| Oh boy, this got slightly complicated with the war drama, or in particular...Fred and Leo's relationship in the show. I'm actually quite glad these two got more screen time. Max playing badminton seemed like a such a random activity out of the blue but it gave him more time to have fun with his friends. |

| Max and The Demon Lord playing Badminton was hilarious and the highlight of the episode for me and this upcoming battle between Fred and Leo looks like it will be epic |
| Man... Fred-chan really annoyed me, yet I can't bring myself to hate him. The dude is just too entrenched in his own hubris politics; he willingly goes to war with Leo, fully aware that the whole situation is suspicious as hell. Besides, without Fred, the ghost girl would have no target to bully. Lastly the fact that the entire episode's budget goes to the badminton scene is surprising but definitely a welcome one. |
| I'm genuinely surprised they added more into this show. A lot of anime original scenes where Grimms was manipulating Fred to attack the Republic against Leo at the beginning. And one of the board member calling Grimms to ask if he was behind all the ruckus (or something like that) I was also not expecting the badminton scene to be animated this well. It looks like the Production committee plans to expand this franchise by giving it an above average production quality. Hope we'll have more seasons of this show. The arcs after this are really interesting to be honest. Cant wait for the climax of this show next episode... |

| Translators try not to use “Thot” in a sentence to sound cool challenge(IMPOSSIBLE) That badminton fight was insane lol. They had no reason to snap that hard on the production. The fact Maou had just been told not to show her powers and then goes all out like that makes it funnier. The little girl who put them up to it is way too smart for age, I wonder if that’s Yuria’s daughter or something Honestly disappointed in Fred’s actions. He clearly knows the whole thing has been set up and is a false flag operation to invade another country, yet he goes along with fighting Leo anyway. I thought that the casual chat they had before the fight started was an indication they would help each other out.. but nope I’m hoping there’s something more to the story that next episode will show us. Otherwise, he just kind of comes off as an idiot. |

| I never anticipated feeling this much excitement for this anime. The pacing and development are exceptionally well-crafted. Moreover, it's become evident that their power levels surpass those of regular individuals, including the military. Perhaps Maou could teleport Max at the crucial moment to prevent the confrontation? Yet again, this hinges on Max's willingness to partake. On another note, it's now confirmed that the ghost girl isn't the same as the mage girl. Reports indicate that Yuria is retired rather than deceased. Could it be plausible that the pregnant mother of the little girl is the fourth member? |

| Something about little badminton kid seems sus, especially with the sweet. I think maybe her mam knows something. When she called the Demon Queen a thot that actually made me laugh. Not sure how long Max can stand on the side lines here, but Fred taking out the general to save bloodshed makes me wonder if hes not all bad. |

| With talk of the badminton girl I am now contemplating her being the daughter of the 4th party member Yuria as others have pointed out which would then mean ghost girl is not the 4th member as I and others had thought. Yuria was also mentioned as being retired instead of dead. Anyways, the scene with that girl may lead up to meeting Yuria and she could end up playing the roll of peacekeeper or something. |

| From epic Badminton match in the first half to the beginning of Fred and Leo's battle. This animes definitely taken me to pleasant but unexpected plotlines! I'm curious about why Max was so focused on that candy. |

| I did not think at the start of the season that this would be one of my favorite shows but it totally is. The jokes really land for me. I loved when Maou was chewing Max out for gambling only to turn around and help him pay it off a bit. Also Maou getting called a thot by that kid was pretty funny. I really wish this show was getting a 2nd cour. |

| I quite enjoyed the series so far but this episode was probably one of the most pointless episodes out there. We knew at the end of episode 8 and basically nothing happened in episode 9, after all that buildup. Felt kinda weird. But I think this might be just a fluke and the show probably will return to slice of life/comedy/semi-(bro?)romance/whatever plot in due time. |

| So it seems the Minister is Sinister... Setting up a situation for Fred to either defect, or something even bigger in the Kingdom. Either way he must know he's in serious danger in his position now, and is smart enough to play it cool and not let any suspicions show on his face. He must know the Minister set the bomb... That badminton match was peak laffs Poo-Cube livestreams are back! I love the deadpan humor with the reporters and the drone... so now it looks like Fred and Tarzan are gonna settle their differences in full view of the world watching on their phones lol. Gotta say this show really knows its audience |

| @CHT13 Aw crap I hope we at least get a 13th episode or a Special or something, even if it's like a beach episode, I'd take it. The jokes in this are really sharp, and it's clever with its current day references to Youtube, smart phone apps and corporate humor. This is easily my favorite of the season and best written comedy I've seen in a few years. I just wish some of the characters like Tarzan and even Fred looked less goofy, and we got to see their female companion in the story. |

| With the terrorist situation, the Bureau of Magic is facing their biggest crisis since Max dropped his hero status, and Fred chooses to go at it alone to convince Max once more. Max's laxative from his meeting with Fred, and he cries...because he lost a racing bet with huge money on the line. That said, the Kingdom vs. Gamma Repubic situation isn't getting any better, and Max just wants to take a walk after losing that much money. A girl calling Maou a "thot" is hilarious, and she's looking for people to pla badminton with her, though her criticisms are as sharp and unforgiving too. The girl wanting Maou to play with Max, and they get serious within their conversation to make an intensive and intense confrontation. That was woefully cool, though so much for being "personal". Back at the border wall, everyone, even the media, are speculating on this pressing matter, that which must be settled between Fred and Leo as it puts kingdoms on the line. But the matter being streamed live online, it's a feast for the eyes as modern technology takes over and secrets are being spilled out of nowhere. Some reporters are on the hit-and-run footage, though to Fred, he doesn't care and gets a move on. A casual chat of Fred and Leo on Max, old friends have more affinity, and the action is better seen live. Let the showdown begin: Fred vs. Leo, a battle for the ages between former Hero party friends, now rivals. |
