| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting turn of events at the end when Bunny freaks out and jumps out the roof. Looks like it caused a bit of his memory regarding the face of the killer to return, and we then see the wacko poking at a wall somewhere. Interesting episode, liked the Dragon Kid more than i expected to, think she might be my favorite hero now unless Skyhigh gets a solo ep and somehow manages to really wow me. Poor Tiger gets no respect from his daughter. |

| Oh wow, this is probably my favourite episode. So sweet and cute. So in rough chronological order: I knew it! Only the big guy would know that Tiger had a wife and kid, they always seemed like long time friends. Lol at Karina's reaction... "Kotetsu... wife? daughter???" She was just flabbergasted... I wonder why? LOL at Dragon Kid and Kotetsu's Mommy/Daddy roles and how they stayed at Bunny's place. Kotetsu: "I didn't want anything at my house breaking." Then getting drunk on the floor... sheesh Sunrise is all about the yaoi implications. Couldn't the kidnappers wear less conspicuous clothes? I was amazed how much plot was in this episode, I thought it would be a side story, but no, this was heavy plot points. The flower language was a sweet addition, and poor Kotetsu... his daughter gave the hairpiece to grandma. But it looks like more father/daughter action next week. I love any parental storylines, they are just so beautiful. Also, am I the only totally heterosexual man here who thinks that Tiger is the HOTTEST guy ever? Just look at his posture, facial expression, and listen to his phrasing and voice. He beats Minato (from Naruto) in my opinion and that's a tough act to follow. |
| lol @ poor Tiger at the end. the others seemed surprised he had a daughter. no Lunatic this time around, it wasn't as interesting with the baby plot. Dragon Kid is all right though. I want more Sky High and Bison. |

| Dude. I loved this episode. Bunny's character development has already come a long way. And jeeze, I love whenever Tiger's daughter comes into play because it adds an extra dimension to show. Just dsfdf dfdjfj I really like this show now. |

I certainly can't blame her, and probably half of the teen girls who watch this show would too if Kotetsu was real. Noticed this, also noticed that Bunny didn't dis Tiger the entire episode. That is a first. (I might have missed one but overall he was really chummy.) I suppose saving someone's life will do that. |

| Dragon Kid's character was better than expected. And she and Kotetsu's relationship is nice to see. THe is a really good senior. Karina seems to have a crush on him. Well, now his wife is not alive, It's not impossible that she gets him and a stepdaughter. Lol, finally, Kotetsu gave up reading out next title in English. |

| Thought so too, but the killer looks a bit young to be Tiger's dad. I mean, the killer looked like he was about Tiger's age when he killed Bunny's parents. And Tiger's mom looks far older than the killer.Can't be sure of people's ages in anime, but Katsura is good enough in making the characters look the right age. |

| I'm glad we got an episode on Dragon Kid, we've seen so little of her. She's a pretty cool character. The beginning part where they were all trying to stop the baby from crying was hilarious. I love how Tiger and Bunny got drunk and passed out with each other too lol. I'm really interested to know about that guy they showed on the ending though...I wonder if he's related to Tiger, like his dad or something. I always love the ending for each episode where they try to say the preview in English but fail horribly...Tiger just completely backed out this time lol. |

| You could see the small crush on Tiger coming from Blue Rose a while ago, especially when she was with the "Who do you think I'm here to help" reaction that time. So you can understand her shock and confusion, You're a college student who likes a guy thats about 10 years older than you, so him revealing he was married AND has a 9 year old child is a big piece of news for her. But I think its one way, cause Tiger sees her more of a daughter than a love interest. Poor Tiger, for him to be getting closer to the other female heroes as a father figure, he can't even get his own daughter to respond like that. |
| I finally managed to catch up with this series. I'm loving how unique the entire premise is. I didn't think I would care much for Dragon Kid, but I'm starting to like her a lot. I hope to see more of her in future episodes. I'm also glad we got to learn a little more about Tiger's past. I had been wondering what exactly happened to his wife. I figured she either separated from him or passed away. But given how much of a nice guy he is I was leaning toward the latter, and I was right. The poor guy can never seem to catch a break. On side note, I was amused how Barnaby freaked out, jumped through the roof, and no one bothered to ask about it. |

