| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Will and Blood definitely has a complex relationship in this show. It's almost hard to tell what Blood's true intentions are but it seems he can at least trust him. It seems the show really wants to explore the relationship between him, Blood, and even Mary. Speaking of which, Mary adores Will like a loving mother while Blood acts as his surrogate father. A strange relationship but one that is noticable in the show imo. |

| Marie can be quite scary sometimes. But, it is always fun to see all four of them being together as a family talking about Will finally being an adult. The fight was quite impressive IMO. Will did all he could when facing Blood but still lost. He still has a long way to go. Will got a new blade, Overeater. Also, got to learn a lot of things about the past in this episode. Overall, a good episode to end on that cliffhanger like that. Looks like the contract is over for all three of them and now that they've completed their job as Will's parents. |

| The boys are definitely having fun, though Blood luring Will to drunkness and watching Mary undress isn't on the list. Heh, that was a good mother's slap. That is a sign of Will's mentality maturing, and though Blood can sometimes be a bad influence on everything else, it's the face-off deciding battle with him that tests Will of his fervor. Blood using his ribs to capture Will's sword...is his endless time cheat trick before he died, and Mary threw a fuss on that like a couple lols. But like parents, Blood passing onto Will his demon sword Overeater does feel like training their own children well while on expense of using the weapon for some excruciating side effects if used for too long. The tale of both the demonblade Overeater and how Will was raised, the High King of the Eternals. Truly a ferocious battle of demons, and that expands on the world-building of the show. To see the High King that once wield the Overeater demonblade to create a rampage, Gus's command to bring him down plus Mary's Healing blessing and Blood stealing the demonblade, for Will to deduce all that is genius, but at the mercy of a warrior swordsman whose skills outstretch all 3 gods to seal him when killing seems impossible. To make matters worse, personal feuds between gods and Echo (double) with the High King's sealing, it's a gruesome tasak of clearing demons to make a world without death, this Stagnate god of the undead (why Mary referred to him as the Earth-Mother Mater) to convert the 3 undead gods into who they are. Will came long to be their sacrifice to undo that seal, but his salvation lies with the 3 undead gods who took care of him (even with Gus's worries). Their farewell is only an indication of things getting bad to worse, and Stagnate has come to take their souls away. Now this is what I live for in fantasy shows like this: the extensive world-building that gets better with progress. Great episode to mark the 3-episode rule to its knees. |

| This was a better episode for me over the previous one. Felt more grounded with the pace, got to learn about Mary and Blood a bit from the past and how they came to raise Will, with some amount of world building to go along with that, and get the cliffhanger at the end too. I like Mary and Blood, but I am worried for how good the series will be in the long run with Will as the MC, he's not a bad isekai protagonist by any means, but kind of a bland one without much to actually get behind. Otherwise for this episode itself, not a bad watch and hope the next episode's decent too. |

| Will's got drunk with Blood, and they wanted to have a peek while Mary's changing, but yeah it didn't got well as they expected it out to be. Lot of storytelling this episode, as Blood and Mary finally revealed all about their past, as how all three of them with Gus got turned into an undead. Wasn't at all expecting that things were this complicated, and we would've an end like this. |

| The bland animation and directing was really visible this episode. The storytelling could have been much better and the duel too. Anyway I liked the backstory but the duel was meh. Mary looked beautiful when she was alive. Also I hope they survive but I highly doubt they will. |

| *BANGS HEAD ON TABLE* marry blood and will's parent-son dynamic . if anything happens to them i WILL lose it. it being my sanity didnt really catch a lot of that lore in the story so thats prob a sign that i need to sleep but i got most of it so its gewd, will still look at other replies here later on to make sure tho this anime is honestly . Not that special, its also not done super well so its rly nothing great but i still really enjoy it for some reason. maybe from its simplicity or i just enjoy the character dynamic who knows! but for sure one of the shows ill always look forward to from this season :D |

| A huge improvement from episode 2 in my opinion. Now we are rolling. Damn wish we could have seen more of Mary but I think we got enough lol. Man this episode was really good. I liked the fight scene where Will actually explains why he can't cross swords with Blood and why his shield is important. very nice tactics he used. Blood is sneaky with those Ribs though. Uh wtf is with that ending??? WHERE ARE THEY GOING?!?!?! Man if Blood and Mary leave Ill cry. |

