| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah good episode, we find out more about Hakumen no Mono while a bit more about youkai in general and Ushio's mother. The amount of build up in the episode is great along with some action. Obviously, some others doesn't trust Ushio or Tora but still the episode itself has a good amount of tension. I think the story is really picking up now with the recent episodes. Whoa, the youkai that fought Tora is pretty strong as compared to some of the previous ones show. |

| This series just keeps on getting better and better The second I realized that the old dude wasn't the husband of the old lady, I knew that he was a youkai...That was a really grateful development there especially since he turned out to be the leader of those youkai in that area All of the little discussions and just emotional dialogue was beautiful and seeing everyone help Ushio out of the kindness of their hearts and then to see Tora not only save them all but accept his new self really made me smile The action was really good as usual since this series has managed to consistently maintain that high level of intensity with each an every battle and I love that about this series (The only series this season that did this better imo was Rokka but this comes pretty close too) This episode left me wanting to know more about Ushio's mother and why her family has been protecting Hakumen all these years though so I'm hoping that before this season ends we'll find that out |

Ushio's Mom must have a very good reason for protecting Hakumen no Mono. Glad Tora changed his mind and helped Ushio. There was no way he could have survived on his own. That fight at the end was good.  |

| Tora's smug-ass expressions during his fight seriously made this episode. Oh, and the part where he tells Hitotsuki to call him Tora instead of Nagatobimaru. You know he's attached to Ushio already when he wants to be called the name he gave him (despite the fact that he whined at that name in the beginning of the series). Well.... guess I'm going to have to try to find some time to read the manga this week. Gonna be tough since I was planning to start reading Shokugeki no Soma and Rokka no Yuusha. |

| Hot damn the past 2 episodes were just so exciting and fun, this definetly captured me like the first 8 episodes consistently did, the episodes after that werent horrible and a few were quite good its just they werent as fun and a bit tedious, now the direction seems way more focused and im sure its gonna be one hell of a good time. | The manga is over 300 chapters, so even at 5 chapters per episode that would still be over 60 episodes if they were to do it all. As it's only scheduled for 39 in total, some things are going to have to be cut. However, even though I am only half-way through the manga, it was still my impression that we had a couple of reasonably important supporting characters introduced in the skipped chapters. And once again let me remind folks that these are not just MotW episodes. They do introduce characters, like the Kamaitachi, who play important and recurring characters in the development of the story. |

| Not a bad episode but can Ushio stop screaming/talking so dam loud all the time? Then he also goes on grabbing the Tengu like he can do whatever he wants. It's like he knows he's got plot armor due to being the MC so he just doesn't give a dam lol. |

| This is one of those shows that's outside my usual genres, but I still find it really interesting. I'm not sure what it is, but it's really compelling. Glad I gave it a chance. Anyway, I hope they get onto the stuff with Ushio's mother sooner rather than later and don't have some kind of filler arc in-between. I have a feeling she's a massive bitch and I'm interested in seeing Ushio meeting her. |

| The episode ended too quickly, now you have to wait until next week, how sad! Oh well, let's force. Narratively, excluding the good feelings and the other forcing the shonen, which I appreciate, because we now live in a world devoid of all morality, I enjoyed the series of events offered. Plot quite sensible in his choices, drawings always look nice. |

| Really nice episode. Ushio finds out why the youkai are attacking him and we get to see some nice battle sequences. All that's left for this is to find out why his mum is protecting that Boss. Nice way to reach a 1/3 point! |

Since they're chopping so much content, I'm guessing this is about the point where the main plot kicks in. Looking forward to it for sure. This has so far been a real fun show despite just being "Monster of the Week" bullshit, so I expect it to really stand out once there is more focus. |

| Sick of Tora using the excuse that he wants to eat Ushio and therefore doesn't let anyone else kill him. Wish he'd stop lying to everyone and just admit he has no intention of killing Ushio or of letting anyone kill Ushio at all because it's just becoming annoying. Other than that, decent episode. |

| So if Ushio's mom is in the Hizaki family, which we learned in early episodes is Mayuko's ancestor, that means she's also related to Ushio? Either way good stuff. Really love Hakumen's design. |
