And I do not approve of the fairy in the book. >_> Funny hearing Kazuya imitate Grevil. Omnomnom. And I knew something was fishy about Avril, but I didn't expect it do be someone else tbh. ┐(￣ー￣)┌ On and I'm so looking forward to seeing Victorique in a turban next week. Late realization: Where'd Kujo's fighting skills go? |

| I knew that girl was the killer, I didn't know she was the fake Avril, glad Victorica gave what this fake deserved. The real Avril is so cute though and eats a lot. Note for Kazuya: Take a page out of Touma next time when dealing with killer females. |

| Okay, it was obvious someone's a fake after the phantom thief was mentioned, but I actually thought it'd be the Inspector Grevil - since he was, as Kujou noticed, oddly serious. Man, I love Megane-sensei. And I loved how Avril merged the end of the word "daijoubu" with "nom". |

| The mystery was over too quickly and after they found the postcard in the book it was easy to tell that Avril was the criminal. However I thought that there might be another explanation since she appears on the OP, meaning that she would appear regularly. Anyway, this episode served to strengthen the relationship between our two main characters. |

| damn this anime so good. I was expecting everything except for the fake avril, that i didnt see. I love the endings , they make it blend so well and you just have that nice good feeling at the end of the episode. |

| Well at first I thought Avril was the killer, for some reason (even came up with a back story of what happened) but the first mystery was to confuse us wasn't it (they did very good.. xD) anyways, I somehow knew Avril was bad, she seemed suspicious oh so very suspicious, somehow I suspected a cup board, when she wasn't around since she happened to pop up right there,anyways onto the cute scenes The real Avril is cute~ ♥ Victorique(Victorica) blushing is adorable xD (somehow, she might teach me how to count in french lol) |

That the impostor was the criminal was obvious from the start but why did she cling towards Kujo, was that because she took the ghost story's to her advantage. And what do Japanese have with phantom thieves i lived in Europe all my life and never heard any story's about a phantom thief that wasn't of Japanese origin. |

| Decent episode. Many parts of the mystery were painfully obvious, but I doubt that most people had all of it figured out. I certainly didn't. Victorique remains the main reason why this show is fun to watch. Kujo was kinda lame in this story, but he really is a good friend. |

The injury on her hand was caused by the real Avril as she bit her not from the wire... Predictable my ASS... I wasn't even expecting of a double until they introduce the thief in this episode... Reminds me of Kaito Kid that's why someone should be in disguise xDD Can you guys tell me which part is easy or obvious to you? PS: I just realized that there's an english lyrics in the ED xDD |

| Best show this season. I am loving everything so far, from the mystery, to Victorique, to the music. Also, I agree with the people who claims that everyone who claims the mystery is so obvious are BS'ing. It's very easy to say the mystery was easy AFTER seeing the solution. Just go back to previous threads to see how off some people's "predictions" were. The only thing that you can argue about is that it's slightly unbelievable that Victorique can figure everything out by pure logic, without having to be there at the crime scene, investigate evidence, or w/e. |

| so basically the first case is used for "red herring". it really is solved in the 4th episode, with the fact that we don't know anything about the victim and the name and the motive of the culprit, the suspicion has focused on Avril (Fake Avril) with the fact that she arrived immediately after the case has been solved in the school and has a wounded finger, blonde hair, (characteristics of the biker incident culprit) and she's getting close to Kujo, for a reason because he saw her do the crime? but that has been put to halt this episode because she really is connected but with the Mummy Knight case (just connected but she really have nothing to do with it), and her wounded fingers is cause by Avril biting her hands off that may have rend some flesh. after this episode, even though it still not finished, GOSICK has been justified to really be my 3rd favorite and best anime. i really like how they finished each arc showing the relationship bet our main characters deepen. |

| and music of this anime is "GODLY" and "CLASSY", i really really like it, even the soundtrack of Madoka Magica can't even match it up but Kajiura Yuki is still one of my favorites. ^^ looks like next episode we get to see our first main antagonist? shown in the OP sequence, "the red haired magician". PS: I just realized that there's an english lyrics in the ED xDD and i totally agree with this, the fact that the people out here are so PROUD OF THEMSELVES saying that Avril is the culprit of the biker incident because it's just too OBVIOUS in the last episode thread, it's called red herring dudes, and those who have spouted "oh Avril definitely is the killer" will be put to misery this episode thinking that they are so good that they can see anything, "PREDICTABLE MY ASS" and the Fake Avril "didn't kill anyone", her crimes are definitely associated with her being the Phantom Thief and she hid the real Avril. ^^ edit: merged posts. |

| I found it hilarious that Victorique hides from anyone she doesn't know. A trio team with Avril would be pretty cool. Though I'm sure Victorique wouldn't want her around. |

I thought of a single way the man could've gotten in there and died like that, but I just ignored all the stuff about the girl's funeral because I frankly didn't care. (I was more interested in the book an Avril the time, to be honest.) In this episode, I didn't take it seriously at all. I stopped caring when Victorique found the book using simply intuition and guessing. Sure, I didn't get "She's an imposter!", but it honestly wouldn't even matter in the end, because the 'mystery' was just plain boring. Also, Victorique basically guessed on the imposter thing too. So what? Sure I didn't get absolutely every detail... but that honestly doesn't make it any better. I guess reading and theorizing about elaborate closed rooms and such has just left me bored with this second-rate crap. Face it guys, this isn't much of a mystery. the fact is "it isn't awesome for thing you so called mystery, it's also the Characters, sorry dude, your mind as been used enough that's why you can't think for things in here, oh and animation failure? "In the end, it turns out my theory was false due to an animation failure. Go figure. " there really is no animation failure, you're just too PROUD of your so called theory that you're kinda pissed at how the "RED HERRING" trick works on you. the FIRST CASE is already solved at episode 4 and have definitely no link to what happened in the latter half of episode 4 and the whole episode 5. you can't understand it don't you? oh and in any case you don't know RED HERRING kindly read it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_herring and the culprit is captured by three things Victorica have spouted. -the culprit is a girl(woman) with blonde hair -the culprit has wound in her hands, cut fingers -and the last most important thing, she suggested to check surgical hospitals, looking back at the blood at wire, it's not just an ordinary wound it's a cut, so basically, you need to have it operated, and if you have ever learned of STATISTICS, those three things narrowed than possible suspects and led to the arrest of a girl with those descriptions. and what is stated in the newspaper? the girl did not said anything about her motive, it's not that the girl tried to state she's not guilty. and so the case is finished. the fact that they did not tell the name of the culprit and the victim is not of our concern since were not the police. IT LED TO YOU DISMAY also cause they only show you the face of the culprit and have fell to the effects of Red Herring. such a shame my friend your mind has deteriorated. ^^ |

| Victorique was good as always and the teacher was decent as well. I was ready to rip into Kuju who by the end of the episode was hoping he was killed off. As his character seemed to do a complete 180 from the previous arc. I mean come on, all those people on the boat saw her, but yet NOW he's questioning whether or not she is real? That is until I seen someone explain the reasons why that was. Not too bright whoever worked things out like that. |

| The blushing scene at the end is really cute, implying that there was a reason why Victorique showed herself to Kujo. Also a rival for Kujo's heart in the form of the real avril. As for the mysteries though, it was kinda interesting, the twist for how the story goes, again relating the past mystery regarding Maxim to the phantom thief and to the impostor Avril and to how much a stamp can on the post card could actually cost a lot. What I really enjoyed though was realizing that the flight of stairs and a pile of books could be a deadly weapon, considering how a long way down the impostor avril went through. XD |
