Eh, I think Nana's role in the show creates a balance between the two main characters. She's also super cute as a kid with that camera.

It's a mystery episode that still able to capture the magic of the comedy that works for the series. The only thing I wonder if this anime plans to develop Muhyo as a character from this point.

Really would love to learn more about the guy.

As I am an extremely short guy, I like it when anime protagonists are short as well. But, this is a bit too much! The protagonist here is an infant with a terrible personality. Is he trying to be the Japanese version of Stewie Griffin?

Unlike the first episode, this one was quite boring. I don't like the new characters that got introduced.

Liking it so far. I'm also wondering if they'll develop Muhyo or if the series will take an episodic setting. Either way, looks like the one who told me that this series would continue on September was wrong, probably a confusion on the dates (On my country, we go DD/MM/YYYY, contrary to other dates that go by MM/DD/YYYY)

So, they're going chapter by chapter of a manga that has well over a hundred of them. How the hell do they plan to adapt all of this?

They adapted the first chapter in the last episode.

Now they've skipped to chapter 5 (about Kenji) and also adapted 7/8 (Nana)

Looking at the preview they're going back to chapter 2. I hope they skip some of the stand alone cases because I don't think this is going to be a long series. Hopefully we jump into the main plot soon.

[EDIT] Wait, this is 12 episodes? This will need a second season if they're not going to rush things.

The second half of this episode with Nana was really sweet. Sucks her relationship with her dad wasn't so great, but it's cool they were able to make up. I really hope we can get some more development on Muhyo and I wonder if we'll ever get to see any of the spirits struggle to get judged like they fight back or something. I think it'd be really cool to see a genuine fight between the spirits/ghosts and Muhyo.

I’m sitting here waiting for the meat of the story about Enchu to finally develop. Eventually. Sad the anime is only 12 eps. There is so much more than those 12 can give us.

The second half was great compare to whole first episode's case. It was well done and just everything got to the point, while first half was silly(could been fit as intro episode?!). Overall, enjoyed lot more than the first episode.

MC is still relentless harsh!

So far I am finding the series pretty mediocre. They did tease a larger arcing story so here's hoping that turns out good.

Annoying characters and stupid scenarios but I'm curious about that mysterious guy so I'll keep watching. + It's very mindless.

Kind of annoying characters (specially that kid) and the history is incoherent at times, something seems to be happening in the background but it is completely disconnected from the main history.

How come they did not give a fuck about the kid breaking their sign? Did they just invited him inside to know why he did it?

It is an anime about applying laws against spirits, but it is lacking the investigation part (I don't know if the manga tries to detail that part). Makes me wonder if they are rushing it.

This is exactly the kind of thing I like from supernatural shows. The sheer creativity of all the weird and creepy monster and demons and creatures that the writer(s) can come up with. That said I'm not particularly fond of the protags. But at least they have some character, unlike the painfully generic protagonist from fukigen no mononokean-a show from last year- which I totally would have kept going with if literally anyone else was the protagonist. Course these 2 boys aren't THAT interesting but they're certainly something.

Also, how long have they been working? Roji didn't even know what the river of stix was but I think that's where the ghost from episode 1 was sent? But it seems like they've been at it for long enough to know something about each other? Or the job? Rouji can explain their job but he doesn't know the river of stix?

Also, I've found myself losing patience for anime that try to set up a mystery or establish a character with a connection to the main cast right from the start? That nightmare bit Muhyo had caught my attention but I don't see why I should care who Enchu is. I barely know a damn thing about these 2 kids. Tell me something about them before you try to delve into their past! Do they go to school? Do they like anything at all? Do they have parents or a home or anywhere else to go to but that shop? How'd Muhyo become an executor? Anything before you try to make me care about someone I don't know doing something I can only imagine in a place I can't even tell if it's in the human world or in another dimension!

And from the sound of it, the source material has gone on much longer and maybe I should adjust my expectations for when the show fails to tell me anything about these people.

Really sad that this is only twelve episodes. The manga was one of my faves back in the day and since it ended years ago the only reason to not give it a decent length adaptation like Ushio and Tora got is laziness.

Quite the interesting parts of cases. Not too shabby but the pacing is a bit wonky. Well let's see what's next!

Another interesting law of magic Muhyo used to expelled some unexpected ghost. Yo, the last girl had some dark past with her family. Fortunately, she came to the right person. Its Muhyo to solved her supranatural thingy by brought back her father soul into a peaceful placed. Such a warm condition to resolved the supranatural problem. And, yeah, Muhyo was less arrogance than before and he seems to be a non perfect MC at all, by took some misjudgement at his ritual. At last, lets see their journey and interactuon around the job....

Also in the last sequences. Its a great explanations there, as always in the end. I like that shit with a fish smoke being a sign of difficult ghost. Lol.

Kinda wished Muhyo and Rouji sued the Kenji-brat over breaking private property especially since he never apologised for it. I found it bit random how the father just died of a sudden heartattack, or perhaps something more is going on? (at least I hope so).

seriously, some of you don't get how her dad could die? the stress of being a single parent, trying to make ends meet, working a dead end job. he had clearly become disheveled since his separation from his wife. sadly, people drop dead every day in real life

but the *actual* sad part was that girl feeling guilty all those years. it made me think about my own experiences, and it hurts. if some of you don't know what that's like, someday you will, unfortunately. we all do eventually

there's no good segue after that but this spirit whatever agency looks to be growing in size. might be good since that girl can see spirits, too

however, this show just isn't very good to me. some of the scenes this episode gave me the chills, which was cool. but some of these jokes, and the overall character behavior is a little too amateurish for me. if they would've targeted older teenagers instead of adolescents, i'd probably like it a lot more

around a 5/10 overall
