DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meh, first half of this episode was boring with the development of this treasure hunting game. On the other hand, at least we're getting to see more of Shuka in action. Kaname's also got more decent allies on his side, at least for now. Out of his group, Rein is probably the most valuable members. |

Like he hasn’t even tried creating anything different why didn’t he at least try creating an oxygen mask when he went swimming????? | Kyoda should not feel so bad about his ability. Useless in direct combat yeah but still a strategic game changer especially in events like these. Pretty bland episode. Hopfeully, things will escalate next week. |

| I feel like Ryuuji's sigil is really useful... as long as he's part of a group and judging by the Op, he'll be joining Shuka & Kaname so I think he'll be a great ally. I feel suspicious of that girl... I feel like the kid who bested Shuka isn't her. My theory is that they're twins because the one who beat Shuka seemed like a boy. |

It's just an excuse to have a battle royal situation. I tried to like this but it's just really generic, bad, edgy shounen. Mirai Nikki at least had intensity and good animation. This anime got a score of 7.5? People's standard for anime really went down the drain huh? this anime rating is 7.5 because there is something called different opinions |

| Honestly I find this show pretty entertaining. I quite like this type of situation being in a game where you have to figure out all the hidden rules or whatnot. So I was thinking the water boy might the girl's (idk if it's actually boy or girl but w/e) twin or something since initially it seemed like they weren't lying. Turns out big dude was just hiding the fact that it was a lie. But they were at least being honest about not wanting to hurt team good guys so I'm def curious about this character. |

| Idc what anyone says, Darwin's game is gas. It's a unique and fresh premise with amazing fights, art, music and animation. It keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly and is a very enjoyable ride. All the characters feel unique and their interactions are great. I've never seen a battle royale series so this is my first and I'm finding it to be a great time. Def one of my faves of the 23 I'm watching this season. Shuka better be ok, otherwise I'm going to break my tv |

| Did they make any subtle change in the ill-advised recap? It sounded very weird how in this episode they talked about how Kaname can make copies of objects, when that's never been referenced before. As far as we knew until last episode, he could create weapons, not specifically copy them. Also, are the numbers to be summed up in order and they give coordinates for a location? This one of the first theories that came to mind when the QR code showed numbers. I hate QR codes, by the way. |
| Lol Shuka shares my distaste of campers. Given the promise of the large payout its no wonder that Darwins Game will have so many players. The potential for riches far exceeds the risks in their eyes i guess. The little talk between Kaname and his departed friends though was an insightful one. Given his nature Wang was sure to have plenty of enemies. Its nice that this fact allowed the team to gain one more member. Shuka's opponent in the mall though sure proved to be a tricky being one that commanded a combo sigil. Seems that the rings are not the true goals for this event. The quest to rescue Shuka though sure looks to be a tough one given that her opponent has such a massive advantage given the flooded mall. Overall a balanced ep that while allowing Kaname and Rein to form new alliances with their former opponents also did well to introduce new opponents in the form of the combo user as well as set the stage for the 8th's impending assault on the hotel. The girl though is a rather curious addition but one that seems connected to Shuka's opponent. Curious to see what happens next. |

| Given Kaname's kindness I wonder if the show will ever force him to kill someone or have one of the team members get killed. As far as that type of stuff goes, the show has played it remarkably safe. Most of the characters who have been killed were either randos or barely developed. |

| I wonder if that kid has a twin brother or just multi personality. The indications from this episode proves it to be the later imo. Also that last scene, looks like Shuka's parents have passed away. I'd like to know more about her. |

| And we're back after a week's worth of delay. The backstory before Kaname ever got into Darwin's Game with Kyoda and Hamada is just batshit, an attempt to have someone cover up for their shit. Back in the game itself, Rein and Kaname are glad that the Florist Hiiragi (plus masked Ryuji) are on their side, if they want to settle things with the 8th Clan, and a few members more to come if they'd want to end their feuds with Wang's foothold. And meanwhile, Shuka is caught in a bind, and Kaname and Ryuji go in their stead to save her, while Rein and Hiiragi are left at the hotel to discover the secret of the rings. Would love that Ryuji's Sigil be called "Bullshit Detector" but that's missed out. It's just a turning point for Shuka, and the new kid whose water Sigil is strong. (that drowned her). What truly gives in each and another's situation? |

| Kind of annoying how the OP spoils that the water kid is going to join the party. But for as little hype this show has, I think it's pretty good. You don't need an interesting MC when the setting is this edgy. I doubt it could compete with half of the shows from last year, but I'm still somewhat excited when I see a new episode out. |
