| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aye, Katarina is here to enlighten us with her stylish personality. It really didn't take much to show her lifestyle in this fantasy world. The lady-like attitude she shows towards the gentlemen is rather paradoxical compared to when she loses her temper. What's kinda unique about this is the otome factor. There's a lot of nobles in this show and the world setting fits with the overall look of the anime. Katarina/Bakarina is absolutely adorable lol OP song is pretty catchy too |

| This was really fun. It's got good production, I laughed a good amount of times and I'm really excited to see how her relationship with Gerado goes along since it seems to be going in a very weird direction but I like it. |

| If the perception of the anime is exactly the same as the perception of the original, and I am sure that it will be just that, then this may be the hottest het vs gay this year. Not because of the potential of ship war, but because yuri fans in the titles fandom have a very peculiar worldview and convincingly ignore any straight nuances in this show. It doesn’t matter how “bisexual” Bakarina’s harem is, which characters get the most ship tease with her or how the publisher promotes the show, people will always call it yuri LN and ignore any characters except Mary and Maria. When ANN's yuri fans call it "the best isekai in history," it says a lot. No, I'm glad this franchise got such a big hype because of its yuri elements, but in the end fandom started to resemble something like Eupho's during the first season. I hope that I am mistaken about my "predictions", but still. |

| I like it. My expectations were high and I'm not disappointed so far. Hopefully it keeps this level of comedy and doesn't turn into drama later on. |
| A good start to this series. Katarina is a funny character and she's already engaged to a prince. Too bad she's in an otome game with bad endings for her character which is amusing. |

| Didn't enjoy this episode tbh. Was pretty bored and underwhelmed with the concept, let alone the execution of it. Art isn't that bad but everything else is just a fat 'meh'. |

Well, the original was originally a ridiculous parody of otome-harems LN. This is not so much a romantic story as Bakarina trying to save her life, not realizing that her harem has already gone beyond the shoujo and is more like a cheap shonen. Maria really looks like a yuri interest with serious potential, but this comes more from her status as a heroine and an important character for the plot as a whole, while the yuriness of the other girls is more played for laughs. Personally, I ship her with Kith (incest and inseki ships are my cup of tea), but until then Prince was the most serious love interest and the only one whom the author directly showed as such. | This was an amazing start and really unexpected. I really didn't think this will start this good. Katarina is a really sweet and adorable girl. The situation she's in is really intriguing, I'm really looking forward to see how she'll overcome the obstacles and not get the bad end. |

| love the bgm it really gives u the otome game feel, but is it just me or is the bgm too loud and is covering the voice actors' dialogues? i like this adapation so far. although they cut out a lot of contents (like katarina looking for the key to unlock the door) but by speeding up the plot it does make it more interesting to watch. i remember dropping the manga due to too much dialogues while katarina was thinking in her head. but anime made it go by pretty fast so i like that |
| Yes, count me in! I'm so glad this episode delivered, I've been a little cautious in case this would flop since I've been keeping an eye on the novel for a while now. Katarina's plethora of facial expressions and (inner-) selves were a treat to watch! Amazing work by Uchida-san, this. Best case scenario exiled and worst death, gee that's risky play xD. And the usual isekai set-up with the death in the previous life, I'm kind of glad they didn't show that though oddly enough. Seen 'nuff of that, I suppose lol. Comedy scenes were right on the mark this episode, imo. Katarina ought to pay more attention to her surroundings lol, I feel like she'll involuntarily just keep following the plot of the game and dig a grave for herself with time. Damn, that farming scene though lmao. Felt bad for her mother there. Looks like she's on the right path so far in denying Keith's route to succeed. And that final bit in the end was a solid move too, I wonder how long she'll be able to keep the good trend up. Quite the tragic backstory, I'm curious if Katarina took that into consideration and came up with those very appreciable words. Really catchy Op as well, both in music and visuals. If the visuals are anything to judge by, then we've got ourselves quite the fun ride in store. I can't wait until the Heroine pops up! Definitely up for more! |

| Yes, the long-awaited Otome isekai Bakarina. I actually never read the manga or the light novel but I knew of its existence for a long time since it's really popular and it's one of the first otome isekai correct me if I'm wrong. This looks like a great start and I really love her va. That scene in the council room was hilarious can't wait for more. |

| I love the opening! I'm not a fan of otomes/reverse harems but I found the synopsis funny and there were other girls too so I decided to give it a try... It was great! Katarina is such a fun and lovable character. This is gonna be a lot of fun. Also, I just checked the cast and Saori Hayami and Inori Minsase voice two of the girls... Fuck yeah! All the more reason to root for them xD. |

| Finally, it’s here!! Will watch this, then Yesterday wo utatte and then Bookworm II. Saturday’s are going to be packed Pacing really good to start off, jokes landed well and great seiyuu staff. Loved that they showed aspects of the real world too, sometimes isekai adaptations will skip over that all together Enjoyed seeing the council of Catarina’s debate and determine her next actions Catarina almost died 3 times this ep alone from being stupid, going for a record lol. Really nice ending scene with her bursting through the door, that was actually quite sweet Even if you don’t like isekai normally you should definitely give this a chance. It inverts a lot of the normal tropes that you see in isekai. I was a bit skeptical myself to get into the series because I actually enjoy the generic isekai otaku escapism tropes: harems, op MC, etc. But this broadened my horizon. |

| That was fine so far, the setting of being reincarnated into an otome game feels like a refreshing approach at the isekai genre also that it's a female lead here. Catarina is funny, lively and a bit of a klutz, that she wants to change the inevitable bad end reminds me a bit of re:zero tbh. Three episodes for now but I think the signs are on watching here |
| Wow, I thought this would be more of an adaptation of the manga, but it's actually following the LN more! Pleasantly surprised on how good this turned out to be and loved how much more detail went into this. If the rest of the episodes follow the same quality I'll be really happy. |

| Not often that an anime does the LN justice, praise BAKARINA! I'm very pleased with the start as it was hilarious and captured the atmosphere and comedy very well My only complaint is that they didn't adapt the boys perspective to them meeting Katarina because that would give them a lot more depth. In this case, Being in couple would be a good definition for me. Thank you for your explication. |

Because it kinda gets confusing with all the different translations of his name. Official site and twitter call it "Hamehura" but seems to be localized as "Hamefura". kinda annoying.
