| Ah, another HoneyWorks-verse is here, with its absolutely packled VA cast, tho i like the country girl in a big city trope too. Now, as this is about the boy band idol group in Japan, i'm prepared for some violence, proper fan girl on a fan girl violent action. + The main girl seems like an interesting piece of a pumpkin potato as well. Also, the gyaru girl and the president needs a spin-off and a movie. The ED slaps harder than Will Smith. |

| Ah yes..an idol show with cool guys although there's a colorful main female protagonist too such as Hiyori. The guys are definitely popular to the classroom especially with Aizou. While I think the story isn't very impressive yet, it seems like a pretty lighthearted and fun anime in the school life setting. Another girl to take notice is Chizuru. She seems more mature than Hiyori. Seems like they're just warming up with this show by introducing the most relevant characters so far. |

| Based on the song of the same name by HoneyWorks, this is along the long-spanning works of HoneyWorks' Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai: Ren'ai series. The popular established virtual male idol group LIP×LIP of Yuujiro Someya and Aizo Shibasaki (voiced by the real Seiyuus Kouki Uchiyama and Nobunaga Shimazaki), and the unpopular heroine of this story: Hiyori Suzumi. To start a new school season being so woefully out of place, Hiyori finds herself at a stalemate, that is until her classmates Juri Hattori and Chizuru Nakamura came along to help console her. To find a part-time job to help sustain her survival a.k.a living expenses, Hiyori thought that she got an enticing offer, but this work is to manage the idols of LIP×LIP, which meant that she has to keep up with her classmates Yuujiro and Aizo as their manager. Lay-duce is back again with Gunjou no Fanfare this season, and this is a series I feel is more affiliated with the studio given its history. Fans of LIP×LIP, better have your torchlights at the ready. |

| It was an okay start. Nice OP/ED. Hiyori is such an endearing and energetic girl. Her reaction at the end was priceless. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| The voice cast is so stacked. It was a nice 1st episode, that's a shitload amount of school anime tropes and clichés used though, nevertheless, The vibe definitely screams "a HoneyWorks show. Definitely following this one out, or until it bores me and lose interest. |
| Another of HoneyWorks project is always welcome because I've been a fan of them and LIPxLIP since ages <3, thankful that they made another series and this time, the visual is a lot more stunning and I like this Hiyori girl, she's a wholesome blob mhm mhm, honestly I feel so comfortable hearing her voice because Inorin is a lighthearted VA who matches this girl but maybe it's a bit too energetic at times. Lmao I feel so bad for Hiyori when she only got a few claps from her classmate but Yuujirou and Aizo got all the girls screaming, it feels so nice to hear Saori and Ayane's voices every now and then, the VAs are freaking staked lol. Her classmates are so sweet that help Hiyori to be more comfortable in her new surrounding. Also, I think I've seen a story about a girl having to manage an idol group but in a different interpretation and exactly the same situation is where you become a manager for a basketball club. Ah yes the ED, all the women coming together yaas. |
| If there's one thing that got me hooked then it's Hiyoko'sHiyori's bubbly personality. Seiyuu cast is stacked for this one too. |

| Always great to see more Honeyworks, and ALWAYS great to see more Hiyori! It seems to be deviating from both the MVs and novel (no ASCANA, Nagisa now exists, etc) so I can't wait to see the direction the anime will take the story Also it was great to see the gen 2 characters, KotaHina always makes me smile and I hope we get some KouJuri crumbs |

| It's been a while since we've last had a HoneyWorks anime project, and this was a decent start first up to start the new project. It's nice to see some repeating characters like Hina, Koutarou and Akechi-sensei. I'm hoping to see at least a few cameos from the other characters of the universe too. MC is seriously genki and she's made two nice friends already but you'd have to feel things will start to get interesting now, lol. A lot of typical high school tropes were played along this episode but it sorta fit, so I'm not too bothered. It's just going to be one of those kinds of shows, for better or worse. Looks like the series is in safe hands in terms of the choice of team working behind the scenes and studio. As @KANLen09 rightly pointed out earlier, this is more like the kind show to expect from Lay-duce given their recent work history so here's to hoping they'll be able to keep this entertaining. Op and ED are pretty good too, as expected from HoneyWorks. |

| Nice to see another Honeyworks anime. Good start with fun new characters and appearance from some of the old casts. Wouldn't mind if I get to see some Hina and Kotarou moments. They are so cute. Also loved the OP and ED. The ED especially cause it's Hayamin, Ayaneru and Inorin. |

| Awe is indeed a very common reaction when visiting Tokyo for the first time. But leaving your hometown and family to pursue your aspirations sure is quite the step. Pretty calm and catchy opening. Hina sure is good at sliding into the best spots to jab at her friends lol. Still shame Hiyori's intro got overshadowed by Someya and Shibasaki's presence within her class. But damm thats an unfortunate seat that Hiyori found herself in. Looks like LIPXLIP don't exactly have the best of bonds at the moment. The talk show that featured the two was pretty amusing at the bards they're throwing at each other. But its nice to see Hiyori make her first friends in the form of Juri and Chizuru. To think that Hiyori would end up becoming the manager for Lips though. Overall an interesting opening that did well to introduce the cast as well as the specific tensions that comes from being in school school while being popular idols. Given the caliber of the cast here i hope that the narrative and characters will be given excellent expansion and allow them to flesh out their roles. Cute ending theme from Inorin, Hayamin and Ayaneru though. |

