| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aired earlier as usual on Tokyo MX, cleared and finished out of screentime. The last spurt of the Nationals, and the hyped spirit is still in the air for those who haven't had their turn, for reasons obvious and not. As for the girls of Chidori, the group matches are done with the results last episode (which was a healthy 3 weeks ago), and now it's up to the individuals' score points to see who qualifies into the finals in the future...where not just Erika feels hopeless (that she did her usual high score), but even worse, for Hikari, whose personality relies on challenges to succeed, and with the group matches done, she's worthless alone. Maho of Hozumi High School made gold with her individual prowess, good to see that. And with it, the Nationals have come to an end, as everyone makes solace with their own efforts, striving for better results in the future...and the Yuri pretty much still prevalent. As for animation, dealing with "production issues" for 3 weeks isn't probable, as the final episode here has pretty much the same atmosphere of the series that has been running since Fall. So I'd speculate that they didn't want to end this series on a bang, but with decent results. Good finale, I'd say? Hopes spur into the future. |

| A bit of a cute ending but the show was overall probably the worst 3hz series I seen. I still watched because I like the character designs and I got nothing better to do whenever an episode airs. At least the final competition arc was pretty solid, they got realistic results and they had a good time, enjoyed it overall. |

| The teacher was so upset over missing out on fireworks her lesbians having naked fun time together!! Awww you poor thing!! A lot of Yuri like always!!! Sayu seems to like Erika and said she is her type!!!,,,YEEEES!! Go for her honey!! And Hikari found a new friend and started flirting with her!! It was so cute!!The lesbians were all over the place!!! In the end all my precious little angels were happy alive and pure! And overall it was gay as hell!!!!!!!,,YEEEEES!!! Easy 10/10  |

| And the competition came to an end. Unfortunately for Hikari, she didn't make it to the finals with her poor score. Though she was able to recover from that, which is good. Overall, not a bad series. |

| watched the final episode today. Serena was able to make me laugh with that t-shirt. xD Sayu is shy to approach Erika hime. Hikari suffer the agony of defeat. She's almost turning to dust! :( Well, Konno manage to score good although she did not make top 8. Hmm, andf that girl from the place with no prelims did very well -- I guess she was in the ending song for a reason. :p Overall, I enjoyed watching show, :) Hikari only first year, so plenty of chance to become better. Will buy something from this show to give them a little help. |

| The individual finals were pretty depressing but glad that girls are all cheered up again. Really love all four them and ofc the sensei too. Overall a really fun and enjoyable sports anime. I doubt we'll ever get a second season but I sure hope this gets one. |

| would just like to add before leaving the thread.. that looks like an intense final match between Maho and Serena. Looks like Serena wanted to dedicate a victory for the band that she likes. However, in the end, rock-hard abs defeat a rock t-shirt by a small margin. Not easy to win against the final boss. :p |
| Ah, finally its over! enjoyed this series even though I Felt like they were introducing all these characters from the other schools left and right every episode. Sad Hikari didn't make it into the finals. |

| This finale sold like it was a 'the journey is more important than the destination' type of storytelling. I'll miss this anime but it's not as great as some of past slice of life series I've seen in recent years. At least the girls are smilng and looking brighter for their future. Too bad for Hikari this time around. A miracle didn't happen for her. 6/10. |

| The wait for the final episode reached its end and now it's time to feel sad that it's over q_q Sweet show that balanced well both sports and cute girls elements and handled in a pretty solid way I quite huge side cast due to the type of sport it is, Hikari is too precious. |

| What can I say, I think this was carried on purely by the character interactions, the story was nothing big at least the conclusion was realistic. Gonna miss it a bit but since they strapped that END there we probably won't see more. |
| Kinda sad it was such a lackluster finale but it seemed fitting. I've seen "END" in a lot of anime that got sequels, but I don't expect one from this given how poorly it's done. |

| Well, were finally at the end, and it was a pretty decent finale I guess. I initially went into this anime out of curiosity, but thought it would be the most boring thing ever, and it could have been had it not been for the stupid thoughts of the characters that completely destroyed any real possibilities of actual drama and seriousness this anime could have had, which would have been stupid givin how boring this was when they weren't doing or thinking something stupid. Basically it was decently entertaining and pretty chill, twas a pretty nice anime to drink coffee too. |

