| Well, I wonder if Klaus really is the toughest spy in this show but there sure is a lot of spies. Lily and Klaus has my attention the most so far. Lily has a very energetic personality while Klaus has that leadership type of role. Looks like many of the main cast or at least main spies are introduced. There's also some bath fan service. Seems the first episode is a setup but I am interested in rest of the season. |

| One of the standout shows this season, it's full of Assassination Classroom vibes, in a Princess Principal-like world. Cute Girls Doing Spy Things, this definitely serves as one. And this is true for the newbie in the batch: VA Sora Amamiya's Lily, codename Flower Garden, entering with a provisional graduation offer. The spy team Lamplight, heralded by the group's boss Klaus, leading a group of girls who are similar dropouts like Lily, and this starts as expected having all 7 of them commune together to act on Impossible Missions. Immediately, the first-rate spy boss Klaus doesn't reveal much due to his inability to teach, but that's the case despite being on the way to becoming "the Greatest Spy in the World", and the 7 girls have to improvise on their own. Wanting a breakout for a change in environment, Lily invites Klaus out to give him some fresh air and knows more that his subconscious and intuition are the only things going for him. It's no wonder Klaus could not teach and can only act on instinct. And most certainly, only when Lily (based on her codename) decides to bloom to catch Klaus off-guard being a poison specialist, but Klaus too has his own set of tricks to outwit Lily for an attempt of assassination. It was a good attempt, but not enough to faze Klaus, and Lily given the position of leader as a sign of apology, it clears things up for the boss to right things altogether. This show being a 2-cour, it's gonna be a slow burn, but let it progress like Mission Impossible. |

| You place cute girls in a pseudo dark setting and bet the series will blow up. This felt something along those lines. A war waged country.. in the past but now things may have normalized upfront, a certain group of people still are stirring things up through the shadows, spies. We started off with the first problem child, Lily who's voiced by Amamiya Sora, getting an invitation of recruitment in a team who's tasked with a mission of high risks and high risks alone under the supervision of the hottest man in the town, Klaus. At this point it should be clear this man won't only supervise Lily but other eight girls as well. All of them.. being super cute as it was intended. Though it'll take some time for mister poker face to get these girls' mission ready, but we're here for it. This being two cours certainly help. |

| So the world ravaged by war, or a world that has been ravaged by war but at present is not, needs saving once again, and you won't believe ... no, this time you really won't believe whos the only one capable doing the job, YES, cute anime girls with the most girly personalities known to anime man. I praise the production quality, this seems like a higher priority adaptation. Its really hard to comment on anything else when this really feels like a mobile game plot. But hey, girls are cute so. | I'm just gonna reiterate some stuff since I've posted something on Vol 1 of the LN with the anime now. Klaus is indeed a mysterious guy who is part of the whole teaching in this Impassable Mission. The anime made it easier for me to image the whole war narratives & further describing the world they live in because I struggled to image it when reading the light novel. I like Lily's VA for this one, it suits her voice and she as a whole has this bubbly persona. Next episode should be able to make use more on the mission. Edit: Just noticed, how is this a Harem? Just because there are so many girls in this series lol? |

| An incompetent sensei and seven girls who are all problem children, quite the situation they've got there. Lily vs Klaus was pretty hilarious. I was really looking forward to this anime and this was a good start. Like the setting and the girls, they are cute and fun. Production is decent, hopefully it'll be consistent througout the season. Also the end part reminded me of assassination classroom. |

| Hey, the cast is made up of cute girls. At least half of the rent is paid xD Aside from that it was a nice set up episode which pulled off a cool twist. PartTimeSteiner said: Is this going to be different than assassination classroom? Definitely won't be as funny, crazy or emotional as Assassination Classroom. But wecan't really expect a one cour show to pull off the same as a full Jump adaptation. |

| a complete introductory episode. seems like the whole plot is going to be the completion of the impossible mission. but i have no idea why the 'greatest spy' in the world would need a bunch of little girls to complete an impossible mission. this is more light-hearted than i thought. i was hoping this would be a serious and dark toned but well. decent first episode. |

| Really off to a great start. Loved the pacing only adapting the first chapter of the LN. Hope they can keep up the consistency. Definitely my most anticipated show of the season and it delivered. And obviously the voice acting of all the characters were great as you'd expect from a stacked cast. |

| First episode felt way flatter than I expected, particularly for a spy series. Lacked energy, and genuine fun. Music felt forgettable too and lacked that punch that Princess Principal had with the help of Yuki Kajiura and her energetic, explosive music composition as a whole. Animation wasn't bad but was by the books and didnt really do anything creative or fun with it to elevate the source. As an adaptation of the source, it wasn't bad but was way too safe for me in this episode. And a series about spies should never feel too safe imo, not just the content but with the presentation too. The final couple minutes were better than the rest of the episode but barely, again maybe the music being better would've helped with the atmosphere and with the buildup to Lily's twist at the end there. |
| First episode was decent so far, nothing too special about this one and nothing in particular stands out. The boat stuff definitely helped make the episode more entertaining though so let's see how this plays out. |
| People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |
