| Well, there's definitely romance elements in this but I'm not impressed by Wataru's personality or character so far. He seems too blend and easily gets picked on. Episode follows a normal school setting, nothing really that stood out in particular yet. Besides Aika, I kinda like Kei. She seems somewhat tomboyish and outgoing. I'm hoping they develop the main cast along with the a better effort into the story. Just seems average to me at the moment. |

| One of the romance stories that I have wanting to read the LN for, the anime has finally arrived! Though I may have spoke too soon about the anime's subpar quality from the get-go... The realist boy that is Wataru "Sajotchi" Sajo, with his ever so stalk-ish nature on his crush: fellow classmate Aika Natsukawa, and the moment of change is when a soccer ball narrowly hits him like a mind-blowing explosion. Together with Aika's good friend of Kei Ashida, his stalking fanatic of Aika is known to the entire school, though him being realist is out of the ordinary for all expecting the usual rom-com. The next-door class's Rena Aizawa feels intrigued on his behaviour, though this earns the ire of his classmates and leaves him on airs, apart from Rena having had an ex-boyfriend in the form of 2nd Year Kazuki Arimura, which Kei just casually blurts out like nothing. Apologizing in their stead, Sajo laments with Rena on the fact that the love they had for each other was equivalent to swings and misses of misunderstandings. It's the same with Sajo falling for Aika in the most unkempt of circumstances after a rejection of his own. Though Kei did it because she thought that Rena has ulterior motives on Sajo, which is warranted. It's a good thing that both Rena and Arimura got back together, but while Sajo knows that he's out of league for Aika, her suddenly appearing at his house to tell him that she got asked out and calling out his weird behaviour of not being a stalker, he goes for gold to ask her out, despite knowing that she''ll reject him time and time again. Other than his older sister, the Student Council's vice president Kaede butting into their conversation, Sajo's ready to move on from his and Aika's "divorce", though she doesn't feel like letting go because of his diverse personality. A rather mediocre start that throws logic and plot points out of the window, no thanks very much. |

| I expected a bit more impact from the first episode but it was a bit mediocre. The characters didn't really stand out and the brown haired girl was really stereotype, it was also obvious that the main would have a big sister and not a brother or anything like that. I am not dissapointed but i did expect a bit more. |
| Argh.. the pacing is so rushed... one of my favourite light novel got ruined. And the episode did not clearly explain why Sajou had changed, which is the main highlight of this series. |

| Some of the scenes look horrible... I usually don't care much about animation and such, but watching this was painful. The protagonist seems cringe. My impression wasn't that he's realistic, I felt like he's just obtuse and dumb. The girls are pretty meh as well. Honestly, I just finished the episode and can barely recall what happened in it. So unremarkable. |
| Animation is really janky, that's not a good sign but I'll stick around to see where it goes, I didn't hate it but wasn't blown away either by the story so far. |

| That was like the most basic romcom I've think I've seen in a while. Usually these light novel romcoms have some sort of gimmick that they push, this just felt like... normal people doing normal things. Also being listed as a romcom, it wasn't particularly comical. |
| Actually, confusing scenes were interesting. Unlike an average seasonal anime, it lead to expectations and speculation. I'm betting this was intentional, if not - just validates majority opinion (misses the point of direction as usual). |
| That's what you get for ignoring him for so long girl, serves you right. Like the setting and mc. He persued her enough but it didn't work. Now it's time to chill, watch some animes and play games. Enjoy your life man. I just wish the production was better, some of the scenes looked so bad. |

| Pretty mediocre first episode for this. They really didn’t explain the reason for the personality shift the MC has and the pacing feels rushed. I don’t even really understand what the story is supposed to be about.. Looks like other people felt that way too so glad I’m not alone on that. I do like the art, didn’t mind the animation and find the girls are hot so I’ll be here weekly. But they need to slow down and characterise the characters better |

| This was really clunky to watch, not just from an visual perspective with the janky looking drawings and animation, but even the story introduction felt off for me right from the very beginning. Pacing wasn't great either to be honest, everything felt way too fast and not much buildup to where he was hit with the realization that he had to stop. Made it pretty difficult to care for what was even happening there when that was one of many, including the whole debacle of a situation between Rena and her ex. Didn't go into this with much expectations, and it somehow was weaker than that for a premiere. |

The animation is superb and the background music is excellent. It is a standard school romcom anime, not groundbreaking or anything exclusive, but I enjoyed the first episode. |
| pretty mid to be honest. the characters are both bland and annoying at the same time. if aika likes sajou why has she just continued to reject him? she has no right to be upset that he's moving on. it's very stupid in my eyes, idk. sajou is also?? very questionable. and he went from obsessing over her all the time to basically ignoring her? and that change happened in just a split second? doesn't really make sense to me. i hope the characters and story are expanded upon more and better, otherwise this will end up being a flop |

| They fking butchered such a good LN. Though to cut them some slack, it was a hard-to-adapt LN in the first place, considering all the monologues our MC has. And well this is pretty much an advertisement for the LN anyways. |

| I disliked Aika this entire episode until the ending. I actually didnt mind Sajou but I wish there was more to him then just being like "Okay guess Ill give up" |

| welp, it was an episode alright. so much happened lmao and pretty weird for mc being a stalker to be normalized by his classmates and teacher but with character development in one episode, no more stalking lol. pretty generic romcom but i'm not sure how this is gonna go, maybe aika will try to get sajo's attention now. |

| wtf did I watch. I'm so confused but interested at the same time. It seems weird how the whole school is in on the joke. Of this guys love life. But I am more confused about what happened to him? Dude developed depression and gained the mental fortitude to be rational? Now, as a story, I'm curious how this plays out and genuinely lost as to what is happening. But how ironic the second the mc pulls back, the lead girl comes chasing after his attention. I also find it interesting a lot of shots of the main characters alone with no background characters to sell the setting. Plus, they didn't shoe horn the word "creepy" to death, lol. |
| I'm just so confused what's supposed to be implied by the soccer scene. What made him change? Why would he not realize he's completely different? It's weird, but it's also literally the only thing separating this from any other harem romcom. |
