Another weird episode..

I didn't think this one was disturbing though because of the swift change in setting from civilization to the icy mountains. However, it still had a thrilling mood to it with the disastrous result of the camp site as well that weird cliffhanger.

Edit: never mind.
That monster is disgusting.

It's only episode 2 but I'm starting to get disappointed. The stories aren't creepy, they're rather boring, and there's no point to them. People get eaten/attacked by a strange creature then the episode ends. Why are these incidents being shown to us and what happens afterwards? It doesn't feel like the episodes have proper closure.

Quick thinking and that music box saved Kuroda big time. Too bad about her dad though, but what did she expect?

So far, Banba-sensei hasn't gotten any solid clue to figure out the origin of these monsters. I wonder how he plans to face them.

I liked this better than the first episode, because it was intense. But yeah, the plot seems to be going nowhere as of now. Maybe they'll show some more monsters then Banba-sensei would start figuring out where these creatures come out. Good one though.

i feel your pain, but actually, i doubt anything from sakamoto shinichi will ever be animated, the stories are too crude and the drawings too good to be animated, same as wolfguy or i am a hero.

anyway, the episode was good, pretty damn good, but it's giving me the fear that we will have like, 10 "this shit happened, it's a clue!" episodes and only a couple with actual plot.

also that woman was frikkin badass and cool looking.

I wonder of all these different monsters will be connected somehow ?
If Kagewani figures the origins of these aberrations and the anime provides with a satisfying ending .. this series might score good in my books :>

This anime has a better story than most of the stuff that comes out in this season. I just can't get used to the graphics and the 7 minutes doens't exacly help.

Haha this episode also made me think of Kokou no Hito too.

I enjoyed this episode more than the last, it's a shame that people (aside from Banba) would think that she was going crazy from hypothermia. But also understandable. Who believes in monsters until you see them anyways? That thing was gross though, maybe their take on a yeti?

Pretty decent episode 2 but still not sure what to expect story-wise i mean it doesn't seem like the episodes are connected to each other , so i'm afraid it might turned out as Irregular as Aoi Bungaku did with some arcs worth 9/10 , 10/10 and some worth 4/10 , 5/10

The monster can only see in infrared, the girl and guy were really cold so they had no body heat for the monster to see.

Another great episode of Kagewani.

Love the style and the pulpy atmosphere this creates and love that this defied the expectations and actually had a female character be smart and resourceful to survive the encounter with a monster.

The monster design and the story presentation itself is very Lovecraftian which is a HUGE plus too. It does not try to "jumpscare" you or startle you with the monsters and instead present them as unsettling creatures representing the fear of unknown that is embedded into human nature.

Of course MAL goldfishes will deem this "weird" or "confusing" as far as the usual trademark goldfish terms go and this show won't get enough attention(while everyone will hype up kitschy trash like OPM), but Kagewani remains one of strongest shows this season, which is surprising considering it is only like 1/3rd the length of a normal episode.

5/5 again. I hope this show retains its quality.

It was confused(since it was not warm enough to register, but warm enough for it to feel "off" about it) and then it got distracted by the music box.
