Only Makoto's route was not written by him. Pretty sure he did most of chapter 1, you can clearly notice his powerful writing in the first few minutes and during the swing scene/conversation between Naoya and Rin.

He is mostly known as the writer of Hatsuyuki Sakura, he wrote the entirety of it by himself. My first exposure to Niijima's writing was Sena's route in Koikake. It was pretty nice, especially the true end. He did Summer Pockets too, which I consider the best key game so far. So I still have a high opinion of him.

I think it's better to have Niijima instead of random Makura writers. You know Himanatsu? Scaji wrote a route there. It's funny how the gap going from common route to Yomi's was so apparent. Scaji is simply in a different league.

Have you read any Niijima work? He's listed as side writer, but judging by what Scaji has said on twitter and in the prerelease fanbook, the content by Niijima will probably not appear in the finished game. Not sure though.

Sakutoki has a really strong start, I read the trial a few days ago. I wish picapica were this good.

Sakutoki will come out in summer it seems. Time to re-read Sakuuta

Yes. Of his anime I just didn't watch Kino no Tabi and Sakura Taisen that I will follow now.

I expected good characterization to compensate for the seemingly repetitive plot.
If the philosophical side of the game doesn't do it for me, I'm afraid I won't enjoy it.

Finally started 青い空のカミュ. Neat background visuals and music. But I still don't care much for the characters thus far.

Haven't played many Eushully games but I can confirm that lol.

Will probably check it out when I have no other stuff to play.

Actually among the eroge on your list I'm more interested in 腐り姫. I want to get into Sakurai games too but I don't know which one to start with.

I've played Verita for a few hours. I think the visuals and gameplay are an improvement from Zero. But the worldbuilding and story didn't feel as engaging.

I don't like the character design for Camus sadly. Synopsis doesn't interest me either. And it's short. Lately kinda in the mood to immerse myself in a long story, which is why I'm playing Rance series rn.
