A better comparison is " the good doctor." With a more "expressive" lead. In terms of production, the art style is simple, animation is ok, the background characters are a little bit bland with a great op/ed. My only gripe is I hope the mystery explanations are logical and not "I'm a genuis, who could only see a tiny piece of the puzzle, t therefore solve the case." type writing. All in all, I'm surprised there aren't more medical type anime shows. |

And her uncle came off as pretty sketchy, almost as though he was trying to bury something. And his argument was effectively, "we pay you, so you can't solve this mystery, even if you choose to do it in your free time; in other words, we own you." Yah, acknowledge the moms reasoning was silly and can see the director appears suspicious. Though now that I think about it more what about meeting the detective near the gas station? She acted surprisingly cool and collected. Compared to the other interactions. |

| Some nice animation and quality. MC seems like she doesn't actually care about patients, so some arguments or fights coming up could be expected. |
