| Suicide Squad vs. Enchantress... Yeah so apparently this girl wasn't Poison Ivy, but Enchantress, the villain from the first Suicide Squad movie. Got her mixed up simply because of how similar of a design she had to the Poison Ivy from the new Harley Quinn series. That aside, unlike last episode, animation actually went stupid this episode. As well as some character for on one of the Suicide Squad characters after... hmmm. SIX FUCKING EPISODES. Seeing Harley Quinn cry is something I never thought I'd ever see. Only time I remember her crying is when her breakfast sandwich or whatever fell in BOP lol. Though ofc, with the squad failing, the kingdom just deems them as useless... just great. Thankfully though, pink haired dude and princess helped them out. Speaking of princess, that flashback was one of the first time I can see some of Tappei's writing in. Yet another jailbreak, and now it's time to get some revenge. |

| Much better episode than last week. Idk if they outsourced last week’s ep to save energy for this weekand the final stretch of the show or what, but this was more like it. Enchantress is such a cool character and I’m glad to see her in the anime loved her in in the first suicide squad movie, Cara Delavigne had me in a CHOKEHOLD lmao. What’s up with the enemies in this show using mind control though? Last villain was rat catcher controlling the Demi humans and monsters, now enchantress with the elves.. kinda got a theme of that with the queen as well with how she treats the princess and her nobles. Harley crying over the team when she thought they were dead was sweet, shows she really cares about them and sees them as the family she never had. Good thing Flagg showed up at the perfect time to get the squad out of that corner too. The queen definitely is the big bad of this isn’t she? How you gonna try to execute people that are helping YOU for essentially free lmao. She’s just seemed off now for a while to me. The flashback with the princess was pretty sad, but she did nothing wrong and shouldn’t beat herself up about it. Far as I’m concerned it wasn’t her actions that led to the boy’s death. He was hungry, wanted food and learnt the soldiers had food and did what any hungry kid would. It’s the leadership of the country aka the queen’s fault for not keeping her people fed π€·πΎβοΈ the soldiers are there to support the people, could’ve vetted him before instantly killing him. The first scene of this series that I could definitely feel Tappei working on. The Princess freeing the squad is her first act of proper defiance against her mother after the cracks have been showing for a while now. Sucks she was still beating herself up wondering if she were leading the suicide squad to their deaths :/ Hopefully the pace picks up a little in the next episode since we only have a few more left! Solid episode though |

Learned about Princess Fione and Cecil motivations to stop the war and now the squad motivation is more than just survival. A bigger storm is brewing.  |

| This episode had better animation than the last episode at least. But still, I'm not a huge fan of the colors. And the animation in general seems weak compared to Wit's other anime. Princess' backstory feels like Tappei wanted to humanize her and make the story a bit more about the characters than non-stop action. But I don't think this anime is gonna succeed with that due to the episode count and the characters involved. Should've just leaned most on action and comedy tbh. |
| Fight the mind-controlled elves, luckily doesn't didnt appeared a green elf with a bob cut. Someone said to me on the first episode, that was Enchantress was the one used to open the portal. If she is there, means that the portal is can be kept open indefinitely or was someone else. Everyone had a psychic damage. Harley not being really affected, means she really worked herself most of her trauma(?). Which is fantastic, and I want that power. |

| Well, that was certainly a killing of their kin, and the Suicide Squad are not happy of the culprit that they face: a witch and a mad scientist who's on the level of X-Men's Professor X. And try as the group can go, but it seems like there's no end to the mayhem, even with Enchantress being on the mad scientist's side, of which Rick has a mission to capture the old group from Amanda's orders. Thankfully, while the Suicide Squad and Rick were clearly outclassed by the elves, this falls on the Princess who has to fight against her mother to stop their execution, which will not help anything. Instead, her and Cecil helps them have a prison break not just out of attachment, but of a serious mantle of a second chance. Harley Quinn crying is definitely a rare moment, and the Princess having to see one of her friends die because of her own mistake, she's making the same decisions now, but at least there's Cecil to assist her. Yet another jailbreak, and the Suicide Squad are off to another round of revenge. |

| They lost, but now they will come back for a rematch, and I imagine they will give Tinker a beating this time, especially with Cecil and the princess on their side. What intrigues me is why Enchantress saved them; I don't think it's due to some connection with Rick as in the movie, since this Enchantress seems a bit more rational. |

| And we are back!! Thank goodness the Animation quality was much better than last episode, *fingercross hopefully the quality stay consistent until the end of the season. I don't want to see anything like episode 5 again. They have lost but they gonna come back for rematch and take the W. In the other hand, Princess backstory was quite sad. Typical classic Royalty mother want to control everything about her daughter life. |

| honestly I expected this to be insanely hot garbage but it's honestly pretty good solid 7/10 for this episode might raise or lower depending on action but the anime is good so far. Doesn't feel like a cash grab or any odd shit, just feels like a solid show with characters that I'm used to. Don't click that ^ if you're a softie |