Learning integrals in high school would place her at 12th grade (most likely), which would make her around 17. Kotetsu is probably in his early 30s so she is way too young (but I think Japanese are more lenient about this; not sure) and closer to his daughter in age than to him. On the other hand, Wikipedia states that blue roses are a symbol of love and prosperity. It can't be a complete coincidence given the content of this episode. Some college do require uniforms, but the classroom was a bit on the small side, then again it could be a small college. I'm pretty certain she is in high school though, however she could likely be 18 or even a super senior (19) especially if her life was distracted by music and her night job. Age differences aren't as much of a big deal in Japan, they are not completely westernised after all. However, given that Sternbild is a Western city, I can see them playing up the age difference considerably. Kotetsu definitely doesn't get it, and he'll probably realise it quite late in the crush-cycle. Expecting major awkward moment in the future. And kudos to Tenchi_Ryu for reminding me of the "Who do you think I'm here to help" quote. I was confused by this statement, but now, with this episode accounted for, it makes perfect sense. Don't care if they get together or not, but looking forward to the storyline. |
| Great episode. The show is getting better. I didn't expect that Dragon Kid to be a boyish type but she still looks hot to me. :D And Tiger never ceases to amuse me with his lines and what's more awesome is he's doing a good job in giving advice as a parent/father. Next ep seems badass. Tiger carrying a gattling gun. WANT WANT WANT!! |

I think Karina is probably 17-19, I doubt she's sixteen, though with Dragon Kid being a hero too, maybe she is younger? At first I doubted that she liked him, but the more I think about it, the more it seems likely. It might get brushed off as a crush in the end and they "just be friends" but we'll see. Have to have some sexual tension in this show (besides the yaoi). Crush or not, Karina has some good taste in men. *nods in approval*, the main question is what will her parents and Kotetsu think about it. Gosh... I'm sounding like a shipper, I am trying so hard not to fall down that slippery slope, so please take all this as theories concerning plot development... yeah we'll say that. I don't actually care either way, as long as they address it and use the story to its full potential. |
| T&G's really getting better and better, the characters are developping and their relations deepening, plus the plot is actually moving forward while remaining very entertaining. Great stuff. |

| Awwwwh, no aw(e)some engrish this time? Don't give up too easily, Tiger! It's unbelievable how ridiculously much I love this show. The episodes keep getting better and better... The series is pretty episodic but I like how the characters interact and they/their relationships develop nicely. I seriously expected this episode would be a bit boring featuring Dragon Kid and all, but no way, she was much more sympathetic and likable than I thought. Tiger is so cool. |
| @Mineko Same here, I totally did not expect that I would LOVE this series so much. But all the characters just seem so real, like honest to goodness people. Just perfection in that department and the new villain looks interesting, good to know it's not just going to be Lunatic. |
| Translated the episode summary for 10 the best I could (from the official website). Tiger receives a paid vacation from the company, additionally he goes toward his mother’s home. It’s been a while since dad met with Kaede, to improve the meeting Kotetsu tries to purchase a popular stuffed animal called Mud (mad?) Bear. Barnaby recalls memories based on new clues can proceed in finding his parents’ murderer. Barnaby goes to the prison records to confirm the true criminal. At the same time a large explosion takes place on the bridge as Tiger heads home (not yet reaching Kaede). Not much new information, except the Barnaby part on him looking into records. Looking forward to the next episode, seems fantastic! Oh, and Kaede means Maple Tree, how cute! |

Oh he was just as hot before, he just decided to flaunt it this time... like in this official poster. Bunny stands like a chick... kind of irritating actually, he can't do the bishie thing really well at all. |