| Another awesome premiere episode on my list. Had been keeping an eye on this one for a long time and I wasn't disapointed at all. Gotta love Minase high pitch voice for this role and the contrast with the petulant boys she now has to babysit in this idol career. |
| It's a shame. Normally I like Minase's voice but in this show, I am finding it annoying to the point where I'm considering dropping it. will see in a week or 2 based on the story being interesting enough despite not hearing of anything connected to Honeyworks before. |

| Countryside pumpkin goes to Tokyo to join track team but has a run-in with idols who're actually her classmates. Normal story but Hiyori is pretty admirable for striving to find a part-time job in order to not put a strain on her family. Let's see where it goes. |

| Yes! I love Honeyworks so much I’m so glad they made another anime in the same universe. Seeing all those returning characters made me miss the old cast but I’m so excited to see what this new cast has to offer with some returning characters! Hiyori’s friends’ character designs are really dope, the orange girl reminds me of like a pokemon gym leader. And ofc the wonderful Saori Hayami has graced this episode. I really like the idea of this show and although I don’t like the two boys, ik they’ll get better as the show progresses. I already see ppl hating on this show but, trust it most definitely will get better. Cannot wait to hear the rest of the OST and see what roles the returning characters have! This episode made me so happy! |

| This is pretty great from this first episode. I really like Hiyori as an MC, she has nice eyebrows and I love her VA, and I love the outgoing personality, I’m guessing she’s gonna have hilarious moments in the future with the main idol duo. Also it struck me after watching it that the art style is very similar to “O Maidens in Your Savage Season” and I’m guessing that’s due to the same studio, awesome anyway, I adored that show back in good ol Summer 2019. I also like the friends Hiyori has met already, definitely a fun mix of personalities, as well as her track friend. There was also a handful of male characters near the beginning who I liked as well. This looks like it’ll be a fun show, idk if it’ll go full idol anime or be like a pseudo idol anime, I’m here for the ride no matter what tho, and I really liked the OP and ED, both nice visuals and ED song especially was a jam. |

| As a Haniwa fan, I've been so excited with this anime since December. Seeing this series now, I'm still impressed by how good it is. Hiyori's personality and cuteness is just wholesome to watch. The animation is pretty ok. Can't wait to see more Lip x Lip plus their performance. |

| Ah Setoguchi Hina, you still as pretty as i remember. Even if i can be honest here, the movie holds the charm more greatly, dunno why. Really wish her story isn't about that much doki-doki dramatic love life story. But anyway, hopefully you got more screentime, even if the story isn't about you anymore. So, tbh i don't quite prefer Minori high pitched voice, its sounds unnatural to me. Then again, when you look at how cheerish that girl personality was, maybe its not a bad deal at all. Not to mention when i heard Saori also there, and then Ayane? Woah looks like this is a definite show i need to care weekly, beside any other that i've been looking for years. Hoping the plot keep me refreshing with minimal drama intact to be more enjoyed. I need this otome show by Honeyworks to be as light as possible, if that's necessary. So lets see whats goin on next.... |

| That was a cute episode :) I feel like this will be better than Haniwa's other anime works in terms of story! Quality wise, it looks pretty good as well. Hiyori is really cute, and upbeat personalities like hers are hit or miss for me, so I'm glad I found her likable, since I'm here for LipxLip (and whatever screen time I can get for Full Throttle4). I do think Minase's voice in a bit too high pitched for my liking, but I don't find it grating at least, unlike in another anime where she used a high voice similar to this one. Seems like it will be fun overall, looking forward to seeing how Hiyori does as LipxLip's manager (lol their bad attitudes) as well just as her overall life! Pretty crazy how she'll have the time and energy to go to track and field club as well as the part-time job. |
| seiyuu line stacked as hell lol. good for them aw that was p cute!! ngl im not rly into the mc as of right now. and thats weird for me considering i love these "bubbly, positive, energetic" type of characters. maybe its the voice?😭 but ill prob grow into it im liking the side characters tho. classic cliche hs characters but i like them. my fav gotta be the gyaru one😋 damnn so the boys debuted before they're in highschool huh? and they're a duo too, gotta be rough oof. even more amazing how they've never got caught hating each other LMAO, i know not every idol(group members) like eachother but its gotta be even harder to hide when its just the two of you okayy uh ill try to guess where this is going. fl gonna make these two open up and eventually make them be friends again, but they'll both have feelings for her so thats where the climax is gonna hit. methinks weird bangs blue haired dude is gonna win |

| I enjoyed that a lot, and goddamn this fucking voice cast is s t a c k e d. Was waiting for this for a while now, I didn't know anything about the Honeyworks universe before this, but this did not disappoint. Time to manage some douche idols. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Plot is pretty generic and cliches are all over the place. Feels like this belongs in the 2000s than current decade. Never been a fan of “purposely making your character looks like a potato” like those side characters in chihayafuru. Hope this whole show is about female MC character progression and not 2 male MC bullying her and then slowly falling in love. Just no please. |

| I'll be honest, I just tried this one out because of the VAs. I've got no clue about the idol situation or this larger universe it takes place in, but regardless, this is one of the best first episodes this season. |