This anime fully grown on me just of the character interactions, despite the idea of the execution and conclusion of the fight in the first half being kinda lame. For me is just funny seeing how all this superhero culture conflicts with japanese media as isekai, that alone make me want to watch it |

| Did we miss a scene or something? As much as we clown on brief recap intros, it would've been helpful here—I couldn't recall how we got specifically to the elves whooping the squad's asses. In general, this anime feels like it's just hopping from scene to scene, checking off things to cover to be a Suicide Squad anime. I'd rather watch a spinoff just of Harley and Joker. :P Ngl it would've been cool to have most of the squad killed off (tho having the shark as the extra survivor with Harley would've been annoying) just to see where the anime would take Harley. There'd be more focus on the princess and the fantasy world in general. Also, it'd be a bait and switch like with Oshi no Ko, tho episode 6 would've been a random placement for it. The squad still isn't feeling like a squad, tho pulling out Nanue's teeth (and failing at first to pull out the shark teeth) was pretty funny. Maybe my squad expectations have just been inflated after watching Dungeon Meshi. ^^ |
| I wasn't as impressed with the animation as others here seem to be. Still feels kind of low budget. I had high hopes given that Wit that worked on this. Anyway, it's not bothering me too much as I'm enjoying the show despite the visuals. Characters are still the most enjoyable part of the show. I really like this group. |
| Obviously mind-controlled elves? No empathy, kill'em all. Yet, they seemed to care for the slaughtered prisoners at the fort... That's suicide squad for ya. Were living elves mind-controlled or were they already all dead? When the scientist left they just dropped and we didn't get an explanation. Maybe people who read DC comics know more? At the end the guy has more elves erecting some shit. The queen is the main villain of the series. It's very likely to be the case IMO. |

| Yeah the queen is irrational with her wanting to execute the squad and earlier being all upset when the squad was winning but at least her daughter is more reasonable. Btw as other posters pointed out, Enchantress most likely helped the squad out by stopping the bullets from penetrating their bodies, interesting. |
| Episode 6 was a blast to watch. Following the Enchantress and the Thinker as they attack the Squad. Even though the Squad don't win, at least that head knight decided to let them go. Some parts of the plot are getting a lil goofy. But its fine Also KILLER CROC APPEARANCE WOOOOOOOOOOOOO |

| Guys from the other world really can't lift a finger to DC villains, unless you're Ratface. Their homies really got bodied, beheaded, chopped the beanstalk.. rip them. But that's why we got the Squad for revenge. F the elves when you have a league of supervillains. But at least one of em was a meatshield for a blast, right? Enchantress isn't playing, elf army and all. The Empire folk really love their brainwashing huh..their staple at this point. Nana does some good work as a tank tho. Don't think he's unhappy about being thrown into the water XD imagine launching a shark into water fighting. Although I suppose the shark didn't win out in the water. That one moment of Harlet sobbing was nice, although I would normally expect for Clayface to make it out alive from a gunshot being clay. Queen really doesn't want her people to win, wanting to hang the people who brought them victory thus far. At least pink hair has the right mindset. They're not going to achieve anything in prison, so they're better off causing mayhem. For the people. They went full force with the sad music at the end.. wow. Think only way they're going to break through thinker is for somebody else to unlock magic power, because that?.. A fortress and army blocking the signal.. that spells trouble. |

| Damn, those 2 killed off her whole side-crew. I didn't remember name until they said it, but knew that was a Flash villain (technically been recreated as many DC comic villain), which, Flash villains are busted, because the Flash is also busted, with writers needing to give him reverse-Plot Armor. ο»ΏI still think that chick is Poison Ivy, I don't know DC comics, but that makes the most sense even though this one is using rock (crystal) creation and manipulation magic. My theory for how justified is rocks are easier/cheaper to animate and can use isekai magic as an excuse for ability. ο»ΏI don't know who the head-honcho is for the empire, but just kill off this queen already man... bloody hell... as saw someone else say, the princess is making right move, and has always been only one doing that. The queen is a monster and must be taken out. Wouldn't be surprised if she killed her friend/(friend's brother? I blinked), she didn't seem happy the beast race was back on their side either.