She's supposed to be a monster, they didn't even explain how she got even below Erika 7th place Also I don't know what people expect for a finale lol this show is a Rifle shooting sport, ofc there wouldn't be some planetary fight Yukio is best girl 8/10 |

| somewhat sad this is over not like it was amazing or anything and it started off rough but as more and more characters joined it got more enjoyable giving me saki vibes. it's funny because even the show is self aware on how boring beam rifling is to watch so the best parts are all centered around that so maybe if it was almost any other sport the sports aspect would've carried this to a higher score ,we need a another survival club anime flat 7 /10 gonna miss all these timed monologue one liners from the cast |

Well, what can we expect from the sport? it 's just characters standing and shooting from one place, till time expires. I'm impressed the writers were able to turn this into something watchable, and even enjoyable for some people. :) |

| Not gonna lie, I almost forgot there was still one episode left. Somewhat decent finale overall. A bit disappointed they didn't mention how much my girl Yukio scored tho. Honestly, kinda hard to believe she didn't even get into the top 8 to begin with but well. Overall, not a series I will remember in the long term but I admit it had certain charm when it comes to balance the Spokon aspect with the CGDCT one. 6/10 - Way to go, Tae-chan! You only appeared for one episode but I'm already really proud of you :') |

| Good anime. Enjoyable with some funny moments. Definetly underrated. I can't help but to think about many others out there similar to it (cute girls) but boring and with such a high score. Things I ll never understand. Anyway, 7/10 |

| Such a shame how this nice story animation had a bad reputation and a low watcher out there. Refusing any other reason shall appear to the surface, i clearly can not understand why that happen in my first glance. This show becomes less popular comparing to another CGDCT or any other Sport anime activity before, make me angry. Alas, like all the character said in this show, Shoting Rifle can not become popular even in the real world they keep stay in the shadow. Hell, Rifle Shoting is an official Olympics Sport branch, it never be as a catallyst. And people actually dont believe much with that fact, facepalmed. How sadly, how stressful, how unfair this world wide had. Poor you, cute girl, you trap in the wrong show. And this show will be enter their destiny with no objectivity. | I'm still not sure how I feel about this show turning into a full-fledged sports series in the last third. On the one hand it's extremely rare for any sports show to actually make it to the Nationals competition during it's runtime (let alone in under 20 episodes). Yet on the other... the sport in question is obscenely boring. Even golf is more engaging. |
| Poor Hikari. She didn't make it to the finals. The individual finals were pretty depressing and Yukio's low score didn't made much sense in my opinion. A little disappointing final episode, but overall this was a decent CGDCT. The characters were all cute and I liked the OST during the shootings. Those little yuri moments were also hilarious. |

| WTF, they didn't show neither Hikari's shooting nor the final shoot-out? Like, MC's final performance was deleted? That's really dissapointing. I hate when they rush final episodes of sports anime but i never saw something like this. |

| i really enjoyed this series though sadly this will be the only anime of this series cause even the main manga story is even over but at the same time thats ok to say the least as i feel this series really didnt need to much (even though i would have loved more anime of it ) but yeah will check out the manga to see how this series ended anyway was a nice watch and very cute |

| This anime was spectacular, and is sorely underappreciated. The girls were all vibrant and expressive, the animation was solid throughout, it intertwined comedy and plot in a surprisingly coherent light-hearted manner, and it doesn't fall into any obvious or predictable narrative pitfalls. It does end on a somewhat bitter note with Hikari getting a pitiful score and failing to make the finals, which is disheartening, but at the same time it would've been too easy to have a collection of cobbled together rookies get "too far" in the competition first time around. None of them get too hung up about it either, and go back to practicing for future competitions, so there is that bright spot there. Twelve episodes is rarely enough for any anime to properly pace an overarching plot or goal for the main characters, and it shows here with the final episode being somewhat rushed and unsatisfying. I would've loved for this to get a second season. |

| Pretty anti-climactic finale. They really rushed through it, especially with all the characters they kept pushing. Didn't even get to see Yukio's big moment, and the final showdown could've been more dramatic. Anyways, the show started a little slow but was really good, definitely made me laugh and smile. 8.5 crouching snipers, hidden oppais /10 |

| This is the first CGDCT anime for me, I watched it for the 2024 summer stack challenge, but it turned out I really enjoyed it, it was a fun little series, I felt bad for Hikari and Shidori's club overall :( , but that's really how life works, it's a hit or a miss, but she got new friends and enjoyed her summer vacation, so it's not a total loss, I really hope for a second season, I loved the art-style and the characters, and the story can progress to the Olympics, I'm gonna give it an 8, I guess I'll watch more of CGDCT genre in the future :D  |
