| I just love how chill Helck is taking all this in, regardless of who he is facing. This episode was pretty chill though. That witch also dropped in by some valuable info while Helck went fishing. Feels like this is a calm before the storm type of episode. And unsurprisingly, the sea has some nasty creatures. |

| Seems Helck managed to capture three shikango, just as Vermilio had anticipated. It's rather amusing how closely they resemble disgruntled deer munching on their food. While bidding farewell to the villagers brings a sense of nostalgia, it's heartening to see young Piwi becoming part of the group's journey. That adorable, fluffy companion truly steals the spotlight. It's quite endearing how the witch playfully wrestled him down to give his soft, fuzzy belly a rub. |

| So that’s clearly someone from the demon continent and related to Vermirio, but who? Mom? Tribe member or what? No way she was there for just the heck of it. She looks happy on that island as well. Maybe she didn’t like what was going on in the demon continent and just wanted to get away from it all. I found the way she worded her directions interesting as well. it seem like the world is way bigger than the demons previously thought which is kind of wild that such a powerful species never bothered to explore outside their own area. That makes me wonder if the human king is actually someone from beyond the human and demon realms. Given that he had the magic capacity to turn everyone into awakened warriors we know he can’t be some regular human. Corstag coming back to actually be a relevant part of the series is hilarious. Who would’ve thought that it would be the key to getting home. And Piwi is in the party now! |

| The episode starts with a couple of very amusing scenes on the island. Follows some ominous foreshadowing about Helck and the future made by this mysterious witch. Follows the beginning of an hilarious sea expedition to get back to the continent by what looks like to be our new trio for the foreseeable future (Vermilio, Helck, and... Piwi!). And concludes with a great cliffhanger! Basically, a very very good episode, in which a lot of things happen! Also, I'm really glad Piwi is going to join them, it is a very funny character for sure :) |
| Now that's a witch hat, so glad Piwi is part of the team now, he is just too cute, so Anne from management was finally starting to change her option about Helck but the Witch knows inside Helck there is a lot to unpack, he is someone to thrust but one wrong decision and he could become a calamity. Episodes are way too short! |
Interesting episode!
So, now I have some theories as to who the witch is. Theory 1: It's Circe. I mean according to the legends, she was banished to an island. And she's been known to turn men into pigs, the island happens to have pig like humanoids. Theory 2: It's future Vermlio, with big Piwi. Mirality said: The witch was a taller, otherwise identical Vermilio, and she had a taller Piwi as well. There's definitely some time travel or alternate universe shenanigans afoot. Theory 3: Why not both? Witch is future Vermilio, which the Greeks called Circe? Well, we'll get a sea fight next week for sure! One other theory - is there any chance petting Piwi's stomach will "heal" them? That seems to be too much of a coincidental line. Maybe Piwi is coming along not to be Vermilio's mascot / pet, but her healer? |

| Yeah, the Witch is very obviously just a future Vermilio, right down to using the same explosive spells. The implications of that are quite comfortably the most interesting thing to have happened in this show since they got sent to the island of annoying mascots. |
| I get the feeling the witch is her in the future, but then she also isn't sure how things with Helck are going to turn out so idk, the resemblence is far too striking. this island bit has gone on way way way too long and i'm getting frustrated. |

| Yeah the witch and Vermilio are somehow related, I was thinking maybe a sister or cousin. What struck me the most was that the witch warned Vermilio about Helck being potentially dangerous, he definitely has some bottled up negative energy. Also, I think it was mentioned in an earlier episode that Helck may have or had a brother, not sure if that's related to the human king but there may be a link. For now Vermilio and Helck need to reach land which it looks like they will in the next episode but not before kicking that giant octopus' butt. |

| Huh, so Helck does stock up a lot of negative energy and Vermilio is justifiably wary of him. You never know when is he going to burst and how. Also Piwi came along for the comical interactions with her so it's all good there. "Yooosh" episode |

| So the Great Witch is probably some way related to Vermilio Anne, that seems obvious. What is not obvious is why she is keeping it a secret being from the empire. Perhaps she was exiled? I dont know why the corstag just chewing air constantly was funny to me |

| The sea deer thing is a chad and it knows it. It's amazing just how much the witch is dripping in intrigue. How she may or may not be a future version of Vermillio, the sheer cryptic energy from "the continent you want to go to", and her somehow knowing Helck's past are all goldmines for crackpot theories. |

But to me the biggest question is - how do they think they will finish it in 24 episodes. They are doing verbatim adaptation - which would be fine if it wasn't for the problems. But unless they cut a lot, they will need 36 episodes at least. Heck, here they added like 30-45 seconds of original stuff. And they don't have the time for that. I really hope that will at least mean that people will read manga - it is truly fantastic. By my estimate they will hit 1/3rd point around episode 11. Not including Omake, which itself while not plentiful adds a lot of flavor and fills out some important details along the way. I really hope there will be some Season 3, not just 2 announced. Otherwise it will go from verbatim to speedrun. And not 100% kind. |

| The Witch Time Travel or Mother... I wonder which one, LOL. Or she really is just a random Witch that looks similar to and older Vermi. . Personally I think she's secretly Vermi's mother, especially with the way she talked to Vermi through Piwi's letter. Sounded a lot like a mother sending her daughter off. (but if she really was, felt kinda sad they didn't actually spend any time together... or even talk about their travels or anything) (also, I guess Piwi is gonna be placing the Pengi back in Demon Country as the main mascot, lol) |