| Yeah, huge improvement from the previous episodes. I think this episode has sold me on continuing this. The history was interesting, the parts with Blood, Mary and Will were great. The final scene was ominous and I'd hate to see both Blood, Mary and Gus just vanish but then again they've lived for such a long time, I wonder if they want to finally be freed from existence. Very curious what will happen next. |

| The duel with Blood was whatever, but the focal point of the episode was the lore that Blood and Mary explained. Quite interesting to learn about all that and how Will came to be raised by them. That cliffhanger though....from how Blood and Mary were talking it was obvious something was going to happen, and that ended up being the case. Gus' intervention will most likely not do jack shit lol. Next episode should be a good one. |

| I knew Mary Gus and Blood were sus, so they made a pact with the high king eh. Very interesting moral conundrum will finds himself in. This show has really been a pleasant surprise. Love the departure from the usual isekai shows. I’ll have to check out the LNs. |

| Not feeling this one So they teased us for two and a half episodes about the backstory of this world, to only get an uninteresting and confusing backstory. Also, I feel as though they are not utilizing the fact that Wil is an isekai-ed person, who has memories of his past life. The way the story has gone so far, Wil might as well been some random child from their world and the story would stay the same. |

| That was a really good episode! That first scene though lmao. Will is a growing healthy boy (that's into necrophilia). Well, he just became an adult now. So Will was actually brought as a sacrifice by the lower demons to break the seal of the High King. That's a good reason to not tell Will until he was older. Really nice to know more about Blood, Mary and Gus's pasts as well as the world. Good worldbuilding. I hope nothing bad happens to Blood, Mary and Gus. I want Will to introduce his future family to them, his parents. I don't know what Gus is though, maybe a crazy uncle lmao. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| I love how it actually feels like a family relationship by mixing the day by day experience with the plot, the bonds doesn't seem forced. The lore shit was, well, extremely dumped, but I guess that such was the most natural way of explaining it, and it is also pretty intriguing in terms of how big the apparent world is. I want this to move on though, hope the next episode do a good conclusion of this part. I honestly dont think that the worldbuilding in this one is pointless, like every factor have been relevant to the development of the own plot in one way or another |

That backstory lore on how the 3 heroes (Blood, Mary, and Augustus) defeated the High King was really interesting. I wasn't sure before but now I'm hooked to this story. I wanna know what happens next. I just hope after Will completely breaks off from his undead parents the story won't turn to shit. |

| Lol Blood really taught him such an amazing lesson. Drunk and peek the mummy, Mary. Great shit, Blood. As a result Will learn the first wet dream. The ladder to the adulthood surely full of embarassment for Will xd. Anyway, Will ritual was just like that. He's still inexperience against Blood tactic, and, yeah, without needed he already granted Gus wish before. Wait, where's Gus? A very heavy exposition dump on the next sequence. More information about the trio undead parents background, make me hard to digest, honestly. So, they were basically a guardian of the High King seal from 200 years agon, which, looks like a human being with such an enormous power under him, even without the overeater. Though, they still had a backup plan, to seal him. But, things become more uneasy with the arrival of Stagnate, which became the reason of them as an undead. Though, with that immortal body, they were still had a use, to at least guard the seal until the later. Without any wait longer, Stagnate suddenly came in to take the undead away, like written on the contract. But, what about Will? Then, there you were, Gus arrived with his maginificent word of magic, cliffhanged everything. Idk what happen later, so yeah, better watch next to understand this mess more.... |

| While I think I would've preferred to actually see more of those events play out rather than just being told about them, there were some very significant revelations throughout, not least in terms of how Will ended up in their care and how they ended up as Undead. Was not at all expecting Gus to come in at the last minute to try and stop Stagnate's Echo from claiming Blood and Mary's souls, but I'd be very surprised if he even comes close to succeeding: instead, this looks like the point where Will's connection to his undead "parents" is severed and the moment that truly forces him onto his journey. |

| Binged all 3 episodes today, really feeling it. I liked a lot how it started, and knowing a few things, I guess the next episode will be heavy... It is shame the budget for this adaptation to be lacking, those fights feel very AVERAGE, but the rest is cool. Special mention for that really sweet OP. Also, I m not in necro, but Mary surely is a gorgeous woman, even dead, and she was really something while alive, I don't blame the kid to have his first-morning wood accident like that. xD |

I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |
