Liked the movie, loved the 1st and 2nd act. Dynaznon is one of my favorite shows and its so nice to see the yomogi gang again with gauma. But still the 3rd act is really weak, maybe its just me but the fights are way too long. Regardless good to see yuta finally getting together with rikka |

Man that movie was incredible. Like all the moving parts all meshed well and no one felt shafted. Like sure it might not make 110% sense but it was all really cool. XD |

Absolutely loved every bit of it. also, I'm so glad akane wasn't homeless lol. No idea why they even hinted at it at first but it was so relieving to see she wasn't. |

Visually, just like the rest of the franchise, it does a good job at recreating bad retro aesthetics. Same thing with the sound effects, the music is good, I'd liked to have the original Gridman opening back at some point, like the first anime did. Having the script of the stage play being what happened in the previous series was a clever excuse for a recap. The following dialogues felt like the makers were aware of the criticisms about the first anime, and talked about them in a comical meta way, not too self absorbed nor condescending, they're fine. I didn't notice it during the series, but they sure like to highlight Rikka's legs when showing her huh. I'll never get the fascination with this girl. Anyways, watching this reminded me of why I don't like Gridman, the beginning, and the main character, are slow, boring, plain. The Dynazenon cast made everything so much funner, even if they ended up having a quite secondary role. Then the plot, a poorly explained (from where did that super powerful kaiju even come from?) meta multiversal convoluted clusterfuck to excuse a huge power up, even contradicting the message of the original series thanks to the reapparence of a certain character, and their outfit, used just for fanservice (not lewd, the referential kind of). The action was cool, but the last fight was dragged on, it didn't need to be that long. Despite all my criticisms, I was mildly entertained watching it, since nowadays I don't have many other options for when it comes to mecha anyways. |

@CaptainKenshiro I'll never get why people think her coming back somehow "contradicts" the message, that's like saying me talking to my abusive ex-partner for 5 minutes is me getting back into the relationship. I don't even care about the character but this take is just stupid. |

@Exelarate agree. She just wanted to help her friends for saving her and she is doing just fine back at her world with friends to pick up garbage. Akane coming back doesn't negate her development at all and her return was a welcome surprise |

@Exelarate Hello. Unless you're referring to somewhere else, I don't see "people" complaining about that here, just me. Let's think about it, the point of the original series was about her accepting herself instead of the image she wanted to have, in a world she created in her mind to escape to, right? Yet, in this movie, not only she goes back to that world and image, she also cosplays Mujina in the process. Not only that, but she even has powers in the real world. Too bad that you had an abusive ex, hope everything's better now. |

@CaptainKenshiro because I’ve seen others talk about it, that’s pretty easy to infer no? The point of the original show was that she couldn’t leave, she was stuck in that world, because she didn’t want to leave. That’s clearly not what’s happening in the movie, she leaves and gos of her own volition. Going back into that world to help her friends who helped her. The reason she had that costume is not because she’s cosplaying mujina, it’s because the kaiju eugenicist were cosplaying her. |

action pack and good amount of slice of life its a multiverse crossover the plot basically is gridman was controlled by an evil chaotic kaiju eh and this evil kaiju was power up by the guilt of gridman for yuta and wanted to destroy the gridman multiverse or universe nice that gauma is still alive and he found his lover princess too gauma finally revealed the 3 things to live by and its promises, love and best by dates yuta x rikka romantic ship sailed good too heck we even saw akane and alexis in action again its a multiverse with base reality where akane is from |

Wow, I almost understand nothing, but this was truly an incredible masterpiece! Every action scenes are so thrilling and exciting, the interactions I've always wanted to see between Gridman and Dynazenon casts turned out greatly, and specially the ending is so lovely and satisfying! I might rewatch the whole series as well with the old Gridman live action because I'm curious about it and I want to understand more about this amazing story! |

That was so good, loved it so much. Was so happy to see everyone again together. Both from Gridman and Dynazenon. Even Akane came back to help them but most importantly the thing I was hoping for ever since this movie was announced happened. Rikka and Yuta are finally together, I'm so happy. Like really really happy. That confession scene was so sweet. Yomogi also practically proposed to Yume, telling her she's part of his family. That blush was so cute. Gauma and Hime part though, made me emotional. Otherwise once again it was great to see everyone again from both verse. The plot of the movie was actually interesting and made sense too. Gridman, Gridknight and everyone else with all the different combination was cool af. The action scenes were so good and we got a good amount of it too. Really enjoyed the movie and it concluded their story well. Btw Dungeon Meshi was playing in the background during the post credit scene when Yomogi and Yume were eating the crab with their family. Thought that was neat. |

I remember watching this in theaters when it released. Man re-watching it after all this time just made me realize how much amazing the Dynazenon cast are compared to the Gridman ones, I fr couldnt careless what happens to them and was mainly just waiting for my dynazenon peeps screentime, the only good thing about Gridman cast is Rikka and her thighs. During the 3rd act when the Dynazenon theme played we see Yume and Yomogi being so happy to be together again was adorable, relationship goals for real! |

@Askaa he had to catch up to class lessons he skipped and missed out last year's school festival and outdoor school activities he looked forward to and for some reason the girl he loved is friends with him without him knowing. Utsumi and Rikka to be the only ones who shares the memory with Gridman and Akane, Yuta feeling left out must've been real hard on him. Yet, he forgave Gridman and said "but you had fun, right?" is top tier MC right there. |

I just appreciate that everyone here agress that the Dynazenon cast is much much more entertaining than their Gridman counterparts. Akane being back with her two very healthy kaijus on display is an appreciated side note. The story conclusion itself felt a bit tacked on, but it wrapped all the characters arcs up quite nicely I would say. Still I crave more Dynazenon action. |

Epic production! Thanks for the update! I wished I could've watched this in a cinema, it would be more of an epic experience. The last half was rather mellow but as the story went on, it became interesting. I'm glad to see all or most of the characters from the previous tv series in a single one but I especially enjoyed Akane's appearance!!! YES!!! I love her!!! |
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

i might read into it too much but something off about this pink haired girl no? perhaps will be the next character for trigger/tsuburaya projects? also she seems disinterested when the kaiju appeared (really lowres but based on her head she seems more focused to yuta, utsumi, rikka) |

"I am Gridman, and i am weak". Almost two whole hours of pure unfiltered, unadulterated fanservice jacked straight into to my veins. People say that movies cant stand on a fanservice alone, that they need something more. Well, Trigger proved everyone wrong, this was pedal to the metal from the beginning to the bombastic end. Anime movies like these remind me why i watch anime. Also, a very overused thing especially in today's western entertainment, but still undoubtedly, the movie was very, very meta. Shame that the Kaiju Eugenicists haven't somehow found their way into this. |

The action is absolutely great no doubt but the story is a little confusing so sometimes I go "what the hell is going on?" and while it's great though we get to see the gridman and dynazenon cast together but not long enough (and especially Akane) Overall I think it's an enjoyable show but you gotta watch gridman and dynazenon first otherwise the whole wouldn't make any sense |

TAKE THAT YOMOGI! HIBIRIKKA'S CANON. Seeing Gauma come back was an unexpected treat. I thought he was gone forever especially since he wasn't on any of the promo material I saw. His reunion with Yomogi and the rest of the Dynazenon Squad was really heartwarming 🥹 Also Yomogi using instance domination and wowing everyone was really fun to watch too lol I was a bit confused at times, but I'm glad I got to watch this. Solid 8/10, it felt like a proper conclusion ᐕ)ノ ✏️➰📖 |

Got all the cast together and didn't have a beach scene, and of course they end up fighting in space. Alexis also looks straight up from Eva. Definitely really fucking good, but i feel like this should've been a 2-part movie at least. The Dynazenon cast barely got any screentime and they didn't really tackle that much about Gauma's girl and felt like she was just there. Basically there's just too many characters in 1 movie lmao |

Why lie, I loved the movie❗️ Tokusatsu will always have a special place because it reminds me of when I watched the character that Gridman is inspired by and even now it gives me the same emotion. The fusion of universes was epic, but how they all related was what made it work so well. 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆ |

Director/Scriptwriter dude sure likes to see Yuuta in distress by the idea of Rikka being a thot, huh? Still remember that Gridman episode with the kid feeling all angsty because he saw Rikka going to a karaoke with some older dudes lol. And nah man, that third act with practically everyone (even goddess Akane and Alexis) joining the final battle + tons of more "mecha" combinations + both shows' OP songs playing in the background was pure insanity. Absolutely loved every second of it and also, that Yume x Yomogi reunion was so sweet. Seeing Yume being so expressive during the movie was such a treat, by the way. Overall, it was a fairly enjoyable movie though I gotta say those first 30 minutes with just Yuuta, Rikka and Utsumi were truly uninteresting. Good thing it didn't take long for the Dynazenon cast to show up and give that much-needed spark to the group dynamic. As for the story, it was easy to follow despite the over-the-top explanations Trigger usually gives in their Originals and I particularly liked the detail of them using the stage play's first script as "recap" for the events in Gridman. It sure was a clever way to recall what happened in a show that aired 5 years ago. That said, I guess my only complaint would be the fact of Gauma's side-plot with Hime being underdeveloped once again. Would have liked to see more of that as well as witnessing a proper portrayal of their romantic relationship but she barely got five minutes of screen-time in the end, sadly. 7,5/10 -> 8/10 - And one day Yuuta finally got the girl, huh? Honestly, I never shipped them since I think Yuuta is incredibly plain (I remember Akane x Rikka being fairly popular at that time too) but guess they didn't want to have Yomogi as the only "winner" in the romance department and thus made Rikka fall for Yuuta because of his shounen protagonist spirit. Understandable though still kinda abrupt in execution, if you ask me. |

Man, this was...disappointing, I guess. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I was really under the impression this was gonna be a crossover, but it felt more like a Gridman movie with some Dynazenon fanservice. Which makes sense, it's even in the title...but, eh. Dynazenon was way better. |

for the most post at first throughout most of the movie just really enjoyed seeing the Dynazenon characters which by far outshine the Gridman characters, but okay as soon as Akane appeared and went full magical girl it became great and then as soon as the godlike Dynazenon theme hit it became really great then at some point during that battle is dropped the CGI crap entirely turned into ANIME and yes, there it was, for the final battle is was amazing. real nice feelgood wrap-up as well Gauma aka REX forever best boy, Yuta forever a dweeb lol |

this really bring back childhood memories. I didn't even remember those cameos, but I'm very sure I watch them when I was a child. this is Gridman's multiverse of madness. overall it's a good movie, but a very cliche named attack and when their transformed are kinda cringe. now I want to know more about gridman universe. If gridman is the creator of the universe, why he (in this movie) looks so weak and need alliance to obliterate his enemies. and what's Akane to gridman, isn't Akane a goddess, so who's a higher being between them? |
